Se above. I Recommend JAMMA highly. Very Personable as well. We alreally made another appointment with them to replace our attic fan! Great FAMILY owned and operated business and they provide that kind of great service you find from these businesses. They are not just in it for themselves.

Now for the more prosy version...
We'd been without effective air conditioning (or any air conditioning) since the recent warm temperatures started (around 25/26 May 2011). However, as we were away for the Memorial Day weekend, we did not contact any repair companies. The Monday we returned was brutally hot. On Tuesday morning, I made a list of ten Angie's List rated companies that were both nearby and had received a rating of A.
I began calling companies around 8:00 AM. The first seven companies informed me that they'd be happy to send someone out in three weeks. JAMA was number eight on the list, and I called them around 10:00 AM. When I called, Jose, the owner answered. He listened to my story (I thought I just needed a cleaning and a compressor charging), and simply asked if having someone there at 7:00 AM the next morning would be acceptable. After the previous seven calls I was so stunned, that I had to ask "you mean seven AM TOMORROW?"
At 6:51 the next morning, Jose's brother, Walter, arrived. He inspected the system, charged it, and cleaned my evaporator. He was thorough, professional and rapid. He was also friendly and polite. He pointed out the large fluctuations in pressure, and indicated that this was caused by erratic compressor performance, and that this meant that the compressor would cool the house, but not especially quickly. He also pointed out that this was the sign of a compressor on its last legs. (Note that the unit was about 20 years old.) When I asked how long it would last, he noted that it could very well last the summer, but might not.
I asked about replacement costs, and he quoted me a price - but also pointed out that there were savings if the furnace was replaced at the same time - both in terms of labor costs and overall system efficiency which would translate to lower energy bills.
After he left, I did some research, made some calls, and confirmed what Walter had told me. I called Jose around noon or 1:00 PM and told him that we wanted to replace the entire system. He told me that the work would be done either the next day or the day after, and that he'd call me back as soon as he could confirm availability of the system components.
He called me back a couple of hours later and told me that his crew would be out between 7:00 and 8:00 AM the next morning.
True to Jose's word, Walter and his apprentice Miguel showed up at 7:55 AM. They were polite, professional, quick, and very obviously knew their business. The removal, replacement and installation went without a hitch.
This morning, Walter called me to check on me and the unit, and to provide me the complete warranty information.
I couldn't have asked for a better HVAC experience.

The flapper was missing on the exterior vent for my oven. I called several companies and was referred to JAMA as they would actually do the installation of the duct/vent. I called on Monday 26 Jan 09 to describe the problem at 3p and they said although they could not make it out that afternoon, they would be at my house between 8:00-8:30 am on Tuesday. It began to snow at 7:15am Tuesday morning and I figured they would not be able to do the work due to the weather. Much to my surprise Jorge and his assistant arrived at 8:00am and quickly began working on the problem. The job was more difficult than anticipated but after an hour they completed the job and cleaned up the all the scraps and screws. I was very pleased with their work and will surely call them again for any HVAC needs.
