The technician arrived on time. He did the work in a very efficient manner; he was very professional.

It went very well. They diagnosed the problem and determined which parts needed to be ordered on the first visit which was paid for through Angie?s list. Detailed cost estimate was sent to by via email. Part was ordered once I accepted the cost and the return visit was scheduled to install the parts once the parts were in. Technicians showed up once as scheduled and completed the install and both appliances are working fine. They fixed the problem that BGE homes failed to fix twice.

The technician acknowledged that his vacuum equipment was dimensioned for "standard" (smaller than mine) size vents only. When I asked him why he would not proceed to clean the dryer itself, he said that he was not familiar with LG dryers. His boss told him on the phone that they will ask Angie's list to refund me for the service.

very well. purchased through a daily deal and included a review of another appliance. my husband failed to ask the technician to do the inspection for the other appliance. when he called to explain, they graciously offered to send a technician back out to do it, free of charge.

My dryer was in good shape, so there was not a lot for him to do. Can't complain about anything - he was prompt and did the job paid for.

I went for the Angies' List special of $160 to repair one appliance and diagnose one other appliance because I had a microwave that stopped working and an older range that needed a part. Technician diagnosed two problems with microwave and replaced one part on first visit but didn't have second part which had to be obtained from office. He also said that he would have to call in to see if the older range part was available, which it wasn't, so nothing was done about the range. A second techician was scheduled about a week later to install the second microwave part, which he did and now the microwave works. Although they completed fixing the microwave, I would rate this company low for the following reasons: (1) because the repair took two visits and the company's scheduling limitations it took 3 weeks from the initial call until the microwave was working again; (2) I was charged approximately 2 1/2 time available internet prices for the two parts they replaced; I don't mind paying more for direct service, but their parts cost were not cheap; (3) they performed no service on the range, other than telling me the needed part for the 20 year old range was no longer available, which is not surprising, but a little effort to try and locate the discontinued part might have been able to locate the needed part, which I am now doing myself; as a result, I basically paid $220 ($160 for the service visit and $60 for parts) to fix the microwave, which is not much less than a new one of these microwaves retails for.

Take off the panel to the dishwasher and test the wires. 5 minutes of work....$ 139.00 p***** away.

The service tech from Wooten Appliance was professional and prompt. They came out to evaluate the problem with our dishwasher and determined a new pump or pump controller was required. They were able to order the parts and return to finish the repair within a week. They delivered great service and were extremely pleasant to interact with during the scheduling and repair process.

The office personnel were extremely helpful in my attempts to schedule and reschedule this service. My husband was in the hospital at the time and I had to cancel several times. They have always gone the second mile to help with scheduling. The serviceman was as always prompt, efficient, friendly and courteous. He did a thorough job and cleaned up after himself, as i would expect from one of Wooten's servicemen.

Tech was on time, and did a good job of cleaning out a clogged dishwasher drain. Very careful and professional. Also checked the performance of our fridge, and had some accurate advice on some problems we were having with it as well.

Wooten receives high marks for responsiveness and customer service. The repairman made 3 trips to my home and on the first visit he tried a quick and easy way to fix the problem. It didn't work. On the second visit to the home he realized the quick and easy fix wasn't going to solve the problem and he needed to order a part. On the third visit the part was installed and the problem solved. So, while the repair was eventually made, I give a lower grade for the overall encounter. Primarily because I thought the repairman had tested the washer after the first repair to assure the machine was working, but obviously he didn't. On our first use after that visit we discovered the machine did not work. My second mark-down comes as a result of an office snafu. When the repairman came on the third visit after acquiring the part, it was at that time that we were notified of the cost of the part. This should have been done by the office when they called to schedule the third visit. That way I would have had an opportunity to determine if I wanted to move forward at that time or not. Small issues that just put a sour touch on the experience.

We had a problem with our dryer ? it was making a squeaking noise that I thought might have been related to a worn part ? so we went with the $159 for the appliance repair with a second appliance check. It turned out the repair on the dryer was simple, and it was expertly done. The second appliance check, for an aging refrigerator, was rather perfunctory, but I had no problems with the refrigerator and the person from Wooten saw no obvious problem, so I did not press further. The service person conducted himself in a professional manner.

Daryl ran a couple of small loads through the spin cycle and found the problem with the self leveling rear legs and showed us how to set and reset them. The entire visit took less than 20 minutes.

I bought a coupon for repairs on an appliance from Wooten. They originally scheduled the service on Wednesday May 13th and I was told they would give me a window the day before. Then I got a call saying they were too busy so had to re-schedule which they did for Friday, May 15th. On the 14th they left a message staying that the repair person was going to be here between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm. At about 2:30 pm I got a call from the repair person saying he was running late but he would try to work me in immediately after he was finished with his current job. At 3:43 (cell phone time stamp), he called to tell me he would be here in twenty minutes. At 4:30 he had still not shown up so I just called an cancelled the job. What particularly irks me is the them trying to string me a long. At 3:40 I'm told he's going to be here in 'twenty' minutes. Well, at 4:30, fifty minutes later there's still no sign of them...just tell me that they can't make it and stop wasting my time.

Provider came and performed service. Described what he was doing and how it helped. Nice guy.

I purchased a big deal for repair, but didn't end up needing anything repaired. The gentleman was nice and didn't try to take advantage of me and will use them in the future,

My dishwasher had blown a fuse and stopped working. After seeing the "Big Deal" on Angie's List, I contacted Wooten Appliance because they had done a great job repairing my dryer last year. I contacted them on Friday, 5/8 and after repeated attempts, they responded on Monday, 5/11. They said that they had just installed a new phone system and was having difficulty with receiving their messages. Although I understood this, I still do not understand why they could not have responded to my email via Angie's List, so this is the reason for the lower score in responsiveness. Nevertheless, once they contacted me they were able to send Darryl, the technician out the next day. He had repaired my dryer, so I was glad to see him. Darryl was pleasant and courteous. The problem was faulty wiring, which he fixed quickly and easily. I would definetly recommend Wooten Appliance again. As a matter of fact, I am going to use them for a "Big Deal" special to clean my dryer and dryer vent.

The technician was prompt, polite, and efficient. The broken part was diagnosed in a matter of minutes, the replacement part was ordered and arrived quickly and installed the next day. Overall a very positive experience.

I scheduled an appointment for a time I was available and purchased a coupon through Angie's List. The technician came on the appointed day, took one look at my dishwasher and said, "probably be cheaper to repair it than replace it. Can I use your bathroom?" When he came back he had determined that the heater coil needed to be replaced but they don't stock that piece and he'd have to come back next week. (I had already looked up the price and availability of the part on Sears.com and researched how to replace it myself. I told the company what the cause of the problem was before scheduling the appointment and they still couldn't show up with the part. Plus, the cost of the part they charged me was $20 more than it was online.) Well, they only schedule in 5 hour windows and wouldn't be in my area for another week so they scheduled my appointment for the following Tuesday. I requested a time after 3 pm and was told they'd "put it on the technician's sheet but couldn't guarantee that time." Lastly, when the technician was finished he informed me I had to pay an extra $60 dollars for the part and that the coupon only covered the service. He requested I pay by check and was unable to take a credit card. I received no itemized bill but I can only assume it costs $139 dollars an hour since the technician was only with me for about 30 minutes and probably rounded up.
