I was very pleased with the work, they were fast, accurate and respectful of my home and time. I will definetly contact City Renovations for future projects.

I need to have a 4 foot by 4 foot drywall repair completed on my ceiling. I thought I would be able to use 3 of the 1 hour coupons to have the work done - 1st hour to hang / tape / mud the drywall and wait 2 days. 2nd hour to sand the mud and possibly put a second coat of mud and wait 2 days. 3rd hour to sand and prime the repair. Mike answered the phone and let me know it would cost me $720 to perform this repair. The $59 for 1 hour of drywall work only includes a 12 inch by 12 inch repair or smaller. He also seemed resentful of the coupon as refered to the coupon as "Angie getting his money".

I used the Angie's List deal for two hours of electrical service. I knew I had more work than the two hours but I spoke to the owner prior to buying the deal and he said it was fine to keep the electrician there beyond the two hours at their normal rate. That was good because I have used two hour deals before that required you schedule a new appointment for another day if the work goes beyond two hours. City Renovations sent over Fletcher to do the work. He showed up on time and we got started. He basically swapped out most of the old electrical outlets in my apartment and replaced a number of light switches with dimmers. He also replaced two ceiling fixtures. Everything went smoothly and I have no complaints. Fletcher is a good guy and very easy to work with. The owner and project manager also happened to stop by, which is pretty unusual for a small project, so it was nice to talk with them briefly.

Work went well. The Contractor arrived at the site as scheduled and performed admirably working directly with the tenant and only conferring with me as needed. Extensive repairs were required and the estimate was adhered to even after finding special challenges.The contractor left the work area clean and neat. I was very pleased with the work and would highly recommend the Contractor.

The contractor was responsive and professional. The work was done quickly and met the estimate.

Excellent. In addition to the painter mike sent a project manager to oversee work being done. Everything ran smoothly and ceiling looks like new. In addition, to allow paint to dry ,I had them purchase 2outdoor fixtiures with sensors and install in font and back of house. They were a dream to work with and high on my list to be used again I spring for deck repair.

My entire basement was recently flooded. I had a sump pump installed however I had a significant amount of drywall that needed to be replaced. I called these guys for service at approximately 11:30AM (Saturday) and they were onsite within 90 minutes. They were extremely professional and the quality of their work was perfect.

A representative came out to review the work needed. Someone was supposed to perform the work on Thursday of that week. No one showed up and there was no phone call. I'm foggy on dates so I can't give you the exact date of each contact. I contacted the company and the rep. asked me to call him late evening. I forgot to call and I've heard nothing since.

I purchased the windows weatherization service on 1/7/2014, for which I paid by credit card on Angies website ($167- Windows-1051231-1). We scheduled the work to be done in two steps (first a visit to determine where the heat is being lost, and a final visit to actually do the work). On the phone, I was told for the first time that materials (silicone) for the weathering was an extra charge. In any event, the service provider NEVER showed up or called to let me know he would not show up at the appointed time, and the service was NEVER performed. At this point, I feel I need to cancel and get a full refund. Thanks for letting me know how to proceed going forward.

Mike was able to schedule it fairly quickly, and his employees who did the work were efficient and thorough, and they cleaned up the old caulk they removed from the windows, leaving our property clean. I was pleased with the result.

It went okay even thought I was a little disappointed to find out the work could not be done on our home. Mr. Wiggs was very informative and courteous. Other information was offered at the time the contractor came, however we decided we did not want to do any other work at this time. I rated it a B only because we did not have anything done.

City Renovations and Remodeling promptly contacted me about the service I requested. They were polite and thorough. CR & R provided an electrician named Fletcher who was courteous, prompt and efficient. He worked independently and got the job done in the allotted time so there was no additional charge. Fletcher is very professional and obviously knows what he's doing. It was a job well done all around.

I can't tell what work was done because it was outside chalking to windows. The service was done when no one was home so I can't verify that it was done. Mike was very nice when I finally met him but still, the cost was too much and my daughter still does not see a difference in climate change.

I purchased the Big Deal for 2 hours of electrical labor. I was contacted in a timely manner. I needed to have a range hood hardwired. The vendor was unclear as to whether this could be covered under the Big Deal that I had purchased. After several conversations, I decided that this purchase was not working for me. I used another local electrician to do the work for roughly the same price. I think that this vendor does good work. They just need to be more specific about what is covered in their offers. The job that I needed was completed in well under 2 hours and should have easily been covered under the terms of the Big Deal. I have requested a refund.

The contractor provided two painters for a day. They painted the enitre day and worked hard (someone was home as a casual observer). Both rooms are appoximately 11x12 in size. The reason for the B-grade in Quality was that the lines were not as clean as they should be from the wall to the ceiling and/or trim. This issue was not pervasive but yet noticeable in some areas. Coverage was spotty in some areas but that is likely due to the nature of using a darkish color which requires more paint....and these guys indeed worked a full day so it is not an issue with the contractor. I fixed any issues myself, no biggie. The rooms look GREAT!

Everything went well for the most part. He promptly emailed an estimate to me after walking around the house, he showed up on time, and he did a quality job. However, I ended up paying more for the service because I had some windows that were above his height threshold, and I wish that this would have been clearly stipulated in the deal's fine print.

3 hours of basic handyman jobs - hanging shelves.door latch replace,smoke detectors hung etc

They fixed my kit ceiling drywall, primed and painted.i had bought the deal for $139.00 for up to 2hr work. I paid $300+ for add'l painting. They were very carefull placing drop cloths etc. I was exceptionally pleased. Ceiling is perfect.

When he arrived, I had to ask him if he was going to look at the windows. He looked and said that I probably needed new windows. That was the end of the conversation, because I did not intend to purchase windows. I think his advertising is a switch and bait scheme to get people to purchase windows. I feel that if he was going to look at the windows to see if they need caulking, I would not have had to prompt him and ask him if he was going to take a look at the windows.

I contacted the owner and explained that I have a condo in need of drywall repair due to a water leak. He directed me to go to his website and email him the details including my tenant's contact information to schedule estimate. Neither I or my teneant were ever called to schedule the appointment.

Fletcher is awesome. He's highly knowledgable and didnt hesitate to explain exactly what he is doing. Never once did i feel that he was rushing through the job or taking his time in order to charge for additional hours. I received what i paid for and i'm sure, a little more. I will definitely hire this company again. SR

Was estimated much higher than expected, paid less in the past for the same type of drywall work. Company would only honor $100 off the estimated project total whereas, I paid $139 for the Big Deal. More expensive than I am wanting to pay, so will seek out a cheaper alternative.

I called him to set up and appointment. He indicated that he was in a meeting and would call me back, I have never heard from him again. Angies List helper called him on 11/21/2013 and left a message. He has not responded to that call either. I have asked to cancel this request. for service.request.

Paint my ceiling in one spot and one wall in my garage.

Went very well. Reviewed windows in need of winterizing. Once located, immediately corrected. Was neat, and cleaned up. Then I showed several other problems I am experiencing. He immediately analyzed and came up with a plan to correct. Reasonable quote. Very professional and Michael is a nice guy.
