They were able to accurately identify the real problem that I was having with my dishwasher causing it to leak when other service providers failed to do so (it was related to the soap that I was using and not the dishwasher). It's been 3 months and have not had any more problems since I switched soaps.

He arrived on time, was very cordial and complimentary as to how I keep my appliances clean. He took off pieces of the dryer part of the Maytag all-in-one laundry machine so he could clean around the lint filter (nothing there as I clean the lint filter with every load). He checked the washing part and said what I thought was excessive vibration on the spin cycle was normal. Previously, I'd experienced uneven spin and wet clothes, but this problem didn't show up then (or since). The only two things I had a big problem with - found after he left: without asking, he'd put a large company sticker on the front of my beautiful laundry center over another label which had made it look new (his label took a long time to get off and took with it the other label); and the invoice he left for me was for another person's job. Other than that, I'd definitely have him back - as those things are easy to correct. He did a good, thorough job.

Very hard to contact. They want you to use their website, but then do not respond quickly. Hard to get anyone by phone.

The technician showed up within 3 minutes of when he said he'd be there. They were so booked that it was 7:00 PM when I had my appointment. They squeezed me in within about 24 hours of when I called. Very, very responsive. He diagnosed the problem within 5 minutes but didn't have the part on hand. I would have been surprised if he had. This was just before Thanksgiving. He came back the next Saturday(!) with the part and replaced it very quickly. With all the connections and me talking all the time he managed to miss a connection that was out of sight that had fallen off (he had not had to do anything with it as part of the repair). When we used the dryer we discovered the issue. Upon notification he was back, found the connection and reconnected it. This took less than 30 minutes I'd estimate for the final fix. The whole time he was cheerful and never complained about anything. I will use this company for all my appliance service needs from now on. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

They were very responsive and professional, but did not service our brand of appliance.

Just the usual Angie's List garbage 'deal' where they don't actually do anything and bury all of the costs in the fine print.

The project went great! It was really fast and easy, it was a simple solution and we did not have to pay for more than the deal cost us.

We were hoping the tune-up would fix our Frigidaire refrigerator that was not cooling very well and he performed a quick diagnosis. From the information, we decided to upgrade the refrigerator but they were good about tracking down the part that would have been needed for the repair. Scheduling was pretty easy and they were on-time. They technician went above and beyond and was punctual, professional and on-time for the appointment.

Company was not able to get work done within required time frame. Also, did not call when they said they would, I had to reach out to them,

Mr Wooten was great. Will call him again when needed. Fixed our leaking frig and explained in detail what was wrong. Even let my 4 year old "help".

Company informed us that they do not service our LG appliance.

He was very friendly and knowledgeable about how to maintain kitchen appliances and even helped me clean out the trash behind my refrigerator. He was able to figure out why my dryer kept making noise and fixed it at a reasonable price.

For the most part everything went well. However they were overwhelmed with calls and did not check their Angie's list customers until late in the day... I don't fault the company at all. Between the weather and timing I needed to find someone who would make a call...

The first appointment was a good start. Daryl called well within the arranged time to say he would arrive in 20 minutes. He was friendly and professional. The inner oven glass had cracked so I knew it was a replacement but was very relieved to hear it was just the glass and not the whole door. He tightened up the hinge on the door so it was a tighter fit. Daryl returned a week or so later, again calling in advance. He took off the door and placed it on a large quilted cover to protect the floor from any glass and insulating material that might come loose. Put in the replacement - making sure to clean it so any fingerprints or marks were wiped away! One of the lights did not work so he put in a new 40w bulb and fixed that issue too This was a good experience. They kept in touch regarding ordering the part and Daryl did a great job of doing the repair efficiently and with a smile. Wooten Appliance now has a customer who is very happy to recommend them

Both the company and I couldn't come to an agreement on a schedule date. I thought they were in my service area. They were prompt.

I didn't have any issues with the company as they were professional and responsive. However, they were unable to service my particular type of unit (Samsung, electrical)

The company doesn't work on mini fridges.

I purchased an Angie's List deal for $159. It included the repair of one large appliance and looking at a second. Scheduling my appointment was a little frustrating at the beginning. I received an email with a suggested date and time. I confirmed via email agreeing to the date and time. Unfortunately, no one came that day. I called and apparently I had gotten lost in the shuffle. Had I received confirmation back from Wooten, my appointment would have actually been confirmed on their end. I rescheduled. Apologies were made regarding the mix up. Daryl arrived during the allotted window and he called as he was on his way. He looked at my dishwasher and it turns out, nothing is wrong with it. I was using too much soap and so with every wash, more and more soap was building up causing a film (soap) on my dishes. I know nothing about appliances and so, had Daryl wanted to charge me for unnecessary repairs, he certainly could have. Next, we looked at my washer and dryer. I had a dryer fire years ago and am very nervous about the vents, etc. Turns out, my dryer vent was completely disconnected from the outside vent; therefore a lot of dust and heat was building up during every cycle. Daryl climbed behind my dryer, reconnected the vent and vacuumed a huge amount of dust. We did a trial dry cycle and smelled something burning. As a result, Daryl basically took my dryer apart to look closely at the heating system. He was EXTREMELY thorough and kind during the entire visit. This ended up being a dirty job (with the excess dust, etc) and Daryl did not complain once. After putting the dryer back together, he looked at my outside vent just to be sure air was circulating properly. I will likely have someone come out to ensure all is working properly. Because the dryer ended up being a bigger job, I was charged an additional $50. I feel that is a fair amount, considering the time he spent and my peace of mind. I have used companies on Angie's List before but I have never written a review. I feel compelled to write this one because Daryl was that kind and professional and thorough; he deserves a thank you and shout out. I have found my new appliance repair company and I won't hesitate calling Wooten in the future. Additionally, I am a female and I was home alone. I felt very safe with Daryl. I filled out the Angie's scheduling form, didn't hear anything. Waited 2 days, called, filled out their online form as stated on their voice mail. Rec'd response on Angie's list asking for my email & phone # (which I'd filled out online), emailed it to them, no response. Waited a day, called in the morning, no answer, left a message. Called again that afternoon, no answer, left a message. I'm requesting a refund.

It went excellent. They were on time and did a great job cleaning up and overall.

Not great, but perhaps not their fault. Turned out the door wasn't closing because of a poor installation. The issue was with the base board which they were unwilling or unable to fix. So we had to remove the baseboard ourselves but they didn't suggest that at the time. We just did it on our own. Then called some other people to re-install it. I will say they were willing to come back when we took care of the baseboard, but we didn't know this was the issue and it was frustrating to take off work and not get it fixed.

My washing machine which about 12 years old was leaking water. I thought it may have been a hole in the hose, The gentleman inspected the machine and found no problems. It must have been a fluke but my mind was at ease. He did say that on older machines things like this happens. He was professional. If or when I need a new machine I will call them again.
