They were very responsive and the price was reasonable. They met my needs pretty well.

She was very affordable and did a very good job. They were easy to work with in scheduling a time for the work. I would definitely work with her again and I have recommended her to friends of mine.

They are local, and I was trying to find someone else other than who I had for odd jobs. I told them that I needed the electrical work right away, because of the garage doors. Her son did the work. I could not tell whether or not if they had a license, but he is an electrician. Given what he was doing, I didn't think I was taking a huge risk because it wasn't that complicated. If I would have had more time I might have drilled down a little further. He did a good job. He quoted me a price, came the next day, and the job was done. The price and service was very good. The only thing I would say is that the Maryland home improvement reference number that is given on another website for this company is actually for different company on Maryland's website. I suspect they are related to each other, but I haven't really investigated that. The other part of the work that they are going to do for me is not all that dangerous or complicated. There punctuality was about average. I had to call them a lot to get a hold of them. Once I did reach them, they did the work the next day. They aren't as professional as other people I have dealt with, but they were fine.

They have been fabulous every time I have used them. They are borderline on price, but you know you are going to get what you pay for. They are very busy.

The owner is down to earth and honest. The prices are good. The entire crew is honest, respectful, helpful and courteous. They work incredibly hard. One of them helped me when I was doing a different job not related to them because it was hard for me. This is how all humans should be. They all are outstanding.

Cecilia was very good. She did not clean up quite as well as I would have liked, however she did very good quality work. They had to be some scheduling changes and she was very responsive in working with me on those.

Everything was done efficiently and well, and the price was very reasonable. I would recommend her to anyone.

Cecilia came over to look at the work and gave me an estimate. She and Debbie arrived on time on the scheduled day and worked all day and the next. She let me add several small items to the list at the last minute. They are very hard working, capable, and pleasant. A thoroughly professional experience. I would definitely hire them again.

It went well. She thought through the job, okayed her installation plan with me. Only problem is that a few screws peek through the wood (not so great for small children), but this is easily fixed with a little cork. Everything else is wonderful! We have already called her again and she is responsible and helpful. Seems careful not to overcharge.

They were fine once we managed to get a mutually agreeable time. I was not satisfied because it still leaked, and so she actually came back. She did some more work and gave me $30 back. She also gave me the name of a plumber in case it wasn?t fixed yet, probably because the faucet required replacement. She fixed my door and now the door opens and closes freely.

Things went very well. She assisted in the selection of the wood stain, carefully explained what to expect, and gladly assisted with several side jobs that needed completed. The floor came out wonderfully. The only surprise was that the color of the wood was not what we had anticipated. I selected "Gunstock" for the stain, but it actually has a strong red cast. Cecilia offered to adjust the color, but I'm not picky with the color and the red tint looked very nice. It's wood, let it do it's thing. She did an excellent job of repairing holes in the floor where old radiators once stood. She used salvaged wood she was able to locate. She did an excellent job of communicating with me, and I have a terrific finished floor to show for it. I discovered a sizable chip in the bathtub one evening. The next day, and without prompting, Cecilia explained that a closet rail tipped, fell, and struck the edge of the tub, chipping it while she was working. She explained that she contacted a specialist to repair the tub. The next day the tub was repaired, just like new, and at her expense. And, she followed up to make sure I was satisfied with the workmanship, and apologized. A small detail, and she made it right.

The whole situation was very strange. I told her that I did not want wrought iron, I wanted aluminum. She went and saw what it was all about, did all of the measurements, and then we had problems finding all of the parts. She made quite an effort to get all of the railings that she needed, but found that she didn't have all of the fasteners. She then made several trips back to the home improvement store to track down all of the fasteners she needed. I thought she was very nice about it and very flexible.

It went great. She came by very punctually to look at what needed to be done, she sent me an estimate for the work and we agreed on the date. When it was rainy that day we decided on a new day, just a few days later. She provided the new post for us. Everything went very smoothly. I can't really comment on the cost because I didn't get any competing quotes so I have no idea if it high or low.

Went great. Cecelia was prompt, courteous, and professional.

1. Fluorscent light replacement-fine-no problem. 2. HORRIFIC! Wrong info. given for venting materials. Stated former construction company had not vented and that lint was blowing between walls.When I advised there were 2 vents outside she backtracked and said they had done a sloppy job and could not use their system. Cut hole in wall to vent; did not use. Just stuck the jagged,frayed piece back in the wall.Vented out basement window and would be back when weather is warmer to revent. Broke ceiling tiles in laundry room &adjacent bathroom.Left large dirt marks on walls.Sliding door to bath was off track and she removed cording. Said wall would have to be knocked down to repair(not true). She made 4 trips to create the resulting Rube Goldberg contraption.

