Wow! There's a reason Wooten Appliances gets such great reviews. The track on my pull-out freezer had broken into a million pieces. My DIY "fix" caused even more damage before I called Mr. Wooten. Parts are expensive -- there's no getting around that and that's not something the repair professional can do anything about. But he worked efficiently to keep labor costs down and even came on Christmas Eve to finish the job. He's trustworthy, personable, and reliable. Also, I want to give a special acknowledgement to Stephanie, who handles scheduling. We were trying to get this repair finished during a particularly busy time of year. She really went the extra mile to get the job done. Thank you to everyone at Wooten.

I called yesterday for an appointment and they were able to fit me in today (my request). Darryl came and was FANTASTIC! He clearly explained what was wrong with our dishwasher. Instructed me on preventative techniques. One might think that he lost some future business if I keep up with the "prevention" but make no mistake, something will break in the future and I will be calling this company. It has been a long time since repairman came on time, took time to explain, and gave maintenance suggestions in such a professional manner. AND the window of service was only 2 hours---I'm sold.

Found them on Angie's list and called after hours. I received a call from office staff promptly and they worked with me to accommodate my schedule. They were VERY pleasant and easy to deal with. Neil the service technician was on time, proficient and discovered the problem immediately. In addition he was extremely pleasant and explained exactly what he thought was wrong and how he was going to fix the problem, Many times companies try to take advantage of you when they know you need something like your refrigerator and your in kind of at their mercy. Not this group, they were fast, reasonalble and I would highly recommend them. GREAT JOB.

Wooten had done some work for my husband and some for me; we've had them fix our washing machine. They were more than helpful today. They went out of their way to help me with the Home Depot installation guys. He made sure that my new oven would fit where my old one was. If they're going to be late, they'll call and ask if that's okay.

Stephanie responded to my message in a timely manner. She was polite and complied with my requested date for the technician to come to my house. Neal diagnosed the problem and explained the procedure to complete the repair. The part was ordered promptly and the repair completed in a timely and professional manner, in spite of inclement weather ! Very good experience.

We have used Daryl twice now, once to fix our oven and once to fix our laundry machine. Daryl is super nice and professional and his assistant is great. They have always returned my calls/email requests for service quickly and Daryl shows up at the scheduled time. I would highly recommend to anyone who needs an appliance repaired.

Our 1989 Maytag washer wasn't working after being out of commission during a basement renovation. I had bought fancy, galvanized, flood-proof hoses for the washer in hopes that it would further extend the life of our ancient machine. I called Wooten on a Sunday and left a message. I was called back early Monday morning to schedule an appointment for the next day. Darryl braved a snowstorm to come during our scheduled appointment time. I anticipated a complicated fix or possibly even that the washer wouldn't be fixable due to its age. Darryl noted right away that the hoses have valves that can interfere with water supply. He put regular hoses on and the machine was up and running! Its a shame that I didn't think to try using the old hoses because the visit was a little expensive for such a simple problem; however, Darryl was efficient, professional, and very friendly. I'm so glad I called Wooten and wouldn't hesitate to call them again in the future!

The visit went perfectly. Mr. Wooten arrived within the specified time frame and was professional and polite. He quickly identified the problem and fixed it right away with a part from his truck. He also consulted on best long term care for the dryer. Great experienced! I definitely recommend!

I took several calls to get the vendor to schedule an appointment. It was not possible to address the repair the initial day they came so they had to order a part and return. I had to call repeatedly to status this/ inquire when they planned to return and finally they did in fact make the repair to my microwave (several weeks later). Even though I technically had a 12 month service contract, I did not feel that the initial experience warranted calling them back to my home. I have no complaint with the quality of the work done or the gentleman who performed the repair on-site, but rather with the scheduling process/ customer service portion of the company.

Excellent service starting with first phone call with stephanie, office manager, to arange for appointment. Courteous, helpful, very pleasant. Neal, the technician, arrived as scheduled, and proceeded to take apart dishwasher to get to motor. Determined the problem and fixed dishwasher quickly. He was quick, gave sound advice on questions i had regarding dishwashers.

Darryl showed up promptly and quickly found the issue that was causing my dishwasher to sporadically leak from the front door area, a damaged lower spray arm. Rather than try and milk multiple calls/additional money out of an easy fix, he explained exactly what part I could order myself from the SearsDirect website and how I could install it myself. He went on to explain that due to the age and condition of my dishwasher that future repairs would likely outweigh the cost of a replacement. He was a pleasure to work with and I would not hesitate to call him again for future issues.

He also noticed that the hose was being compressed because of an installment error by someone else so he fixed that too.

WONDERFUL! WONDERFUL! WONDERFUL!

Daryl showed up on-time, listened to the symptoms and got to work. He removed the dishwasher baseboard, started a cycle and said it looked like a leak in the hose. 1/2 hour later, he had the dishwasher fixed by replacing a hose clamp. Last week, I had a plumber out to look at my leak and informed me that it was the dishwasher. I had gotten the diswasher from Sears so I called them for service. They were able to come out that afternoon. After a minute looking at the leak, the repairman told me he would have to replace the pump and total cost would be 389.00. 286 for the pump and then labor. A new dishwasher costs that much so I paid the 79.95, got the part number and thanked him. I looked up the part number on line and it was available for 186.00. I then searched Angie's List - I should have started there first. I was impressed by the reviews of Wooten Appliance, specifically they sought solutions that did not require replacing entire parts or appliances. I did not tell Daryl about the Sears visit until after he repaired the appliance. I echo earlier comments researched - wonderful company, looking out for me the consumer and not for the big price tag repairs. Thank you Daryl for taking the time to show me where the leak and the hose clamp were found and for testing to make sure all was ok. It was a wonderful way to start my day.

Daryl Wooten of Wooten Appliance is an excellent technician. He will continue to be the person I call should my stove need servicing. I cannot thank him enough for his patience through the ordeal of correcting someone's mistakes. When a part was not needed, Mr. Wooten did not use it or charge me. How refreshingly honest. I need to add that his office assistant, Stephanie, was as kind and helpful when I misplaced my invoices. She was always expedient and efficient. Great people to do business with. If every service person, contractor and technician was a Daryl Wooten, all of our home servicing problems would be effortlessly solved.

I called and made an appointment. I described the problems with the washing machine to the assistant who answered the phone. The repair man came as promised, but unfortunately couldn't repair the machine. Instead he told my husband we needed to get an authorized repair service. He charged us half of what it was supposed to cost. But next time I would appreciate being told that we need an authorized repair service when I was making the appointment, it would have saved us all time and money. We did get an authorized service, they were quick and the man knew exactly what he was doing.

Darryl and Neil were prompt and professional. They were able to fix both issues with my dryer within an hour. They had one part that was needed with them, so no future appointment was needed. Darryl indicated that the squeaking might require a new part (which they had) - but once they opened it up, they determined it only needed lubricating and he said it was in great shape. I felt I could really trust these guys. He was upfront about any additional costs over the standard service fee - which turned out to be quite minimal. I would absolutely call Wooten in the future!

I echo the rave reviews about this appliance service! Excellent, prompt, reasonable, good old-fashioned honest service!

He is obviously very busy. We waited a week for the repair and well worth it (we could have paid more for an emergency repair, but the problem was not severe enough to do that). Called the day before as promised to state time of appt. Got here promptly. He was very professional and shared everything he was doing so that if I have a future problem, I can repair myself. I thought the charge was VERY reasonable. I could not be more pleased!
