Had no issues. They were on time, fast and did a great job.

I learned of this vendor via an Angie's List Big Deal. After several messages via Angie's message board, Wooten finally said that it only services Howard County on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I received a 10-12 arrival window. Cody arrived on time. He checked all the major appliances: refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and microwave. (I already knew that my automatic ice maker and garbage disposal were broken.) Cody vacuumed the refrigerator coils and tightened a screw on the detachable panel that hides the under unit drip pan. He tested the oven and all stove coils and inspected the dishwasher (kindly explaining how to remove bottom gunk by running a cycle with a cup of vinegar). The three most interesting findings: -- Kenmore no longer makes the ice maker so it couldn't be replaced even if I wanted to. -- The under sink plumbing would require major rework to accommodate a new garbage disposal. -- My countertop microwave emitted radiation. (Later, another knowledgeable party said that as long as the radiation remained within the monitor's green area, the unit operated within FDA guidelines.) As most appliances are 30 years old, it was great to be evaluated such a reasonable price.

The technician arrived on time, and performed all the services included in the $99 appliance tune-up offer. I appreciated that he explained to me what he did, and took the time to show me some periodic maintenance that I can do on my own to keep the appliances running well.

My oven/range was leaking gas and my refrigerator was having intermittent electrical problems. The AngiesList deal I bought was for Wooten Appliance to repair one appliance (the oven) and diagnose another (the fridge). Wooten Appliance was recommended both on Angie's and Yelp, with specific kudos to "Daryl." I don't know what position Daryl holds in the company, but he was the tech who came out to my house to do the job. The job didn't go as smoothly as I would have hoped. The fix was delayed twice; first because of a mixup on the manufacturer's part (Wooten ordered the right parts but received the wrong parts from GE). Then, there was a mixup on Wooten's part where the correct part was said to have arrived but had not, in fact, arrived. It was not discovered until the day of the service visit. Each of these errors cost me a day's leave from work. The first problem was GE's fault, not Wooten's. The second problem was a communication gap within Wooten. Although I was certainly not thrilled with the delays these errors caused, I was very impressed with the way Wooten handled themselves on a customer service level in both instances; explaining and owning up to their error, and so forth. Daryl was nothing less than 100% professional. When the parts were finally sorted out and in hand, Daryl repaired the appliance expertly and my gas leak was fixed. (Note - the gas leak was not an issue during the interim - we shut off the gas to the appliance during that time). As for the fridge, the problem was that the ice maker/water dispenser was malfunctioning every now and then. Of course, it worked without incident during Daryl's service visits, so he couldn't find the source of the problem. If it's working, he wouldn't know what to fix. A few days following his last service visit for the oven, the fridge problem (of course) presented again, this time not intermittently, but permanently. The entire dispenser panel shut down. No lights, no function, no water, no ice. I contacted Daryl and asked for his help. I'm a DIY-type guy and have a comfort level with fixing appliances, so he walked me through what to do. Over a period of days as I ordered parts and installed them myself, I texted him for guidance and he responded quickly, offering useful advice. With his help, I found the problem and fixed it. I could not have done it without his consult, for which he charged me nothing. Problems happen and the measure of a good company is not whether problems happen, but how they handle the problems. Wooten distinguished themselves in this regard and, because of that, I'll definitely be calling them again the next time something breaks!

We got a 'big deal' on getting one appliance checked and another repaired. He fixed our dishwasher in about 10 minutes (I felt pretty silly he was able to fix it so fast & well!) and he also diagnosed the problem with our fridge & popped a part into place which fixed the issue as well. Very happy!

It went fine, no problems.I have used Wooten before and will use them again.

The technician arrived to initial appointment more than an hour late just to diagnose what I already knew: my washer was broken. The technician told me that in order to fix it, he would have to replace one of three major components, none of which he had with him. I called back to schedule a follow-up appointment, but I had to wait a week for the next available appointment. The follow-up appointment took more than an hour with two technicians and they had to replace two high-dollar parts despite the fact I was told it would only take one.

The tech was so nice! He was on time, helpful, friendly, professional. I think it is a family owned business, which is even better IMO. Would definitely contact Wooten again -- in fact, I asked him for stickers with contact info, and now every one of our appliances has a sticker on it.

Darryl came out, and is just amazing.

Daryl is on time and efficient. He fixed my freezer due to icing up. I also learn from him so I can do things before I have to call him. I have used Daryl in the past from changing a lightbulb in my microwave and change out my Viking ignitor on my stove. I recommend Wooten Appliance if you ever need any appliance fixed.

We've had problems with the material that goes on the edge, basically keeps the water inside and keeps the water suction closed. We've had problems with it in the past year. I recall that was part of the repair and there was an issue. I'd probably give them a B or B minus. I feel like the responsiveness was fine. I'm not really sure of the repair. I don't recall the last interaction. I don't recall it being anything but professional.

