Oxi Fresh of Columbia Carpet Cleaning

Description of Work: They cleaned carpet in two room and a walk-in closet. They had to cancel original date, as their truck broke down. They could have handled this a little better, as I was one of their first calls. It's always a bummer when you make arrangements to be available and a provider cancels. When they did come out, they did a good job. However, the next day, I observed that there was an area (about 11"inches in diameter) that was still very wet. Even the next day it was wet, and it was also stained where previously it hadn't been stained. I called, and they arranged for someone to come out and address this area. I did have to wait about a week for them to come back to the house. The spot was considerably better, but I can still tell where it was/is. This was my second time to use this provider. I would probably use them again, but was a lot more satisfied the first time that I used them.

Description of Work: We have wool oriental carpets on wood floors, and the tech came and looked and said Oxifresh was not a good way to clean them and promised us a refund. My only problem is that I had called the company before I purchased this service and was told they could do wool oriental carpets. Apparently I was talking to a call center in CO, not the local guy. The local person was pleasant and informative, and gave me a recommendation to another cleaner. But I wish I was told the situation from the beginning.

Description of Work: Chris, who cleaned the carpet, was professional and pleasant. The carpets look clean. However, I am disappointed with the appearance of the carpet after the cleaning and the response from the owner. We have a 5-year-old, good-quality, plush carpet. There are two adults and no pets in our house. This was the first time it's been cleaned. Either the machine or the products used left a pattern in the carpet that was not there before. For the last 5 years, I am the person who has routinely vacuumed the carpet, with a Dyson, so I am the person most familiar with the carpet. So I guess I was not satisfied with the response of the owner when he came into the house for the first time and told me what the carpet should look like. Oxi-Fresh is probably OK for a different type of carpet, such as berber, and I like the fact that they use natural products in the cleaning process, but I would not recommend Oxi-Fresh for a medium pile plush carpet. I was disappointed with the manner in which the owner addressed my concerns.
