It went fine. But it was over one year ago

I have always wanted a spa bathroom. House to Home Solutions made my dreams come true! I have interviewed several contractors before selecting House to Home Solutions. The first time I met Daniel, the owner, he?s confident, honest, and very organize. Their proposal came in higher than other contractors, but Daniel's honest opinions won me over. While other contractors said yes to my visions and ideas, Daniel would politely point out the future problem based on his past experiences. Sometimes it is hard to hear NO, but I rather have all the facts and avoid regrets later. I am so glad I?ve chosen them. Everyone on the team was very professional and punctual. The crew came early to prep the work areas and cleaned up EVERY TIME before they leave. They respected our living space. Their work's quality and efficiency give me the confidence having them work on other projects in my house. I would highly recommend using them.

Our gas fireplace installer recommended House to Home Solutions to us as a contractor he had worked with before and had good experiences with. We were extremely pleased with the work House to Home did for us. They were very professional, had good ideas, and were extremely responsive. They even made recommendations for tile and windows that saved us lots of money! The quality of work and clean-up is top-notch (and we are very picky). I would definitely recommend this company.

Things went pretty smoothly. The workmen were professional and did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves every day. They redid a piece of tile on the floor that I did not like how it fitted. They were willing to do the job to my satisfaction. I was disappointed that the company owner never came by to check the work which was stated in other reviews that conveniences me to try that company.

I did not end up going with this company. The person was prompt and professional who came out to talk with me, but in the end, I went with a less expensive contractor.

They did an exceptional job. The results look and act better than expected. They kept me in the loop every step of the way and used mobile technology to deliver pictures of options when I wasn't physically available. They provided excellent engineering explanations of the impacts of alternatives I waned so that I could intelligently make a choice. They also adjusted the plan so that I would not be without a toilet during replacement. They finished in less time than anticipated. They cleaned up each day and left every part of my residence in good shape. . This was a very very good experience. I'd definitely retain them for future work.

Our sump pump failed during a violent evening downpour (06/27/2015) and rainwater flooded into our basement until it was covered about 2-3" deep with standing water. Over the next two days we used our shopvac and bought two standalone pumps to get as much standing water out as we could, moved our belongings to the raised, dry part of the basement, and moved all our dehumidifiers, plus an extra one we bought, to the carpeted area to try and save the carpet and drywall. By Monday evening (06/29/2015) we realized that there was no way we could save the flooded part of the basement. I researched the issue online and found that homeowners are rarely able to salvage carpet/drywall that has had significant standing water and that to avoid permanent water and mold damage, as well as potentially serious health concerns, it is important to begin remediation very quickly. Tuesday morning (06/30/2015) I consulted Angie's List and found three water damage remediation companies in our area which had good ratings and reviews. The first said we were just out of their service area, so I called companies two and three. Company two said that they would have someone who could assess the situation call me back and strongly urged me to call our insurance company. Since it was water damage I hadn't thought insurance would apply, but they requested that I try to obtain an insurance claim number to proceed. I called our insurance, received a claim number and was told an adjuster would call me as soon as possible. I let company two know I had a number and they said someone would call me to discuss our home repair problem and set up an appointment to take a look. Company three was House to Home Solutions. Their administrative assistant, Jessica, knew the sort of problem we had from my description and assured me that they do many water damage remediation jobs; Jessica told me they frequently work with insurance companies and know how to document and assist. She said Daniel, the company owner, was at a nearby job ending just that day and he would call me back quickly. Daniel called 10 minutes later, said he was almost at our house to take a look and, if applicable, they would just move the giant fans from the current job to our house by the afternoon. He was at the door in a few minutes, took a quick look around, discussed the job with me, and called for the fans. Daniel, Jessica and the rest of the House to Home employees worked with us to remove all the remaining water, damaged carpet and drywall, dry the rooms, replace the drywall, re-hang doors, re-paint, and re-carpet. They worked with the insurance company to document everything properly for the claim and worked with the adjuster to be sure the estimates aligned. They worked out scheduling with a key-holding relative when we had to leave on a pre-planned vacation. They worked around school hours, teen girl sleepovers, and holidays. They were responsive and polite, respectful of the house, and cleaned up after every step of their work. House to Home even added a small ceiling repair we requested to the job for a small fee, since they would have the materials right there in the room. I cannot commend House to Home Solutions enough for their assistance during a really confusing and scary time. They responded promptly to all questions, communicated clearly, and provided a comprehensive estimate to which they adhered. We did not have any issues with any employees, technicians, or delivery subcontractors. At one point, I had to leave the house before our agreed upon finish time for the afternoon and they checked the house and locked up when they left. We not only would contact them for another job, we are planning on calling them to get help with another house repair we have put off for some time because we didn't know who to contact.

The project went very,very well. My husband is an architect and is extremely particular and he enjoyed working with House to Home's staff. The people doing the work were diligent and once the work was started they stayed with the project to completion. They were also pleasant and respected our property. The work did not start until the contractor was sure of a date for the kitchen cabinet arrival. We live in an apartment house and our kitchen is not large, so this presented not only elevator coordination, but storage challenges. The supervisor smartly used our parking space in the garage for cabinet storage and this worked well. Since this is a renovation there were some construction challenges. Tony the supervisor did not take the least expensive method to solve these problems but they we solved in consultation with us and to our satisfaction. They were solving the problems we faced, but did charge additional cost.. This was really appreciated by us. With the contractor during the plumbing, electrical, drywall, flooring installation and cabinet installation, there was little chance of a lack of coordination and finger pointing which we very much liked. I would highly recommend House To home Solutions to anyone doing a renovation.