I get the other reviews now - this is a strange business model where you pay for the "diagnostic" and then they give you an estimate for how much it is going to cost to actually come back and fix the appliance. I am sure there is some appliance repair logic but not only does it mean that you have to reorganize your life twice for a repair, you are essentially paying for the estimate which is something that you can avoid doing in the day and age with so many companies not charging for the estimate. I really wanted to like them and as owners of several properties, we were hoping to find that amazing company that we can call for a variety of appliances but I am not comfortable with asking tenants to be home for someone to come by for 15 mins to confirm what we already know and charge us - even if it was discounted - $139 for it. They were very nice and very apologetic but we decided to use another company that doesn't use this business model.

I contacted to appliance repair companies Monday Oct 26, 2015 to see if they could come out and provide a diagnostic on my washer. The spin function did not work. Although Wooten contacted me in about 1.5 hours after my initial call I already scheduled the other company to come to the house and look at the machine. The first contractor said that the motor was bad and it would cost 500 to fix. I then call Wooten back again to get a second opinion. I informed the repair person Daryl of what the other technician said. Daryl then told me instead of him coming to the house an me having to give him $99 dollars to show up, he would try to help me over the phone. He asked me to send him pictures of the machine, then to run a couple of quick tests. He determined from the age of the machine, the sound it was making and how the machine responded to the tests that the transmission was bad. He confirmed the first technicians recommendation that it's probably better to get a new machine because the cost to repair would be equal and with the age of the machine, I may have to do other repairs down the road. Daryl was very professional, and would not accept any payment for the diagnostic. He just asked if I was pleased with his service to write a recommendation on Angie's list. As a side note, I forgot a had a home warranty plan and the repair man came to my house on Wednesday Oct 28th, he confirmed that it was the transmission and again it was time for a new machine. I would recommend Wooten appliance to anyone. I reviewed their page and the other reviews on Angie's list and the company has a great reputation.

This was above and beyond the best service experience. Neal was the technician and he was very articulate in identifying the problem & fixing it. He seemed very knowledgeable & I felt confident in his ability to get the job done. It stated that the problem was unusual but he pinpointed it. He showed me exactly where the problem was. Very professional. My refrigerator was out for about a week. The customer service rep was on point with following up with calls & scheduling appointments. Definitely a great experience.

Derick was on time and polite as always. He checked the ice maker and fixed it; cleaned out the overflow ice in the bottom of the freezer, and even went into the basement to help me locate the water cut off valve for the ice maker. This is the second time I have used Wooten and both times I have been extremely pleased with their responsiveness, professionalism, and ease of working with them.

He was prompt and did what he thought was best, but he missed the problem. There is a hole in the drum that we found recently and he missed it. Appliance not repaired and has leaked frequently starting since he serviced it. I'm the owner and I wasn't contacted following the appointment either, to get my opinion on whether the work was satisfactory or not.

On Wednesday the 14th I used Angie's list to request an appointment on 10/16. They called to say they don't work in my area on Fridays, but could come on the 15th between 10 and 2. The technician arrived a little before 2, and found the problem right away and fixed it in less than 30 minutes. Very professional and friendly. This is the second time I've used Wooten with great results, and I expect to call them in future.

I setup the service call on Angie's List on Monday, 10/19/2015, I received a call from Wooten Appliances within 2 hour of my requesting service, to set up a time for the technician come to my home, we made the appointment for Tuesday 10/20/2015, between 9am and 1pm. I received a call from technician on Tuesday at 9:36am letting me know that he would be arriving in about 5 minutes. When he arrived he introduced himself and we proceeded to my kitchen, he looked at the control panel and tried to operate the dishwasher. He removed the control panel from the dishwasher and proceeded to troubleshoot, he first checked the fuse and determined that it was good and then he checked to see if power was being supplied to the controller circuit board and there was no power. He removed the lower fascia panel from the front of the dishwasher to see if he had power from the circuit breaker at that point and discovered that the neutral wire had come lose and he reconnected it and check the control panel for power and it was functioning. My wife told the technician that the dishwasher was not cleaning the way it should, the technician explained that sometimes the filter gets clogged, and he proceeded to disassemble the filter assembly in bottom interior of the dishwasher and found a piece of broken glass, and the piece of glass got wedge in the small impeller and broke it off (the impeller is used to chop up small food particles before it passes through the filter), the filter was clogged and water being pumped out of the dishwasher properly, he went out to his truck got the parts necessary for making the repair and replaced it. The service call took a little over an hour with testing the dishwasher. Daryl is the owner/technician and he is professional, courteous and knowledgeable so I am highly recommending his company Wooten Appliances.

Neal arrived within the agreed upon time window, He was courteous and proceeded to test the dryer. He showed me the problem and repaired it. From start to finish it took about 20 minutes, Thumbs up to Neal! Would used this company again. Thanks, Neal!

Removed a foreign object that was accidentally dropped into the lint filter and found and replaced a leaking valve on a clothes washer and changed aging hoses to prevent future hose failures.

I bought a big deal and it was okay. They came out and did the service. Then I had some work that needed to be done on an older dryer. They told me they were going to find a part and get back to me and never did. The initial deal part was fine; they came and checked everything out, but the follow up wasn't any good.
