Christina and Andreas were quite thorough in their bids for 1) replacing 2 skylights, 2 replacing small deck leading from kitchen to our patio and 3 replacing roof on our shed. All work was with extreme care. There was very little drywall dust in replacing the skylights with their drop cloths catching what did fall. The deck' carpentry was done with precision cuts. Sub framing was replaced with more than adequate sub structure. They matched our roof for both the necessary rework around the kitchen skylights and just replacing the top half of out Dutch colonial style barn. I recommend them for your roofing, skylights and home improvement needs.

Fantastic! They worked so quickly and made sure that I had everything that I needed, including hi-resolution before and after photos photos of their work. They are very nice and diligent. They even recommended me to replace the chimney which was damaged due to age. But, I could not have known the problem because I could not see it from the ground or from inside the house.

It is difficult to make an early assessment. From the photographs of Before and After - it would appear that they have done a thorough and professional job. We need to see how the roof does face the challenges of severe weather conditions in the future. They are not the cheapest - value for the money can be ascertained after a few years. Their customer service is very very prompt and responsive - a huge plus!.

Excellent customer service.

They did a very complete exam of the roof with pictures to show what problem was (30+ year old skylights were failing) and then presented an estimate with options all with reasonable costs. We selected one option and they then did the installation. After the installation they an excellent cleanup both outside and inside. The crew was obviously experienced and they provided pictures of various stages of the installation. We will use then for the inside repair. I highly recommend them for this type of repair.

I am very impressed with Gaithersburg Roofing and Home Improvement. They provided an estimate the same day I requested it and quickly identified what needed to be done. The owner precisely explained the situation and I felt confident the project would be completed correctly. They soon had me scheduled and completed the job promptly. I had the team from Gaithersburg Roofing install 4 Velux power opening skylights. The salesman came to my home on time and wore a mask as well as took care to social distance. He was able to give detailed answers to my questions and explained the install process thoroughly. The install team arrived on time and again all wearing masks. They covered my floors and furniture with great care. The work was completed on time and the team even repaired a small portion of my roof that was not included in the install price. Once completed the team cleaned the work area and removed all debris. The foreman took time to explain the remote controls to me. In this day and age unfortunately, it is hard to find good quality skilled tradesman, however the team at Gaithersburg roofing did a great job and I will be sure to use them again. The original company that did my new roofing many years ago came back several times but did not repair the leak only charged more and more.
