Buyer Beware: When the contractor reviews the job the estimate may be for considerably more than the $99.00 covers. My estimate was $1100.00. I got a refund for this deal through Angie's List and found another contractor to do the job.

It went really well. There way an entire side of my walkway with loose bricks and they pulled them out. Chiped out the old cement and reseated my bricks in fresh cement.

After buying the deal, I emailed the company, I got no response fo several days, I got a request for a picture of the project, I got a question bac, which I answered. In about 3 weeks they came by to check out the job, promised the crew would be back that Friday. My wife stayed home from work, no one showed. No one answered my call when I inquired and my email was not responded to. On the following Monday afternoon I got an email that they would be there that Thursday and that they were never coming the Friday, even though I had a confirming email. We scheduled another date but the nght before I got an email saying the had to cancel because rain was predicted but there was no rain. The reschedule was the week before Christmas, but then it did rain. By then we rescheduled over New Years and the crew finally showed. They did a good job and came back the following week to pressure wash the job. Painful but the result was good.

I ordered the special on Angie's List in mid October. This was my first experience with Angie's List, so I was a rookie. I was expecting a call from GO conctracting to confirm that I had ordered the service. This did not happen. After a couple of weeks I got an email from Angies List asking how it was going and if I had been called by GO Contracting. I replied no, and they said they would contact GO. I was not really in a hurry to get the work done as I travel ofter on long overseas trips, so I decided to wait until a few weeks before Christmas to get down to business. As I had never heard from GO, I called them and got voice mail...with the promise of a call back. Well, no call back...so I called a few more time and eventually go the call. Once we connected, the work took shape, a date for a site visit was set. The visit occured, and the work was performed within a few days. Actually had it done on a Sunday, which fit my schedule just right. GO sent a contract for the work via email the night prior to the work. The crew showed up on time, were very pleasant and very alert. They did a very nice job and did a total site clean up prior to departure. The team worked very well together and I was very pleased with their work and their positive, happy attitude. A few adjustments were made to the original work scope and GO had forgot to apply a promised Military Discount. The owner emailed later saying he forgot and promised to send me check for that portion of the bill. Overall, good work, good crew. If I had on downside, it was the overall lack of contact in a timely fashion...otherwise...great job. With improvement on customer contact...they can earn an A next time.

Purchased a big deal. Made several attempts to contact by phone numbers provided. No one answers the phone and I have not gotten a call back.

I attempted to contact this company 7 different times, three via phone and four via email. It was simply impossible to get a response. I had purchased a "big deal" through Angie's List for 4 hours of masonry work for $99. If it seems to good to be true, that's because it was. I repeatedly asked to schedule a time for the company to come by and look at the work. I received nothing in response. After sending multiple emails, the one time I did receive a response, the email said "I will be by at 8am on Monday." When I responded that Monday didn't work for me and asked if the company could give me a few additional times to work with, I received no response. I have no idea how the work would have been, because the company was either too overwhelmed to be responsive, or needs to invest in a reception service.

Two seemingly reluctant workers who did not seem very interested in fixing my house.

It didn't go well at all. They never came back to do the work -- and we had paid for the coupon!!!

The work was accomplished in a timely manner and was accomplished in a satisfactory manner. However, there was some mortar residue left on the bricks and I asked them to come back and clean up. It took multiple phone calls and emails to get them to come back. They would say they were coming and then would;t show up. This happened 4 or 5 times. They finally came and did a good job. There is also a bit of a language barrier in talking with the owner. Overall, average experience.

It went very well. The work team was punctual and did a fine job.

Overall the service provided was quite good and for good value. My only complaint is that it took forever to get an appointment set up.

The most troublesome thing about this situation is their responsiveness. Other companies have called right away. He didn't end of performing the work. However, he did come out and left scratches on my brick.

I can only say okay - because they still have not finished the work as far as I am concerned. They still need to do a final cleaning on the bricks.

They were punctual, neat, quick, thorough, and very pleasant.

It was a job well done. We did need to wait until the weather was warm. No complaints.

Owner Nestor very polite. Good salesman. Never supervised job personally. Foreman not detailed oriented. I had to point out sloppy work. Nestor did send crew back to complete some undone edge trim work. I mentioned still not that good. Nestor came out himself and agreed. Said he would correct. Has not returned. Too cold now to do concrete work. Crews power washing clean up was sub-standard.

I hired GO Contractors to fix a leak in the brick of my 4-unit condominium building. I'd bought a big-deal from Angie's List. When Nestor came out, he was very thorough in explaining what it would take to fix the leak, and also pointed out two additional problems with the brick work. One of the problems was cosmetic, and the other was something that could cause additional leaking down the road if I didn't take care of it now. He gave me the prices of all three procedures, and gave me one lump price if I chose to fix all the issues (in which case I would receive an additional deal). The work was done professionally and I was very satisfied. The workers were punctual. From the time Nestor came out to give the estimate to the time the whole project was complete was about a 2-week period of time.

There were hidden fees attached to the deal. Therefore I did not go through with the deal and prompted a refund request from Angie's List!

They took weeks to look at job and still have not come!

IT WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THEM AFTER A/L INTERVENING WE MADE CONTACT. THAT BEING SAID WE WERE MORE THAN PLEASED W[TH THE WORK DONE AND WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.

G.O. Contractors (Nestor Gomez) inspected the work that needed to be done and gave us a variety of options/estimates. All were fairly priced and included the appropriate discounts for Angie's List members. It took a little while from the time we purchased the initial "deal" to the time we actually received the estimate, but the short wait was worth it. Once we settled with Nestor on an actual project (we decided to go beyond the original advertised deal), the work began within two days and was finished two days later. The appropriate amount of people showed up with Nestor's crew chief (total of 6) and completely fixed our brickwork (steps, walkway, stoop). It now looks better than new. We are thrilled with the work that was done and would use Nestor again. Please keep in mind that our project has only been recently completed, so I cannot attest to what will happen months from now, but the work looks great and should wear well. There is also a 1-year guarantee.

I had a little trouble setting up the first meeting via email, but once there was direct contact with Nestor Gomez, everything moved along quickly. There's not much to say but that the crew did good work and unlike some other contractors, cleaned up after themselves so that my husband and I did not have to. They reinforced and rebuilt a brick landing and brick stairs going down to our basement door. The work was excellent. We would definitely use their services again.

The crew arrived even earlier than expected, worked nonstop throughout the day, were very polite and professional. Couldn't be more pleased with the results. Would definitely recommend them.

Team of 4 was prompt and pleasant. Arrived as expected and performed very efficiently. They responded to all requests and directions I had very well. The end result was so well done, it isn't really noticable unless one looked very closely. A very pleausrable experience.
