Dryer had to be moved out from wall to complete work. That was done, and dryer vent was cleaned out, replaced, and dryer moved back in. The work was done quickly and professionally.

It got the $69 deal from Angie's List. Great company... very good response time. The technician did a great job.

We are very pleased with Wooten and plan to use them again for other appliance repairs. They get an 'A' all around.

I used Angie's List Big Deal at $139 believing only 1 hose needed replacement. Wooton brought that hose on first visit, had to make a second visit with the 2d hose, and only then discovered that a 3d hose was also faulty. That required a 3d trip. The Big Deal included only 2 trips, but Wooton did not charge for the third trip. Wooton also replaced some broken sheet metal fasteners on the washer at no charge. Neal handled the 1st visit, Cody the second two visits. Both were courteous and careful, and explained what they were doing. The extra charges above the Big Deal price were for the replacement hoses. I thought those charges were fair. I have used Wooton before and would use them again.

It took 2 days to even get a call back for scheduling: NOT acceptable. It took a total of 8 days before a technician came out to look at my non-functioning range, because I was only available in mornings and apparently they only had technicians available in afternoons. If I hadn't bought an Angie's List deal, I would have gone elsewhere as soon as I didn't get a call back within 24 hours. I will never buy an Angie's List deal for this kind of thing again!

There was a lot of trouble scheduling it. We had a mix up as far as the scheduling, I don't know whose fault it was. At first they said they didn't service our area, it was really kind of crazy. Once they came, it was fine but there were some issues in the beginning. They did not charge more than the Big Deal price. I'm sure we paid more than we needed to because it didn't really take very long, but the price was okay.

Came within 90 minutes of my call, took no more than five minutes to solve the problem and charged much less than other repairmen in the area.

It worked out excellent! He is a nice guy and also professional. He is also pleasant to deal with.

Good. Cleared out vent...could have given me opportunity to clean floor behind dryer while he had it pulled out from wall though :)

AOK - washer problem quickly determined and resolved. Very complete check of both appliances.

Technician indicated that the bearing was burned out in the machine. (Machine was about 12 years old.) He recommended getting a new machine as the cost of repair would amount to at least that much money. Based on his advice I purchased a new machine soon thereafter, making sure to avoid all the high tech digital option machines on the market. Technician warned that these often were troublesome.

He was quick and effient, cleaned up after himself. Arrived on time.

Dryer stopped turning a couple of weeks ago - when I discovered my regular repair guy was out of town, I got on Angie's List and decided to call Wooten Appliances. We made an appointment for Thursday 2 July and I purchased a coupon for a large appliance repair. All communication was done in email which I prefer. I provided the make and model number, as well as the symptoms. I did not diagnose myself. Neal came during the agreed-upon time slot - called first - took one look at the dryer and determined it was the belt and pulley - I thought "great - fast repair" but then was told he would have to order the part and then come back. I was certainly puzzled (since this is a pretty common failure on dryers) and upset that we'd have to have another appointment. After Neal left, I called the office to complain that we could not get this repair done in one visit. I was told they always do a diagnostic visit, since they only want to order parts that are needed. While I understand that, I felt I had provided enough information that they should have had the part - just about everyone else to whom I'd described the symptoms said it was probably the belt. The next challenge was the next appointment, which we scheduled for yesterday 9 July. I needed the AM slot since I had a doctor's appointment in the early afternoon. They simply would not guarantee that. And in fact, they scheduled me for the afternoon, so I had to cancel my doctor's appointment. Neal did come pretty early in the timeslot, and completed the job in less than an hour. Paid the difference with a check and was told I would get a receipt in email. I did, but all it said was that I paid them $82 by check - no itemization. So I had to go back to them to ask for that. I did get an itemized receipt. But I discovered this AM that the vent was not reconnected to the dryer. Ugh. Neal was on time both times, and he was very professional. He also gets major props for agreeing to come into the house with our new and very protective dog just on a leash (not shut away), as we are training this very bad behavior out of her. So thanks to him for that. The office staff was polite the entire time I was registering my complaint. But their business model surprised me - they'd rather tie up a technician with two visits than stock some commonly failing parts. and they'd rather get a bad review on Angie's List than accommodate my scheduling issues. Too rigid, and too hard to deal with.

It went fine. Simple process.

They were easy to contact and pricing was good. We bought an Angie's List Deal. They fixed everything easily and were fine to deal with. I'd easily recommend them except that they took a week and a half to send out a repair person and then a week for parts to come in and they only send repair people to DC some days of the week. Good service but waiting 2.5 weeks for a freezer and washing machine to get fixed is pretty slow.

It was fine; the gentleman was very professional and discussed repair or replacement options.

It turned out my washing machine was too old to get replacement parts for so they could not get it running for me again. However, the tech couldn't have been any nicer and there was no charge for his time.

The applicance is not repaired. I was very displeased with this whole process.

The tech sent to do the cleaning of our vent and dryer was well mannered and polite. We never had our dryer vents cleaned before and had no idea of where the outside vent was located. The tech found it under the deck! Not a very nice place to have to craw under. He worked fast, but efficient and we will use this service again in the future.

Daryl did a great job replacing the hoses and making sure the washer passed diagnostics. I am VERY HAPPY to have a washing machine that works properly! Hallelujah!!

Wooten contacted me to ask what type of appliance needed service even though I noted it when buying their $159 Big Deal and requesting an appointment. They told me they were scheduling appointments five days out, but provided no further specifics of communications. The failed to respond to multiple emails and voicemail messages so I could set an appointment time. This is a poor level of customer service, especially to a repeat customer. I cannot recommend them any longer.

The service person who came was on time and very courteous. He noticed that we didn't wear shoes in the house and immediately began taking off his shoes without being asked. After looking at the refrigerator for a few minutes, he took his time and explained to us what the issue was, and what could be causing it to not remain cold. He also explained the process that he uses to troubleshoot a situation such as ours. Turns out that we didnt, need any repairs done at all! We did however miss the first appoitment date scheduled for the previous friday because they were overbooked and could not keep the appointment. The customert service associate called and was very apologetic and immediately scheduled us for their first availabel time on the very next business day. We understand that sometimes things happen, so their being up-front and addressing the problem immediately gave us assurance that they cared about their business reputation. Wonderful experience!!

I bought a deal for $159 but paid extra for a control board for our oven, which was an additional $311.34.