Cecilia was a delight to deal with. She was very responsive to my email request for an estimate and came by at times convenient for me. She was prompt, courteous and friendly. She provided us with an estimate on the same day she came to assess the project, and was able to start work within two weeks. Her work was outstanding, and she quickly finished numerous projects for us. We will definitely use her again for home projects.

I am a landlord, and Cecelia is always a pleasure to deal with. I have used her several times (4?) over the past 2 years. She is prompt, and always accurate in her quotes. I prefer (unlike some landlords) to keep my properties in top condition. Cecelia also helps me by observing other possible repairs during the same visit, which saves me another (eventual) service call. I am very happy with her price, work, and professionalism.

All 11 items were completed and the quality of Cecilia's work is high. The French door is beautifully hung and opens and closes easily, even though the existing door frame was not plumb and the floor was not even. Cecilia also goes the extra mile. She spray painted the railing before reinstalling it and she picked up a doorstop for the door frame in which the French door was to be installed when we realized that we did not have one. And she did these extras without charge. In addition, Cecilia guarantees her work for 90 days. She came back out and adjusted the diverter when it developed problems and did not charge for the visit. Some of the items took longer to complete than Cecilia had anticipated and she was unable to finish all the tasks that she had planned to finish in one day. But she returned another day to finish the remaining items and charged us exactly the amount that she had provided in the estimate. Cecilia was very punctual and showed up within the window of time that she provided. When she was caught in traffic, she was diligent about calling to let us know where she was and her anticipated arrival time. I had read previous reviews that mentioned that Cecilia did not provide a quote when requested. After Cecilia came out to look over the jobs for which I was requesting a quote, it took her about a week to get back to me with a quote (although it was also around the end of the year and the holidays). I did email her to check on the status of the quote and she very promptly responded to my inquiry.

Cecilia had a challenge in working in the small space where the plumbing was installed in our older house. She came back a week later to fix a defect in one of the knobs (not her fault, problem with the hardware). She did not charge extra for repairing this. She was patient, professional, and left the work areas neat and clean.

We had a break-in. Someone kicked in our back door, damaging the door and breaking the frame. Celia was our first call. She asked if the door had been secured (the answer was yes we had nailed it shut ourselves) and without any hesitation she immediately recommended someone else for the job. She said that she could replace the door if we wanted her to but that the other company did more work on doors and would be able to get it done faster. We really appreciated that she seemed more concerned about our emergency situation than her own paycheck - very professional!

Cecilia was easy to reach via email and responded to my messages right away. We had a brief discussion via email and she came within days to check out the job to give an estimate. She was able to come at a convenient time and was punctual and friendly. She came back within the week to finish the work and ended up charging a very reasonable price. She also offered to help connect me to contractors to do other work on our house that she would be unable to do herself.

Excellent. She was wonderful, ran to the hardware store for needed anchors without extra charge, did good quality, complete work and was very easy to work with (scheduling, etc). Will use again.

Initial impressions were very good. I called Cecilia for an estimate and she returned my call within a few hours. And, since she was near by even asked if she could stop by to take a look at the requested work. She seemed knowledgeable and comfortable with the tasks. I was looking for someone to hang an interior door (repair to frame was also needed), repair some drywall, repair a plaster wall and to investigate an issue with a sliding door. She said she could easily do all work with the exception of perhaps the sliding door. I was fine with her response to the sliding door issue since I recognized that it could potentially be a tricking thing to fix. In any case, I told her that I would pay her for 20 mins of her time to investigate the issue and determine if she could fix it. She wasn't able to give me an estimate on the spot which kind of surprised me since she seemed to understand the work involved for all tasks. Nevertheless, I was fine waiting and Cecilia promised to get back to me that evening. She never did call me that day. After not hearing from her the next morning I called her. She never apologized or explained why she didn't call me back. Instead, she gave an estimate and then when I expressed some surprise she quickly dropped it by $75 explaining that she was thinking of another job. I told that I would review the estimate with my partner and would get back to her that day. Since we found the estimate to be on the high side I called her back and asked her to instead give us an estimate for 2 of the 4 tasks. She wasn't able to do so on the spot but did agree that the estimate sounded a bit high. She said that didn't have her book with her when I first called her to get the estimate and that was the reason for the incorrect quote. She promised to get back to me in the next few hours with the correct estimate but never did. At that point I decided to select someone else to do the work.
