Great! Called Tuesday and they were able to help me out on Wednesday morning, accommodating my schedule on a pre-scheduled day off. Only one day notice, which is likely very unusual. Ceccilia, the owner, came by the house in addition to her handy woman to perform the service to give me two separate invoices. One fixture was for an insurance claim for the house and the other installation was an out of pocket expense. Handywoman Angelia custom cut the chandelier chain and wiring to my height specifications and cleaned up after her work including wiping marks from my ceiling. They were great.

It was great. They came out promptly to give me the estimate. I haven't hired anyone yet to do the work.

She was pleasant and very professional, she came out and took some measurements and then she never returned my calls and I have never heard from her again.

The job was done fantastically, very professional. I was very pleased. The entire job took less then 1 day.

She is cheerful, thorough, careful, personable. Does the job well and explains as she goes. She is terrific.

It seems that she is willing to take on even the small jobs that no one else will do. I think that she is kind, delightful and efficient. She is well priced.

Inferior work was performed and inferior products were used. The services provided did not match the estimate for projects which was a very high estimate. I now have long nails protruding into the shed so I am not sure if it will leak or not. The materials used in the gazebo were very inferior. All the decorative trim was removed but new trim was not installed. The lattice wood was extremely rough and had long hair-like strands hanging off of it. It was not secured on one side and the side that was secured was secured with the old rotten trim. It bows out in the middle. The gazebo was left with long 2 inch nails protruding from it where the lattice was attached causing a health risk. While working on the gazebo, a planter was broken and moved to the side but no clean up of dirt and pebbles was performed. Handywoman bought the same weatherstripping that I had put on the doors myself which did not work. I refused to let them put it on so they reluctantly went to the hardware store and bought something that I hope will work this winter. They had no solution to the draft that was coming from under the doors so they put door sweeps on two of the doors and then wanted to charge me extra for putting one on the office door even though I had contracted and paid for the insulation of four doors. I reluctantly agreed to this solution since the only other option was to take the doors off to put insulation under the door. After seeing the work that was performed, there was NO way I was letting them take off my doors. I now have spaces for draft to come in that I didn't have before they did their work. I have a 1877 period house which now has ugly door sweeps which are not in keeping with the period of the house. I felt that I had no choice. I now have a hard time opening/closing the front door. All of the work was inferior except for the installation of a peep hole and kickplate which are relatively simple tasks. The owner was very intimidating when I brought up items that I did not think were going well and when they had to come back to fix certain items, she tried to double bill for these items.

I liked that she was able to do small jobs. She was responsive and replied to my emails. She came to the house to give us an estimate. She was clever in solving some problems. She was down to earth and had common sense. She is into cost containment. She can do a variety of jobs. We can't say enough good things about this company.

I contacted the company via e-mail and received a response within the week. We scheduled an appointment for an estimate and she showed up on time. We did a walk through of the work to be completed and she was very professional. She sent me a written estimate (which was a little pricey but hey I was desperate to find a good contractor for a change) and we scheduled an appointment to begin the work the next week. She showed up and began on time. She did find a termite problem which delayed the completion of part of the work. Once I had the termite problem taken care of she finished the job the next week. I am very pleased with the work that was done. I would definitely recommend her to others.

Everything went fine. She seems pretty knowledgeable about her job. The job was done in a timely manner. She is friendly and kind. She seems reliable and dependable. I plan to use her on some other jobs. I was very satisfied. She gave us a warranty on her work.

I called Cecelia on 9/13, mentioning Angie's List, and she told me to email her with a description of the work I needed done. I did that and although I had told her where I lived, she emailed back 9/14, asking where I was located. When I told her, she said she covered that area, and to email her with a date and time that would be good for her to come do an estimate. I sent her some dates and waited. On the 19th, I emailed her, saying I wanted to leave her a positive review and I looked forward to hearing from her. It is now the 21st and I never heard from her. This is a very poor way to run a business, especially if she expects to get clients based on her Angie's List reviews.

She is in charge of several people that work for her and they come out once every two weeks. Her girls do a very good job and we have no complaints with her service. She is less expensive than other people. She is usually on time but not on a perfect schedule because of the nature of the service.

I called her and that same day she went to get a look and to give an estimate. A few days later, the work was done. I will definitely use her for all my handy-person's needs.

Gail was very responsive and professional. Returned my initial calls in timely fashion, showed up as promised for scheduled estimate, delivered estimate on timely basis as well.

I called Handywoman Services and received a callback the same day. I explained the problem with the drain, and Cecelia gave a rough estimate over the phone. I thought the price was fair, and Cecilia came out to do the work two days later. I was really impressed with her work. She was on time and thorough. Because of modifications I've made to my house, I knew this wasn't a straightforward job, but she and her crew persisted until the drain was clear. She also made a few recommendations and gave me some materials to help to prevent such a backup again.

I called and spoke to the owner. We made an appointment for her to come out and do estimate. After a bit of going back and forth on how to find my home she arrived. I got a good feeling from her. I pointed out all the work I needed done. Three major: Windows needed to be caulked and repaired. There is water infiltration due to this (needed badly) Back patio is wrought iron and needs to be treated for damage (needed badly). Due to the damage in patio water causing damage to below (needed badly). The walk through went well and I mentioned quite a few things I would like done around the house. I was told she would get back to me with an estimate and she never called. Second week I called and she apologized and said she would email me the estimate and it has been a week and I have never heard back. I am really disappointed because I had basically chosen her to do the job. I had read some people having this same experience, but was shocked when it happened to me. I'm disappointed because I had such a good impression. This is just unprofessional.

Cecilia was great - very responsive to my email. Came out to give an estimate and completed the work within one week of contact. I would highly recommend her and will use her again.

It went really good. Many of the companies wouldn't come to my location because it was to far or it wasn't a large enough job. But she was able to come out no problem. She is very honest about what I needed done and didn't need done. She also did a few extra small things for me with no extra charge.

It was excellent because she was nice and professional. She stood by her work and she did the work in a timely matter and left. They price was very reasonable.
