Mold Gone team arrived early and completed the entire process early as projected. The team required no intervention and took only one break. All debris was removed, including the door, light fixtures, and window trimmings.

I had another contractor come to my home to test for mold, but I was not comfortable with his protocol and recommendations. He gave a quote for 15,000, so I hired Mold Gone for a second opinion. Michael, Joe, John, Jorge, and the entire team were very responsive and accommodating. I plan on having them back to do other contracting work. They focus on customer service, they, provide cost-effective solutions, and the quality of their work is outstanding!

We have a very old home and noticed some black mold on the basement drywall. We are trying to sell our house, I spend a lot of time in the basement exercising, and I'm expecting. We did not want to waste any time having the mold removed. We called Mold Gone for an esimate. They were the most affordable of the estimates we received (about half what the other contractors were charging) and they were very responsive. They were able to schedule us very quickly after the estimate. I had some questions before the work was done and I emailed them and received a friendly response very quickly. They performed the work quickly and to our satisfaction.

They know their business. They also went above and beyond. They made a return trip to make sure they knocked out the mold and the odor. They did some extras (little final touches) that I didn't ask for and did not get charge for.

They interacted well with the remodel company. The owner, Joe, is especially great as are his workers. Even though they had other things on their schedule they accommodated us quickly. They were wonderful to work with. They came when they said they were going to be here and were on time.

We hired Joe to do a mold inspection as part of an inspection contingency for a home purchase.He was fantastic - he arrived on time, was extremely professional and knowledgable about mold issues. He did a very thorough inspection of the home - including exterior grading. He did find mold and discussed possible ways to remediate - some options were very reasonably priced. We did not go ahead with the purchase of this home but we will definitely call Joe at Mold Gone for future mold inspections.

This was truly a "WOW" experience!!!!I recently purchased a new home and within 30 days of moving in I experienced a major leak from the roof top terrace down into the master bedroom. Not knowing when the leak actually started, I was concerned about mold and water damage. I called Mold Gone and spoke directly to Joe. He listened to my concerns, and scheduled my inspection within 2 days. He arrived on time and conducted a thorough inspection, even crawling into the wall space. When asked how much do we owe, he smiled and stated, "there is no charge," "there is no mold, the walls are in good shape and from this point I hope you can enjoy your new house." EXCELLENT SERVICE, REASONABLY PRICED We had mold in our attic from a previously-repaired roof leak. After meeting with another mold company with whom we were not impressed, we called Mold Gone. Michael came out to assess the situation and was extremely professional. Joe, the owner, supervised the work personally. All precautions were taken, including plastic sheaths to prevent the spread of dust and spores. Joe even came back the next day to repair an exhaust pipe in our attic at no charge! I highly recommend Mold Gone!

The estimate was fair but I wanted to go the extra mile to get the sump pump. He was very professional, knew what he was talking about and his suggestions were good. The other company I went with did more of what I needed, however and that's why I went with them. I have already recommended them to our neighbor.

We got off to a rocky start when Joe missed our initial appointment. I agreed to meet him later that day, but did not at that time think I would be using MoldGone's services. Joe's attention to detail, pragmatism regarding mold, timely estimate, and reasonable price led me to change my mind. It also helped that even though my husband was in the house at the time, he knew to focus on me as the customer (yes, we feminist types notice those things!) MoldGone was able to start within the week, they brought quite the team with them, too! I can't imagine how all those people fit into the bathroom area! But fit they did and pretty soon there was a containment area and plenty of damaged stuff heading out the window (I was glad to note that it wasn't going to be carried through the house). The contract was to remove all the damaged areas and install a sub-floor. I was going to finish it up with a floor and paint and re-install the toilet and vanity myself to save money. However, I am not a flooring expert by any means and so was relieved when Joe suggested that his team also install a floating floor at no additional cost in the contract (other than materials). I believe this had to do with the job being just slightly more than one day's work, so since there had to be a second day anyway, might as well finish the job for me -- I wasn't asking too many questions! Mike and I headed to the store, where I benefited from his experience in choosing the new floor and toilet. The guys installed everything and got the walls paint-ready (I haven't chosen a color yet and I'm a good painter, so wanted to do that part myself) . The bathroom looks great and we can rest easy knowing the mold is gone. The MoldGone team was polite and clean. They answered even my "newbie" questions without making me feel dumb or ignorant. They did well with my newly rescued dog and respected our privacy. I would hire them again without hesitation.

We had 3 estimates for this work. Mr. Joe Mulieris inspection was the most through and detailed of the three. Mold Gone very effectively removed the mold and cleaned up the area is a very professional manner. What really impressed me is that they replaced a portion of the textured ceiling, perfectly matching the pattern of the existing ceiling. They did this so expertly, that I cannot see any trace of the repair at all, despite knowning exactly where the repair was.

