The highest compliment I can pay Mike is that he has integrity; I trust him. If he says you need something, you can believe that you really need it. For the toilet, I thought we just had a worn-out flush mechanism, but when he took things apart, he discovered a crack in the tank. He gave us a couple of options, and we elected to get a new toilet, which he was able to purchase and install the next day. We wanted a shower head replaced in another bath, and he recommended not starting the work until we could work with a tile guy, so that he wouldn't be doing unnecessary work. Diamond Plumbing has done several other repair jobs for us over the years, and the results are why we keep coming back. Mike works quickly, prices are more than fair, he is punctual -- can't say enough good things.

Diamond Plumbing out of Bowie is where I now go for all my plumbing needs. Mike, the owner, knows all the Bowie Levitt homes and their quirks. He if very knowlegable and highly professional. He always promply returns calls. I have also used him over the years to install my washing machine, install a new toilet, and to fix leaky toilets and sinks.

I live in the Bowie, Maryland area and had two plumbers from my insurance warranty company come and try and repair the pipe coming from the floor taking away the water from the wash machine. I thought the pipe was clogged, but that was not the case and the two plumbers that came from the insurance company should have figured the problem out instead of giving an incorrect diagnose. The first plumber came and snaked out the line with a small snake and that didn't work, so then he went and got a larger snake and began using it until I told him I could hear banging coming from underneath the kitchen sink. The plumber ended up punching a hole in one of the hoses under my kitchen cabinet (he had to replace the hose). He then began talking on the phone with someone trying to get help on how to fix the problem. I was then told me I needed to replace all the plumbing under the kitchen cabinet. The second company came to give me a second opinion and told me the pipe coming from the floor was the wrong size and the floor would need to be dug up in order to fix that problem and he also told me I had an outtake in my front yard and that wasn't true. I was so disgusted until I was told by an Bowie employee to call Diamond Plumbing and it was the best thing that I could have done. Mike came out to the home and diagnosed the problem right away. He was very professional, on time and explained everything thoroughly. I am so happy I did not listen to the two previous plumbers. I will definitely use Diamond Plumbing again.

This was my first time to have plumbing work done by Diamond Plumbing, LLC and it was a perfectly wonderful experience. The owner, Mike Dornisch, responded quickly to my voicemail message requesting an estimate, even though he was on vacation. On the day of the appointment, his scheduled arrival time was a two-hour window (10:00 to 12:00) and he arrived at exactly 10:00 to the minute. He looked at the stream of water coming from my bathtub faucet (original hardware from when the house was built in 1966)and gave me two options, to rebuild or replace. He clearly had extensive experience doing both and gave concrete, factual information as to cost, materials, life expectancy, and additional aspects of each option. When I chose the rebuild and asked when he could do the work, he said he could do it now. He went back to his truck, pulled all the tools and materials he would need, and started the work within 15 minutes of his arrival. The work was completed in under two hours. Mike Dornisch was pleasant, neat, organized, and business-like. The completed work looks highly professional. I received a 10% seniors discount.

I had an inspection done on a townhouse that I had recently purchased. Mike identified several issues that needed to be addressed. He came back a few days later to reseat two toilets, replace a toilet valve, toilets flappers, and the washer lines. Mike came on time and was very professional and personable. He did have to call me a few days ahead of time because there was some confusion over when the inspection was scheduled.

I cannot recommend Diamond Plumbing highly enough. If you are looking for a plumber, Mike is your guy. Reliable, professional yet friendly, efficient, flexible about scheduling, and really stands behind his work. There was a minor problem with one of the toilets that took a couple of follow up visits to resolve and he stayed on it until it was resolved (at no extra charge). It seemed to bother him at least as much (if not more) than it did me. Anyway, as long as Mike is around I can see no reason to call any other plumber.

Provider completely failed to actually answer their phone or return a call.

The owner/master plumber actually performed the work. He was on time and quickly diagnosed the problem. Because there is a large maple tree above the sewer line this could have been horrible and very costly. He did not make assumptions but snaked the line first and that cleared the clog which was primarily tree roots. Finally he inspected the line with the camera. He gave me an estimate that was very accurate. Not only did he fix the problem within the estimated time, he also told me how to prevent it in the future. I have already recommended this company to my neighbor.

Work was fast and effectient and professionally done.

Mike was on his way home for the day and treated my problem as an emergency. He was on site from 16:10 till 18:35. The work involved him being outside for a while in the 10 degree weather as well as working in a dark corner the house. He replaced the burst cut off valve and the outside faucet. He also placed the water line at an angle so this will not happen again. This is my second time I have used Diamond Plumbing and like the first time Mike cleaned up everything and removed all traces of him being on site. He made me feel like a valued customer.

