What a great gentleman. Showed up on time, explained how to clean the small area of mold, explained how to prevent the water leakage that was the source, didn't charge a dime and wrote down the details for what we needed to get.

They were fantastic and wonderful! They were so easy to work with! They came in on time, and told us exactly what they were going to do and wrote it out for us. It was really a wonderful experience! They did exactly what they were supposed to do and made it as easy a job as possible for something like this.

It went great! We got our questions answered and we weren't forced into doing somehting that didn't need to be done. It was great to have someone competently tell you what the problem was and to give you a solution with you in mind and not to try to sell someting more then the service provided

Joe was very nice. He came out to test for mold, did that, gave me results and an estimate on damage. I ended up not going with his company because a tenant was paying for the work; it was their responsibility and they hired someone else.

A waterproofer had come to our new house and said that we had to water proof the basement with a $7000 solution. We went to MoldGone to get a second opinion, and check for mold. Jon of MoldGone came out to our house promptly at 8AM and did a full inspection, didn't find anything, and didn't charge us a dime. He did a full inspection around the house and inside the basement, and made recommendations on mold prevention. He was very honest and declined to do a mold reading test when he determined it was unnecessarily, even though he could have charged us more for us. I highly recommend Mold Gone if you are looking for a honest assessment of your problems, and not a salesman.

Fantastic. Mike Molieri was responsive, polite and thorough. The crew was meticulous to a degree I have never seen before (even my wife was happy). The work was excellent.

Great from start to finish!

The examination of the basement was very thorough and very professionally done. We were told that we did not have a mold problem but had some obvious damage due to flooding. Within approximately ten days we were given a very detailed estimate of the work to be done and the estimated cost. The estimated cost was very reasonable. Although we have not scheduled the work to be performed, as yet, we definitely plan to have the work done by this company in the very near future.

He (Joe Mulieri) arrived exactly on time, sat down and answered all of our questions (we had many), then proceeded to inspect our bathrooms for mold. He educated us on the types of mold and potential for damage if left unchecked. Upon inspecting the bathrooms, he determined that there was no mold and nothing to worry about as long as we kept up our regular cleaning routine! He then went into the attic to check the venting from the bathrooms and found that one of the vent conduits was simply lying in the insulation. Over the years this would eventually lead to mold taking hold in the attic and advised that it be positioned on the attic fan vent. I later did this myself. No charge for the visit and information and, more importantly, the reassurance that there was no danger of mold! He could easily have come up with a problem if he wanted too and charged us for un-needed work! Honest and informative we highly recommend his services!

I hired Mold Gone to perform an air quality test at my house. They were responsive, communicated well, were prompt for the appointment, and were professional. They explained their process step-by-step and were polite and respectful. While in the home they also conducted a visual mold inspection. Results of the test were thoroughly explained via e-mail and a detailed report. My home was found to have no problems and Mold Gone did not try to sell me any other products or services. They did the job they were hired for and when the test results were clean they thanked me for my business and wished me well. I would recommend this company and would use them again if I ever had the need.

Extremely well. Jon was responsive to my email requesting an appointment, inspected the basement, was honest about not needing mold remediation, and did not charge me. He also provided me with great advice about a product that I can use to prevent any mold in the future when it comes time to finally remove the remaining linoleum and carpeting from the basement. I highly recommend this company for the depth of their knowledge, integrity, and professionalism.

I emailed MoldGone because I thought I had a big mold problem in my attic. My wife was in a panic. The owner was very responsiveness. The technician showed up promptly as scheduled. He was very knowledgeable. Much to my relief he reported I did not have a major mold problem. He pointed out some minor topical mold and gave me several low cost but reliable solutions to resolved. He did not charge me for the visit and refused to take a tip. I was very happy with the whole experience and definitely recommend them.

They were fabulous. They did it very well. They were clean. They did everything right. I had a couple of people come by and I liked his thoroughness, presentation and his friendliness.

I recently had a small amount of flooding in my terrace-level condo covering a good portion of my laminate wood flooring - it was cleaned up immediately with minimal damage. I had a different company come out several months later to ensure there wasn't too much moisture trapped underneath the flooring from the flood - the company, MoldAid (Acquired Home Services), said there was absolutely going to be mold and water..they took an air sample just from the inside (no outdoor comparison) and wrote up a scope of work that was quoted as $3,900 in remediation costs. They did not explain the air test results, nor give specifics on the need for the scope of work they prescribed. Just to be sure, I called MoldGone for a second opinion. Jon saved me close to $4K with his professionalism and honesty - and he didn't make any money for it. I will absolutely use them again god forbid I need their services, and I will pass along a strong recommendation to everyone working in real estate that I know.

