Description of Work: I called to have the garage door springs replaced, but Billy pointed out a number of problems that he fixed along with the springs, with no increase in labor costs. He worked fast on a very hot and humid day, kept me apprised of what he was doing, and left me much happier with my old door than I ever expected to be. Give this man your business and be happy!

Description of Work: My garage door was warped and would not close properly; my light on my garage door opener would not come on, even though I changed the light bulb, and I wanted an outdoor keyless entry pad. I contacted Billy doors and he came immediately. He put a metal rod across the top of my garage door to straighten out the door; asked me if I wanted him to change the springs on the pulley system and grease them. Which I allowed him to do. He fixed the garage door opener by changing out a bad panel. He asked if I wanted a new one or a refurbished one. I took the refurbished one and everything has been working well. He put on a keyless entry pad and gave me a new remote control to open the garage door. His price was very reasonable.

Description of Work: Look no further. This guy is the best. Very knowledgable, experienced, and hard working. An outstanding small business owner. He is very courteous, and on time for scheduled appointments. I had him come and replace a broken spring on one garage door that was stuck down. He did such a great job that I had him come back to replace the motor, and spring on the other door. I will use this guy for all my garage door needs in the future. I wish all contractors were as good as this guy.

 + -1 moreCalled Billy on Saturday AM to attend to some needed fixes following a home sale inspection report. He was prepared to come over within an hour but that wouldn't work for me so we scheduled Tuesday between 2-4pm...Billy showed up shortly after 2 on Tuesday. He worked quickly, explained clearly everything he was doing, and was fun to talk with while he worked. He also did a quick general inspection and told me that everything else was in excellent shape...it is always reassuring to me when a repair person tells you that you DON'T need this or that in addition to what you called them for! All in all, I could not have been happier with the entire experience start-to-finish!

 + -1 moreBilly arrived a couple minutes early, and was completed early. He took the time to explain what he was going to do, and ask a couple of questions before he got started. He was quick, efficient, and didn't charge me for parts he didn't need. When he has completed the work, he stepped me through the proper operation of the opener and the accessories and spent the time to allow me to program it as necessary. A great job, responsive person, and very patient and willing to help.

When I phoned he went through a few simple things for me to try to see if I could get the door working without a service call. The came very promptly, fixed the door/motor problems, talked with my husband regarding the repairs, and did excellent work.

Description of Work: My garage door opener did not work. I called Billy Doors at night, and Billy came the next morning. He found that the opener circuit board had failed, and replaced it. He then adjusted the door, did preventive maintenance, and reprogrammed my remotes to the new circuit board.

 + -1 moreBrian was fabulous! We knows how to think/solve problems in a cost-effective manner. Came with all own tools and replacement parts. I called and he was at my place within the hour, work done shortly after that at a very reasonable rate. I had called another company to get an estimate for the job and the man just wanted to remove my old door, the track, etc for over $800.00. That guy said repair wasn't possible because the pulleys were bolted together rather than ones which could be repaired! Nonsense!
Description of Work: Repaired extension springs, installed new safety cable, and adjusted door so it would lock properly.

 + -1 moreBilly is a great guy, very optimistic, quick, and easy to work with. When I called, he picked up, and he came in the next morning. He assessed the damage, suggested a couple necessary improvements and fixes, which I accepted. He wasn't pushy about it. I paid for springs, pulleys, and cables, and for his time. I don't trust very easily, and am quite particular about these things, but I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to have their garage door serviced. It didn't take longer than an hour in total. If you are looking for a small, trustworthy company in this area, don't look any further.
Description of Work: The garage door was having issues closing, as one spring broke off. Both springs were changed, the pulleys, as well as the cables.

 + -1 moreCalled Billy at 12:15 on a Saturday afternoon. We were lucky. He'd just finished a job and was on his way home. He agreed to stop by and assess the damage. Billy arrived within 15 minutes; gave us an estimate on every part and piece of equipment he recommended replacing, and about how long the job would take him to complete. Then he went to work. The job was finished to our complete satisfaction within an hour of our call. And he gave us a senior citizen discount! We couldn't have been more pleased with Billy, the price and the service.
Description of Work: Garage door springs were completely shot. Couldn't open or close. Springs were replaced; other necessary parts replaced.

 + -1 moreOutstanding. Billy Doors advertises an emergency line and they were one of three companies that I called. Billy's was the only one to return my call and did so within 30 minutes. Months later, I called because the garage door wouldn't close. Billy diagnosed the problem over the phone and told me how to fix it, when he could have scheduled a service call and charged a fee.
Description of Work: Garage door was damaged when it was inadvertently closed on a ladder on a Sunday evening. Billy Doors came out that Sunday night and fixed the door within one hour.

Description of Work: OUR GARAGE DOOR OPENER BROKE AND THE GARAGE DOOR WOULD NOT OPEN (WITH MY CAR STILL IN THE GARAGE). BILLY DOORS TOOK THE CALL AND ARRIVED AT OUR HOUSE WITHIN THE HOUR. THE GARAGE DOOR WAS FIXED WITHIN THE NEXT 1/2 HOUR. BESIDES FIXING THE GARAGE DOOR, HE LUBRICATED THE DOOR TO REMOVE THE EXISTING SQUEAKS.