Mike was on time and after assessing the situation, immediately went to work and located the leak due to the recent freezing weather. In addition to fixing the problem he was called for, he found and corrected couple of leaks that I was unaware of. He provided recommendations to mitigate the possibility of another leak in the future. He was professional at all times and was always attentive to my comments and my findings. Could not be any happier with the job he performed. He will be the first to be called if I ever have another problem that requires a plumber.

The technician, Mike, showed up exactly as the appt was scheduled, in fact he was a bit early. He was professional every step of the way. He began by listening to me & asking appropriate questions, gave his opionion of what it could be and at that point gave me an estimated repair price. He didn't try to start the work and then slap me with a bill. He explained that if it were more than he believed it to be the pricing could change. After completeing the work he took the time to explain in every day language what the problems were, how he addressed them, and what I should expect from his repairs. He didn't talk down to me because I was a woman and he didn't take advantage of my situation to line his bank account. The price was very fair and he took a short time to do the work. I didn't give the price an 'A' rating because, although it was a very good & reasonable price, I didn't feel it was an exceptional price. After fixing all the issues he took the time to explain a few things I would need to know about the water heater's recirculator. I wanted to upgrade the water heater to a larger model and he went over the pros & cons of doing so. He was trying to save me money in the long run. That one gesture alone will make this company my permanent plumbing company. I will recommend this company to anyone who wants or needs a plumber in this area. Mike was one of the nicest service persons I've dealt with this year. I have complete trust in him simply because he took the extra steps to assure me and inform me.

During the initial contact, Diamond Plumbing took great care to discuss the potential problems with our leaky faucet including potential problems and estimated time/costs for related repairs. I was well informed as to what to expect and well prepared for my options for repair dependent on what the plumber would find once he was on site. He was able to schedule a service call quickly. During the service call, he quickly determined the repair could be achieved with minimal time and cost. He had the necessary parts on hand and quickly made the necessary repairs. The leak was fixed and the faucet operation is much smoother that it has in years. Very pleased with his service - we've found a very good plumber and will be our 1st choice if needed in the future.

He appeared exactly on time, was polite and professional and performed all work quickly and well.

Upon arriving and evaluating the situation Mike found that the incoming electric was 240 and the new water heater was 120. He changed the breaker in the panel and added a junction box to handle the electric issue. He fixed the leaking pipe left by the other plumber and replaced a leaky valve in one pipe. I know have hot water again. Mike also replaced two flapper in both of my toilets and explained in detail why I was having issues with on in particular. Overall he was very professional, well equipped, easy to talk to and cleaned up as if he hadn't even been here. I had used Diamond before and was very pleased with his work then. The only reason I used someone else was it was an angie's list deal that didn't work out well. I will stick with Diamond Plumbing for any plumbing in the future.

I have used mike for over three years numerous times. I have two rental houses in addition to my home and have needed him at each house for various leaks and installations. We are always satisfied and he is the first person we call for all plumbing help. I have recommended him to several friends and neighbors.

I did not want to deal with the install since the PVC plumbing was installed 18 years ago when I redid the kitchen. I was afraid the pipes would break and then I would have a big mess on my hands. The installation was pretty much complicated but Mike Dornisch is a professional and worked through the kludge plumbing design that was installed 18 years ago. The entire install took close to 2 hours. If I attempted to do the job it would have taken me much longer. Mr. Dornisch was very neat and cleaned up the area before leaving the job site. He explained the different features of the new disposal and how to properly use the unit. Both my wife and I are amazed at the low sound level of the disposal and how well it works. I will be calling Diamond Plumbing for my future plumbing needs.

Mike squeezed us in right after his vacation. He came on time, was pleasant, professional and quick. He knew exactly what precautions to take so we did not have an unexpected floor with the toilet. He was the nicest, most professional service provided I think I have ever dealt with.

If you are looking for an honest, hardworking and cost effective plumbing service company - look no more - Diamond Plumbing and Michael Dornisch, it's owner is the only plumbing company I intend to use again. Everything was fixed to perfection. The work was clearly explained to me before and after completion. Not often do you find a service provider that is this good, you look for other projects to be done just because you want this service company back in your home to repair things that may or are about to need fixing.

Everything was completed in a reasonable timeframe and we are very pleased with the work.

I contacted the provider this morning to schedule the installation of a new water heater. Unfortunately, he informed me that he would be unable to get to me until the following week and recommended I call someone else. What followed is why I am writing this review. Knowing that I was not going to use his services, he proceeded to give me price quotes on various models of traditional and tankless water heaters, provided his opinion on both types and which provides the most cost savings over the long haul (typically), and stressed the importance of selecting a company that is licensed/insured and who will get a permit and inspection, particularly because I needed a natural gas unit that could release carbon monoxide if installed improperly. He could have just told me that he was too busy to get to my job and sent me on my way, but I really appreciated the expert's insight into selecting the proper company for the job. I will definitely call them for my next plumbing job.
