The cleaning of the dryer vent probably saved us a dryer fire as the lint was heavy as I have never cleaned the inside of our dryer. This alone was worth the fee....I am impressed by the professionalism and detailed work that Daryl provided. He is a real asset to your company.

Found source of Dishwasher leak. Then he showed me how to install a new one. He did not have new seal on truck but said he would call me with part number. Then I could either pay him to install it or order part myself and install it. Wooten was very professional and nice to deal with.

He was running a little late but I was called early by the company to inform me and asked if this was ok. Gave me an estimated time to arrive and did arrive at the time stated. The person was very professional, happy and capable. Explained what he was doing and didn't mind questions.

Excellent to work with. Moved refrigerator and let me clean behind (probably had not been cleaned in ten years!) Showed me how to keep disposal blades sharp -- at no cost!

Scheduling the appt was easy with the help of Stephanie, the Office Manager. Per my request she called me one hour in advance of my appt to let me know when the technician would arrive. Darryl,the tech arrived on time, his appearance was neat and professional. He introduced himself and explained what he would be doing. He was very courteous and professional in his demeanor and work. He found an issue with the refrigerator and corrected it and gave us information on how to maintain the refrigerator. Actually he gave us information on how to take care of all of our kitchen and laundry appliances in order to keep them working properly. He gave us information about an occasional problem with the washer (touch pad panel begining to go bad) and how much it would cost to fix it. He checked everything according to the coupon and found some lint build up in the dryer which he vacuumed out. I was impressed with his work and would definitely hire his company again.

Wooten was very responsive in ordering the part and arranging for its installation. The repair technician arrived on time, and promptly and professionally made the repair.

The technician was very personable and quickly diagnosed the problem as a broken agitator part. He replaced it and did a check of the washer's function. He also gave us a tip on stopping the leak from an upright freezer when we queried him about it.

The technician found the temperature was fine. It was fine. No issues

Scheduling was great - we called and left a message. They called back within an hour and scheduled an appointment for the next day. The tech was on time and was very quick. Everything was fine.

The description of service said "tune-up" for appliance. The actual actions taken were running the appliances to see if they worked. I know which appliances worked or not. I was disappointed in the service because I was expecting a "tune-up" not a run and see if it worked. I knew I would not get repaired for that amount of money ($200 value) but at least a better cleaning of what they did would have been nice.

We bought our house in August 2013, and it came with a 2005 or 2006 Maytag Neptune washer. Six months later, in February 2014, the washer stopped working a couple minutes into each wash cycle, displaying an "E3" error code. I called Wooten to ask them to come look into the issue and fix the washer. The person I spoke to was very nice and set up an appointment for the next day, but didn't ask any details about the washer model, the issue, or the space. The repairman came the next day (a Wednesday). When he arrived he saw that our washer and dryer are stacked in a narrow closet with the washer on the bottom, and he couldn't take the dryer down himself. He said he'd have to come back with a colleague. He didn't charge me for the visit, but they couldn't come back for several days because of inclement weather. He and another repairman came back the following Monday and did a thorough check of the possible problems, determining that the washer's "board" (motion sensor and control board kit) needed to be replaced. They had to order the part, so couldn't fix it that day. They charged $160 for that diagnostic visit. They weren't sure how much the board would cost, but one looked it up online and said he found it for $280. They came back that Thursday to replace the part. Total cost was $460 ($314 for the part, $120 for labor, $26 for tax). *After* replacing the part, one of the repairmen told my wife that the washer's board had already been replaced once before. Everyone was very nice and the work was done quickly and well. Reasons for the lower grades: * It seems like the scheduling person should have asked more questions initially to find out if it would be a one- or two-person job, ask about the washer model and issue, etc. That might have saved some time. * It's not right that the repairman failed to tell us on the second visit that the board had already been replaced once. If we had known the part had broken twice in 10 years, we might have opted to replace the washer rather than fix it. Or we might have decided to still fix the washer ? but we would have done so knowing that Wooten was forthright and looking out for their customers first. Instead, we feel like Wooten was thinking first about making money off of us, rather than trying to earn our trust and gain a long-term customer. * If the part did indeed cost $280 online (potentially less at cost for Wooten), $314 seems like a pretty big markup.

