After I bought the deal, the vendor came to the house to look at the job. He tried to interest me in a much more extensive project. I asked him to provide me with an estimate for the larger project so that I could consider it for the future, and also to come the following week to perform the services described in the deal. We agreed to the scope for 4 hours of work and agreed to a time frame for both the work to be performed and the estimate to be provided. I never heard from him again, despite attempts to contact him.

Their work was good. Obviously I have to trust them since I do not get on the roof myself, but I feel that they did an adequate job.

Workmen were professional. The work was completed in a timely manner. Cleanup was very well done.

Purchased coupon on 09/26/2013 for G.O. Contractors Masonry. Suggested dated to review work on dates of 10/02, 10/08 or 10/09. Contractor scheduled, arrived and reviewed worked to be performed on 10/23/2013 Contractor scheduled date to return and perform work on 10/29 or 10/30. Contractor did not show up to perform work nor has contractor called to explain why no show. Placed a call to contractor on 11/06/2013, left message. Have not heard from contractor!

Mr. Gomez came to my house to see that needed to be fixed, but he never came back to do the work.

bought the "big deal" for 4 hours of masonry work for $111. Scheduling was difficult. took two weeks to just get the initial consult for the work. During the consult i asked to schedule the repair time and was told the guy didnt have his calendar and that he would call to schedule later that day. I never got a call to schedule. I explained that i needed time so i could finish prep work so all the guys had to do was apply moarter. Then, the workers just showed up a couple mornings later, a week and a half before the "earliest" discussed during the consult. No call to let me know, good thing i was working from home. I was told up front it would probably take an extra hour or two to do the work. I told the initial guy that i would monitor the progress and pay more if i was happy. The workers did quality work. Two guys showed up as expected, however only one actually applied mortar to the walls, the other seemed to only mix and wait. After an hour there was very little progress, after two, very little more. They seemed to just sit and work on the same spot the entire time. Every time i came out to check on them and ask about progress they kept saying "more time". By the end of the two hours they covered half of one wall. I asked how much more time to finish the entire job and they said all day. Seemed like they were only interested in dragging the project on all day so they could charge more. I had them stop after the deal and will do the rest myself.

I thought they were going to do the repair on the day they first came out, only to find it was just scouting. They initially said they would perform the service within the week, then in email 'next week' but no contact, then weeks later they again offered 'next week' which was not acceptable. I had to hound them to get the work done. The work itself seems fine.

At first I had a little problem getting a hold of them and getting an appointment for the work that I wanted to be done. Once the appoint was set up I had no problems. The work was completed in a very friendly professional manner. They work men cleaned everything up when finished. The one little issue that I had was that I wanted to pay for the extra work above and beyond the Angie's List Big Deal with a credit card (I had stated that fact at the time of the first appointment/estimate) and had to pay and extra $25 for the use of my credit card. I paid it but would have like to know about the "extra charge" at the time of the estimate not after the work had been completed. Overall, I was very happy with the work and plan to use them again next spring to re-point and exterior wall at my home.

The job was to redo my front two steps leadingdown to the sidewalk. The workers did a wonderful job and it looks GREAT!!! The price came in the middle of my other estimates so that wasn't the problem. The major issue was communication with the owner/contractor. 95% of the communication came through Angies List even after I asked him to contact me via phone...I'm big on communication! I would contact them again for another job I have with the hope that our communication is better only because of the good job that was done.

He came out and gave an estimate that was pretty reasonable. Definitely upselling work and not working within the "Big Deal". He set up a date to come do the work. I initially agreed to do the big deal plus another ~$400 in work. His crew didn't show up, and he did not call to let me know that they were not going to come. I had to reach out to him to let him know and he was not very apologetic. He attempted to schedule again through the Angie's list (not call my cell or email me), and I never agreed to his proposed date. I was at work and he called me and said he was at my house ready to work. It was a rainy day, and I asked him if rain would affect masonry work, and he said no. I told him just do the $99 worth of work and get out. I called another masonry company the following weekend, and he said the work was not good. I'm giving that mason my business. Also, you shouldn't do masonry work in the rain per that guy. Surprised that Angie's List gave this guy a "B" rating. I've seen more than my "F" rating.

I could not actually see the finished product but saw the men doing the masonry work.... it was all done on the second story of the house mainly beneath the front windows.

A person from the company came out and we discussed what was needed. Very pleasant. He made suggestions about additional work they could do. I asked for an email copy of the plan. (didn't receive) He said that because of the special they were very busy, I said that October would actually be best for me as well because of travel. While I was in Denver mid-September, I received a call that they would be at my house the next day. I said that I was away and could they come the following day as I was flying home. I was told yes, they could come before noon that day. I stayed home all morning and no one showed up. I called, but they did not respond. I am extremely disappointed and contacted Angie's List for assistance and for a refund.