I had Mold Gone come out earlier this year to remediate some mold in my garage and they did a fantastic job (which you can see my other review for). Pretty much no sooner than writing my review - in which I believe included some verbiage about how one hopes never to have to call mold people just because of the nature of mold (but that Mold Gone was absolutely fantastic) - karma came calling in the form of some water marks on my master bathroom ceiling. We are preparing our house to sell, and I am a naturally paranoid person, so I got a little batty. But I had no doubt in my mind about the proper course of action: I called Mike Mulieri immediately, and he came the next day at a time convenient for me. He checked the area of concern and reassured me that it was not a problem and suggested a very inexpensive fix. While Mike was there, he also checked a couple of other areas that I had concerns about and did an air quality test on one area. Mike refused payment - even on the air quality test, which came back negative (and which Mike took the time to explain post-facto). I told him that I would sing his praises on Angie's List instead, and I am doing that here. Mold Gone was fantastic for our real mold problem. Mold Gone was fantastic for our fictive mold problem. Mold Gone is, just simply put, fantastic. The peace of mind Mike brought to both situations was, itself, priceless. If you find yourself needing mold remediation or consulting, these are the guys you want to have working for you. (And they're welcome to pop around for a beer if they're in the neighborhood again). Mike and his team were extremely professional and a pleasure to work for, from the estimate through the job being completed. During the estimate, Mike was friendly, punctual and took the time to explain what the problem was and look at all our mold sites. When we finally got around to booking the job, they were able to come right away and took only one day to get the work done. All the workers were friendly, quiet, and the wall that had the mold looks good as new. My husband and I were very impressed and would highly recommend this company.

"We had a small leak in our upstairs bathroom and called MoldGone to investigate. They were able to locate and repair the leak and treat the minor amount of mold that had been created. We decided at that time to also re-tile the bathroom. MoldGone gave us a great price, scheduled the project quickly, and did the work. I can't tell you how professional the team is and the quality of their work is fabulous! This is the second time we have used MoldGone and just like the first time the results were the same - GREAT! WOW!! After a year of having serious health issues with mold toxicity, we finally decided to get help with the problem and reached out. After hearing horror story after horror story about inept mold remediation companies, we went to Angie's List and found Mold Gone. We were far more than pleased with their work. We called them on a Tuesday afternoon, they came out and gave us an estimate the next day, and sent us a proposal that same evening. Work began the following Tuesday morning and they were finished Friday afternoon, including doing more work than was covered in the original proposal. They showed up promptly on Tuesday morning with a crew 6 including the onside supervisor. In addition to the working crew, the COO and company president were onsite frequently to make sure that everything was going well and to make any adjustments necessary. All of the crew members, supervisors, and executives were exceptionally attentive, polite, professional, and accommodating. To say that we were Impressed with the quality of their work, their work ethic, their thoroughness, and their professionalism is not saying enough. We sent a request to MoldGone, LLC. via Angie's List to schedule an inspection on Sep 17, 2012. Joe Mulieri, president of MoldGone, came out to do the inspection. On Sep 27, 2012, Joe Mulieri emailed the proposal and the estimated cost to do the job. After evaluating all the other proposals, we finally decided to go with MoldGone, LLC on December 27, 2012. Joe scheduled to start the project on the first week of Jan 2013 after the holidays. Joe also said that he will need a deposit to firmly put our project on their calendar. We stated that there was no mention of a deposit in the contract. In fairness, Joe agreed to forego the deposit with the understanding that the project will start on the first week of Jan 2013. Unfortunately, we had a family emergency (my dad sprained his back that he needed to be hospitalized) that we had to reschedule. Joe was very accommodating and rescheduled the project but said that he will have to modify the contract to include the required deposit. We agreed. Upon receiving the contract, we added some items in the contract that were not originally clear. The changes were that 1) satisfactory completion of the project is based on client satisfaction that all visible mold has been treated, 2) all removed drywall will be replaced with mold resistant drywall, finished to a paint-ready status and painted (which Joe agreed to do in an email), and 3) the deposit shall be credited to the total investment amount stated in the contract. We signed the revised contract and submitted it back to MoldGone, LLC. for concurrence and signature. We did not believe we added anything unreasonable in the contract and expected to receive a signed contract from MoldGone, LLC and finally get the project off the ground. To our surprise, Joe Mulieri responded that his company cannot sign the revised contract, withdrew its proposal and wish us the best. Joe did not even give us the professional courtesy to explain why they cannot agree to the revised contract, which is why we rated them a D for professionalism. This is not the kind of reaction we were expecting from MoldGone, LLC., given the positive reviews they have on Angie's List. We were sorely disappointed but we also know that they are not the only company in the area specializing in mold remediation. Again, we were very disappointed by their reaction and will not recommend this company to any of our friends and family members. I guess they believe they are in a position now where they can determine which client is worthy of their business given the past reviews they received in Angie's List. Again, we are very disappointed with Joe Mulieri and MoldGone, LLC. and is the reason for giving them a rating of D for overall experience.
