 + -1 moreArrived on time, identified the problem fairly quickly and returned 5 days later to install the new parts and fixed the problem. The pump that came with the dishwasher had failed for unknown reasons. The repair guy was both competent and helpful.

 + -1 moreDaryl Wooten is the real deal. Our fridge broke and we were of course in a bind. The first company that came out said the compressor was bad and it would cost over $1000 to replace. Seeking a second opinion, we called Wooten. Daryl came out and spent a lot time diagnosing and fixing the problem. Turns out the compressor was fine but there was a refrigerant/coolant leak in some obscure place. He saved us hundreds of dollars by taking the time to really figure out the issue, and is the most courteous guy as well.

 + -1 moreThe contactor was courteous and very punctual. He inspected all of my appliances. He cleaned around the washer and dryer and made sure that he left each area clean. I asked him about my dishwasher and its timing, which was not part of the package I purchased, he said I could contact his company and they would accommodate me. I would highly recommend Wooten Appliance. They are a family owned business and take pride in the work they do. I will use them again!!

 + -1 moreWooten sent a repair man to my house the day I contacted them. He was clearly knowledgeable, diagnosed the problem quickly, ordered a replacement part (in my case, a circuit board), and scheduled a follow-up to perform the work. While I was able to get same-day service, I don't think that's something they guarantee. They seem to prefer that requests be sent via a web form, though they also take requests via voicemail and through Angie's list if you've purchased a coupon. My voicemail produced the first response, about two hours after I'd left it.

 + -1 moreI felt rushed by the technician who was assigned to our home. He came in and asked about what appliance was defective. He checked the garbage disposal to let us know the switch was bad and the dishwasher was running properly because of missing parts. He didn't check the washer or dryer or the refrigerator. Plus - He did follow up on the parts that i needed to order for the dishwasher.
Description of Work: I needed to have my appliances checked out, so I bought a deal that included - Refrigerator tune-up includes the following services: vacuuming and cleaning behind and underneath your fridge, thorough cleaning of the condensing coil, fan, motor, and drip pan, if necessary; inspecting all connections, motor, fan, thermostat, and fridge accessories (e.g., ice maker, water dispenser, etc.); diagnosing any issues found Dishwasher tune-up includes the following services: inspecting original installation; securing and leveling as needed; cleaning out the food catch and drain line; running cycle of commercial cleaning agent through the machine to remove hard water stains, minerals, and calcium build-up, if necessary Washer and dryer tune-up includes the following services: checking seals and hoses; vacuuming the interior of the dryer (if necessary) to eliminate lint build-up and fire hazards; inspecting all connections, operations, balance, and more; diagnosing any issues while ensuring your laundry machines are operating efficiently and correctly Garbage disposal inspection includes the following services: checking motor and grinder operation; thoroughly cleaning the disposal to eliminate any food build-up and unpleasant odors if necessary.

 + -1 moreTurns out Wooten could not repair an LG appliance so work was not completed. (Not Wooten's fault. Turns out many appliance repair companies can not Work on LG because LG is stingy on who they allow Parts Access) I paid through Angie's List Coupon Special. Wooten told me I had to contact Angie's list directly to get my Refund. I contacted Angie's List, and so far no response from Angie's list.

 + -1 moreSomeone came to do the appliance inspection and found the freezer temp to be too high and left without doing anything else. I had to call them to get the details of the visit because other family members were home, not me during the visit. I learned that they decided not to inspect any of the other appliances until this one issue was addressed. I haven't heard from them since. I am pretty confused about what they expect to happen - the deal was an introductory one and since I feel in the dark am thinking I probably wouldn't hire and they still haven't finished what they set out to do in the first place.

Rhonda called a few days later when the parts came. I like that she gave me the details of the cost of part and labor when she called me to schedule for the next appointment. She also patiently answered my questions. Daryl fixed the cooktop with no issues.

An appointment was made for a few days later and the technician (Darryl) arrived on time. He was professional and friendly, determined the cause quickly, and successfully made the repair. We had looked up the dryer "symptoms" on the internet and the cause was what it described. No attempt was made to sell us more than we needed.

 + -1 moreThe replacement went fine. However, later on I began to experience problems again with my ice-maker. It was making ice sporadically. One day I would have ice and the for 3 days I would not. I called Wooten back again to correct the problem because I felt that I had wasted my money and that they had not fixed the problem. We kept missing each other in trying to make an appointment. In the midst of their busy caseload, I hear my doorbell ring and I see the Wooten Appliance service man who repaired my ice-maker standing at my door. I had been home for another service call and I had mentioned it in passing to Wooten customer service that I would be home and to schedule an appointment. I was totally surprised. The upsetting part was that over the course of about 5 days my ice maker started to work again so when he came it was filled with ice. He just chuckled and took the time to explain to me for about 15 minutes plus what the problem (computer circuitry and power surges affect) was and advised me not to spend additional money for a new refrigerator when the one I had was perfectly fine. They did not charge me for the ice-make re-visit. I am very pleased with this company and have used them for my washer machine.