I have been very happy with MoldGone, from the initial consultation with Joe through the remeidation work itself. Prior to the work, I met with Joe who examined the basement, explained where there was mold and where there was moisture present. Joe explained what would be involved in the mold remediation efforts and offered suggestions on what we could do to minimize moisture and mold problems going forward (dehumifier and landscape-grading). The crew that performed the work was very easy to work with and seemed careful and thorough. At one point when I saw that the tape holding the plastic barrier sealing the work area off from the rest of the house had become loose, the crew immeidately resealed the barrier with new tape. When the crew finished the job, they reviewed with me all the work that they had done and told me to call if I had any questions going forward.

I called Mold Gone to come to my house to inspect my master bathroom which smells moldy. Mike & I missed each other a couple of times on the phone, but he was always very prompt in getting back to me. We set up a time to have someone come over to my house, but on the evening before the scheduled visit, Joe called me to say that he was in the neighborhood and could come right over. Since this meant that I wouldn't have to leave work in the middle of the day for the inspection, I was glad that he called. Joe - a very personable and professional guy - examined my bathroom very thoroughly using an infrared sensor, identified my problem (cracked grout in a stall shower), identified the extent of the problem (not too bad yet), and told me that the best remediation method would be to have the grout removed and replaced by a tile technician. He said that this would encapsulate the mold and force it into dormancy. Joe told me that there really wasn't anything for his company to do. He spent over a half-hour at my house and didn't charge me a cent. Totally positive experience.

I brought in MoldGone after I had been taken advantage of by the first mold remediation company- they basically spray painted my ceiling (with the mold still underneath) and removed some paneling and called it a "mold remediation". Afterwards, I had brought in a mold inspector who told me otherwise. I was nervous about hiring another company since I had already been taken advantage of. When I met Mike, he was honest, patient and knowledgeable. I had brought in a few other companies for estimates, MoldGone was in the middle and fairly priced. I decided to go with them because my initial feeling was that they were honest, I liked Mike's demeanor and they would complete the job correctly. The day of the job, Mike brought his crew, which were very friendly and communicated with me throughout the day on their progress and where they were at each step. I really appreciated this, especially after all that I had went through. After the job was complete, Joe came to go through the punch list. I told him of a couple of areas in the basement I was still concerned about, he had no problem with this and personally came back to go over those areas. He was so pleasant about it and so customer focused that I was completely satisfied. Now, my basement looks 100% better, feels and smells fresh. Joe and Mike are great guys, very professional, honest and wonderful people to work with. When I'm ready for my attic to be redone, I'm bringing them in!

Mold Gone (Mike Mulieri) checked our lower level for mold after we had a foundation leak. The determination was that any possible mold exposure would, at this time, be limited enough that tearing out the drywall wasn't warranted. He offered to come back later and check further once more time had gone by. Since he was in the house I asked him to look at another area where it turned out we did have an ongoing issue that could be resolved by exterior caulking. Mike spent time explaining about mold patterns even though it was soon clear to him that their company's direct services would not be needed. What a great company, and experience

They sealed off the area in the basement. They worked quietly and diligently. They were very neat.

We recently purchased a new house that hadn't been lived in for a year and had a very musty smell in the basement, so we called Joe from MoldGone to look into it. He came to our place and did a very thorough mold inspection, taking samples from every floor, and even the outside to use as a baseline for lab analysis. He was very professional, friendly, and did a really good job of explaining what the next steps would be. When our lab results came back, it turned out that our mold levels were extremely high, like 3 times the top of some scales that measure mold levels (I found these scales independently on the internet, so I know that Joe was being honest when we he told us the levels were high). Since we had new flooring scheduled to be put in soon, we wanted to get the mold issues resolved ASAP. Joe and his crew were extremely accomodating, coming to our house at 7AM on the same day that we were scheduled to have the flooring put in so that we wouldn't have to push anything back. They ripped out the carpet in the basement, fogged every room in the house, scrubbed down everything in the basement, and left a big air scrubber in the basement to completely clean the air for a week. Joe and his crew will be back to measure the mold levels again, but I can tell you that it already smells and feels so much better. The house finally feels like somewhere safe to sleep in because of the great and thorough job that Joe and the crew did. I thought his price was very fair for the amount of work that happened and I would definitely recommend him! UPDATE: We just got our mold counts back from after the cleaning was done, and the spore count in the basement has decreased from 125K sq/ft to 1K sq/ft! Just proves that the guys did a really thorough job in bringing out house form a state that was basically unliveable to a comfortable home.