It went very well. I am an architect so I am very particular about the details and the way things look. there was no leaving for another project after they began they were here from start to finish. their staff and workers were wonderful. We worked very closely with the owners the supervisors. They also were able to do electric and plumbing work so we didn't have to work with others. Since we are working in an apartment house with a smaller work area. they worked very closely with us and was wonderful for my wife and I. They gave us great advice that would work and was best and not necessarily the most expensive. I would highly recommend house to home renovations for anyone's kitchen renovations.

After our initial meeting with the owner, various emails, and telephone calls with him, we then began working with Tony who handled everything for us onsite. I found them to be very efficient and accommodating. If I had any questions or concerns they were quickly dealt with. Our basement was completed ahead of scheduled even with a separate repair we requested completed. We asked Tony to look at the stairs going down into the basement because the 3rd step down felt as if it was shifting when stepped on. Tony identified the problem, spoke with the owner and two options and their respective cost were given to us, we chose which option we wanted and the repair was completed efficiently.

Wonderful! House to Home Solutions is your one stop shop! The work is not done until the customer is satisfied. A must hire.

Townhouse rental I own. The company scheduled with renter. Came and measured one day. Came back after windows were made.and Installed with a full team. Removed everything and installed all in one day on a winter day. Extremely neat, cleaned and went out of their way dealing with my tenent and myself. Had one screen that got damaged that they didn't notice. They stayed late to repair it even when it was well pass the time when most crews would have wanted to go home. I stuck my finger in one of their clauking jobs not realizing it was soft . They fixed that with out getting upset. I have a brother that had a remodeling company, that he is retired from due to medical issues. He was thinking about having windows installed to his home but said how bad a lot of the companies that do window work, their caukling work is terrible. When he inspected the job House to Homes did, he was really impressed. I believe when he gets around to getting his done, he is going to use them himself. I will and am going to use them again on my main house. I have a lot of wood trim that needs work.

I particulary liked the way these two guys worked together. Good communication, with each other and with me. Smart, quick, self-starters, moving right at the task at hand. Great outcome!

House to Home Solutions did a superb/excellent job on our shower problem. Mr. Carrerro and his crew were very professional and were very punctual. Mr. Carrerro assist me to redesign the tile so the color and style can be coordinated in an updated fashion They gutted the whole Master Suite bathroom shower, Jacuzzi, wall tiles and floor tiles They install two niches along the wall They redo all frame work behind the dry wall They found the reason why the shower floor leaked, because the drain was not sealed at all. They installed a exhaust fan/led light to prevent future mold and mildew, which already started to have a water mark that we didn't realize was there. They re tiled the whole bathroom and shower floor They tiled the wall and the floor style like the outside of a brick house and the tile work is super They secured my original Jacuzzi They changed the shower drain They put a wooden support block behind the wall tile so the glass door would be sturdy They replaced the first floor kitchen ceiling dry wall and painted where it was damaged by the leak. They took out trash daily during the days that they worked They make sure the area they worked were secure by using the plastic sheets panel and tape They use cloths to cover the entrance and the stairs They clean up the front yard debris daily Mr. Carrerro and his project manager communicate with their worker daily to make sure the progress is made daily and make sure we all on the same page Mr. Carrerro did a final walk thru to make sure we are happy with the result

Excellent. It was done at the cost and schedule specified. Everyone was professional and friendly. When our delivery by Lumber Liquidators was delayed (not House to Home's fault), Daniel worked with us to re-schedule and was extremely flexible. There were lots of variables that came into play (lumber delivery, loading dock, condo HOA approval, dog-sitting, etc) and Daniel worked thru all of it with us. We will definitely use him again.

John and Richard were the workers.They were great. They are hard workers and work quickly and efficiently. They did a great job. I would definitely use them again.

As always, service was prompt, professional, and the finish was great. I received a call from employee to let me know his estimated arrival time. He was very polite and personable. He took time to explain what the job entailed, before he started. When finished, he again went over the job, and made certain I was entirely satisfied. Yet another great job from House to Home Solutions.

All went well. We purchased the flooring and underlayment. We live in a 10 story condo and a portion of the flooring was delivered earily to our surprise. Always verify the delivery date with the supplier. In our situation There were movers in the delivery area and they moved the shipment to our apartment on the 9th floor. The supplier reimbursed us for the cost to move this shipment. Don't be shy about asking a supplier to make good for their mistakes the flooring because the The owner of the firm visited our apartment prior to the flooring installation and we discussed the direction of the flooring because the rooms were not rectangular. He also suggested a flooring pattern in a small area close to the apartment entry. It worked out very, very well.

We needed to partition our basement into two rooms, with a tight time window available for the job - two weeks from start to finish. Daniel Carrero came out promptly, proactively started measuring and planning while I spoke with an electrician, offered suggestions on wall design, and gave the best bid of three handyman companies. The initial proposal included all the bells and whistles, many of which we decided we didn't need, but they readily readjusted the proposal several times to accommodate us. The workers arrived promptly and were able to work cooperatively with the electricians. Also, they managed to start and finish the job with broom-clean, paint-ready results in two days' time. I have no qualms using their services again.

The reason I chose him over a lower cost quote is because he said he could get it done quickly. However, I kept getting put at the bottom of his list, so it actually took longer than if I would have gone with the cheaper company. The work was fine once they got around to it.

The day of the consultation went well. Debbie came to our home and was on time. She was very friendly and looked at all the areas that we needed work done. She left with a promise to email an estimate over soon. After much back and forth, and a couple of months later, I have yet to receive an estimate from her. I understand if the jobs are too small and not worth the company's time, but I would have preferred that I was told this instead of getting no response.

Complete redo, top to bottom. Changed a tub to a shower, All new fixtures, walls, floor, heating. Cleaned up very well.