As I am currently overseas I thought that working with an Angie's List recommendation was wise. Wooten had a very difficult time understanding what I needed, took several days to sort out and by the end they advised I not use the offer and go another route. Not the sharpest service but overall they were helpful and upfront.

They were fine. They were prompt and diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly.

He did so much - checked our washer and dryer, the dishwasher, the garbage disposal. He spent a lot of time cleaning the dishwasher filter. He clearly knows a lot about appliances, he is professional and courteous, and I will definitely be working with him again for all my appliance needs.

The fridge wasn't cooling. I emailed and set up an appointment and they were supposed to come between 10 and 2. The guy was late but he did call to let us know. Another tech had an emergency and our tech had to pick up his calls. No sweat. Our guy, Neil, came out and he was super cool. Very professional and ready to get me fixed up. He had the problem diagnosed in about 10 minutes, had the part that was needed (controller board) and installed it very quickly. He then turned the fridge on and confirmed it was working within a few minutes. Cost me $315 total. $99 for the service charge, $50 for labor and the rest was the controller board and tax, etc. It's better than a new fridge and I was glad he got it working. The $99 service charge does suck but I have some peace of mind that it was working. He only charged me $50 labor to install the board, which I honestly could have done myself. Overall, the experience was positive. I really needed my fridge working again and Neil was great once we got him there. They did end up coming our pretty quickly, considering I only set the appointment up the day before AND on a holiday. The email interaction with the schedulers the day prior went well too, and they responded to all my inquiries very quickly. Would use again.

They were professional and courteous, I called and left a message and they called me back shortly. They then told me they don't service the kind of machines we have.

My appointment was between 1p-5p, but due to other appointments he did not come until after 7:30p. This was fine with me, but he was very apologetic and gracious for my patience. I would certainly use his services in the future should the need arise.

They were okay. They were also available for appointments within a day or two of calling them.

Stove is working fine now. He had a minimum charge which i thought was very high for the service provided. Great service but charge to high. Will use them again in the future.

Called due to a smoking dryer. Mr. Wooten came out the same day which was a big help. He was thorough in confirming all the elements of the dryer were in a safe working order and there was not a buildup of lint. Assessed the problem was with a clogged vent to the exterior. I was disappointed that he doesn't do vent cleaning as other reviews made it sound like that was a service provided but that was my fault for not asking up front. Also asked to to look at a leaking dishwasher assuming the seal needed to be replaced. He inspected and said the seal was fine but found a submerged filter that had become mostly clogged and also re-seated and leveled the dishwasher which was not installed very well by the builder. He was very informative, knowledgeable and courteous. Would recommend and use again.

Repairman arrived within expected time block and was very courteous and professional. He diagnosed the problem promptly and repaired it. He then completely cleaned out the system. He also provided me with good advice as to proper usage going forward.

Daryl Wooten was on-time, extremely knowledgeable and very polite. He did a major fix on our dryer a year and a half ago, and then a minor fix on our washer this week. Very happy repeat customer here. Things really don't last like they used to, so I am very happy to have Wooten Appliance to call on when things start breaking (this washer and dryer are only 7 years old!)

dishwasher was leaking; called Wooten--very responsive & helpful on phone (re: age, was i worth repairing, etc); came out, said he thought tigtening the door would fix it--altho was warped; did that took time to evaluate why it wasn't cleaning well & gave me advice; all for the "visit" charge also looked at under-counter oven & was honest about the repair (as in not worth getting a new control panel) a real find

Arrived in a timely manner. Professional. Checked washing machine and determined that the problem may cost over $300.00 in parts to repair then advised looking into replacement rather than repair. Then worked on the dish washer and was able to have it functioning with in a very short time.
