The key would not activate the unlock mechanism. The locksmith drilled through the key slot to access the unlocking mechanism. Even then, the lock would not open. Using various tools and tricks, he managed to get it to open. He said it was the hardest jammed lock he's ever had to open, but he managed to do it! I gave the locksmith a B in professionalism since he smoked on premise and left behind a butt. He could improve in this area. But I'm not complaining because he did get the lock off very quickly.

It was an excellent experience. Very friendly. Very fast. In and out in less than an hour.

We wanted to change the locks on my dad's house after he passed away. So my husband installed a new lock set and we tested it several times to make sure it worked properly after the change, but the next day, when we tried to get in, the door would not budge. We tried everything to get in. No luck. Well, at least we knew the house was secure and robbers wouldn't be getting in either. After checking Angie's List, we called Scott. We weren't in any hurry, so Scott came out the next evening. Scott got us in and we also had him replace the lock set with another new one. Scott also had to suffer from the severe humidity and being eaten alive by mosquitoes while trying to get in the house, and then the heat and humidity of the inside of the house, because the air conditioning was broken. Scott didn't even charge us for putting in the new lock set. He was fantastic. He was on time. Very friendly and very good at his job. No complaints at all.

Looked up providers on Angie's list. He was highly recommended. He was available on short notice, arrived on time and was finished in under 30 minutes. I was very satisfied.

I called to say a deadlock was stuck and Scott made an appt for the same day. When he arrived, he discovered some operator error (mine) in which I just hadn't pulled the door lever up all the way. I really felt stupid but he was so nice, and he didn't even charge me for the call-- wouldn't take payment. I would definitely call him again.

The locksmith returned my call promptly, scheduled an appointment the next day, and performed the requested service of changing all the locks in our new home to a single key. Because the existing locks were not compatible, this involved an extra trip to buy new locks. I was not charged for the time involved in the extra trip, just for the locks themselves, and labor costs. The overall price was very reasonable, and the work was exactly what we wanted. Excellent service with a smile!

I just moved in to my house and accidentally locked myself out. I called the number and he immediately answered. Even though it was Sunday he said he would arrive in 20min. It took him 45min but 1. that was still good and 2. due ot the recent storm several street lights were out and traffic detours in place. He was nice and personable as he quickly got the work done. It took about an hour from the time I called him until he was leaving with me in my house. I would definitely use him again.

He gave an estimate over the phone that was within our budget for the project. He came to our house knowing that he would be installing two deadbolts in two doors that were going to requiring drilling. With all the equipment he brought in to our home he did not bring a simple inexpensive drop cloth, he just began drilling with drill bits and wood chips falling all over my hardwood floor and patio outside. He was seen trying to clean up with the packaging the deadbolt came in. I brought my vacuum in to the room and started cleaning myself. He explained he used to use a portable vacuum, but they would quickly die. The messes could have been completely avoided had he put down an inexpensive drop cloth!! Instead I had to vacuum and human and pets were tracking in and out wood chips for weeks after installation. One lock was done very well and we are very happy with it. The other was not properly lined up, so you have to lock the deadbolt and then lean on the door to engage the latch. As for the bill... the estimate given over the phone neglected to include the labor fee for drilling and installing the deadbolt (in addition to the service call fee). Then when I asked that all the locks be keyed to an existing key, he did not tell me it would cost $18 for each lock. Those two neglectful items added $162 to the final bill.

We tried to do the work on our own and got a part of the deadbolt stuck. This led to us calling Scott. He removed what we had stuck and then replaced all nine locks and rekeyed them. He did a great job. He was very professional and courteous. He also cleaned up afterwards. I highly recommend him.

We called them the night before so it was fantastic that they were able to come out the next morning. He arrived right on time and had all the tools he needed. The job didn't take long and he was very professional and knew what he was doing.

I have three doors all with Qwikset knob and deadbolt locks. One of the deadbolt locks failed, so I purchased a new Qwikset self-keying lock and installed it and my problem began. I could no longer get one key to unlock all of the locks (which were keyed the same). I looked up Scott on Angies List (He happened to be close to my home and offered a coupon). Scott set up an appointment the next day, called before coming and arrived on time. He told me that the lock I had purchased was an excellent choice and was surprised with my keying problem. He proceed to diagnose it and make me 6 new keys. While he was here he noted that the key orientation on the knobs was upside down, (An inconvenience that we had lived with for years), and said he could fix this at $5.00/lock (or $15.00) total. He also noted that one of the latch assemblies was failing and replaced that for $10.00. Then he proceeded to clean and lubricate all six of my qwikset locks. They all work beautifully now. Great job. Responsive, professional, easy to work with. I highly recommend him. He also has a coupon on Angie's list.

He arrived when he said he would completed the work in a faster manner. He did not have the Charlie Bar and had to go out and get the part because it was an after thought on my part. He worked are schedule and came back later in the day and installed the bar.

He did a good job but was simply way over priced. The lock wasn't functioning so we had to get the work done. If there was more time I definitely would have shopped around.

Scott was quick, courteous and professional. I always had issues with the alignment of the deadbolt and when Scott tested the new deadbolt and realized the issue, he took the extra step to fix it. I appreciated him coming out within hours of calling him. I would highly recommend this company.

I called Accredited Locksmith and he was there within an hour. Gave me an accurate estimate upfront after I described what I needed over the phone. Once he arrived, he also recommended that I change the deadbolt, too (which only made sense given that both locks would use the same key). My "B" for Price is only because I'm cheap - it was a job I could have done myself, but the price for the parts was comparable to what I would have paid going to a hardware store. However, the promptness and professionalism was worth the service call fee. I would strongly recommend Accredited Locksmith.

The locksmith was very knowledgeable about his work. He was able to come right out within a few hours notice and actually arrived before the appointment time. Although the work seemed a little pricey, we were satisfied with the work done. The only thing I would mention is that he did take a personal call while working which we didn't like but did not sweat it because it was brief. He also left a pile of the old locks and supplies on the floor which we felt he could have cleaned up. Other than that, he got the job done and we were happy.

I contacted Scott and was able to set an appointment for early the next day. To my pleasant surprise he was early and very courteous and professional. He did provide and immediate quote and told me what would be covered and to show him the work. I was disabled so I was not able to follow him around but about his work he went once shown all the doors to change. When the work was complete he cleaned his work area, provided me the new keys and demonstrated they would operate prior to his departure. We sat and went over the bill and it was as he had stated it would be. I was glad to see a professional who enjoyed his work had such a good work attitude and good work ethic (never stopped until the job was complete). Even when faced with a lock most new lock smiths would have drilled he used the skills he has honed over the years and was able to access the lock and change it without damaging the door or the door knob. A great job. Give him your work if you want an excellent job.

Great service, I am the co-owner of a small Real Estate company and one of our agents accidentally got locked out of a vacant bank owned property at the final walk through. Worst yet he locked his cell phone in! He called me on a passer by's phone, I was able to find Accredited on Angie's List, called, and he said he could be there in 45 min to an hour and was on time! He came out promptly and he did a good job. The only problem was he didn't put on the new plate for the lock but it works and its okay. He did it very quickly.

Although the locksmith had to call twice to report that he was running late, when he arrived he was able to take care of the installation and make keys to match the front door. The door has received much use since then as we moved some household goods into storage and then the renovation people have been in and out through that entrance to perform their work. The lever is working perfectly. Very good job.