They did a very good job and they were professional. Overall I believe they did good work.

There had been little rain for about 6 weeks and the ground was very dry and hard, making the job much more difficult. If I had though of it I could have watered the areas being dug. Perhaps the contractor could consider warning future customers so the ground could be moistened. There was something of a language barrier, and at one time my instructions were not understood and a bush had to be replanted. All of the workers were respectful and pleasant. When one needed to plug in a powertool he slithered across the rug to the outlet, rather than walk on it. When one of their spades broke I brought out mine and it was returned with thanks. They cleaned up after themselves really well. It was really too bad that the job was done under such difficult conditions. The deck looks beautiful and the drainage is working well.

Initial consult to review project and get the details was repeated a second time, didn't seem to have accurate notes from the first meeting. However that was preferable to a crew showing up to do the job without the right preparation. As I was ordering materials myself and needed to know accurate quantities, I had several questions to be confirmed in order to get this right. I didn't get much assistance in this area but fortunately it was not a complex design. Crew showed up on time to start the project, worked quickly to get retaining wall built and foundation laid. Assisted with lumber delivery and finished the deck promptly. Quality of work was very good, a few minor aesthetic things that weren't up to perfectionist standards, but very good overall. Due to the varied lengths of the boards for the fence, we ended up being 3 boards short and awaiting new delivery to finish. Scheduling was a little slower getting back out to finish the job, and did not have materials for stair railing we discussed, which meant another long delay for me to find and order those supplies, and then getting someone to come back out to finish the job (close to 2 weeks before they could come). Communication and response was not great. The work was well done (with some supervision to ensure the design was accurately followed). Jaime, the crew lead, was friendly and tackled each new challenge with a good solution. Overall I'm very satisfied with the results and would use again.

The provider called in the morning to say he was on the way and then never showed up. He didn't call again. Just never showed up. English wasn't his first language and it was very difficult to communicate with him. So we paid for a service we did not receive.

Did not follow through. Did not show up for appointment, nor did they return my phone calls.

Look at the reviews left by other unsatisfied customers. I experienced the same problems - difficulty contacting the company, poor communication, cancelled appointment at the last minute, finally showed up for an appointment two hours late, not available for the next two months, promises to call not fulfilled. He seemed disappointed that it wasn't a bigger job.

I am painting the exterior of my house and they built me a platform. Their specialty is decks. They spent an extra ten hours working for me. I was not satisfied and it is because they did not follow my plans. Eventually it was done to where I was satisfied. It was frustrating that they were not following my directions. In the end, it came out fine. I had to buy extra materials because they had used the materials to build a deck instead of a platform. A big problem was a supervisor never showed up. It looks great. I would use them again, if the supervisor was to visit the sight and he tells the crew what to do.

It took a while to get the work done but they did a good job and we paid for some additional work beyond what the Big Deal covered. They were slow to invoice us but ultimately the work was well done and looks good. They did a good job matching the color of the morter (grout?). I thought their price was ok.

I asked them to repair my front door step. Instead they tried to upsell me to do more extensive work that I do not need. I have been trading calls and emails for over 10 weeks trying to get him to come to the work I want. As yet, he has not set a date nor lived up to the terms of the Big Deal. Update on 11/8/2013: Still no reply to my repeated emails or voicemails.

The service provider was very responsive over email, but failed to show up for an estimate. He called 1 hour after our scheduled appointment and said he wasn't going to make it.

We did not have a good experience with them. They came out to inspect the work that we wanted them to do. He was prompt, on time, I was feeling really good about it, and then we never saw them again or heard from them again. He said he was going to come back out later that week and that was the last we heard of him. We really haven't spent a lot of time trying to track them down, but whenever we've reached out to them, we haven't gotten much from them. Like I said, they were very professional at first.

After months of calling and leaving messages and accommodating requests to reschedule and no shows, I gave up. Mr. Gomez showed up in November to see the scope of work I had and stated he would call the next week with a date for doing the work. The work has never been done, I have never received a refund. The work is needed on the back of my rowhouse. A couple of times Mr. Gomez either stated or implied that he could have his employees come by because they were working nearby or there was a window of opportunity. I told him repeatedly that I needed advance notice because my backyard is secured and I would need to leave my gate unlocked. Despite set days and times, no crew ever showed to do the work and my last 3 voicemail messges went unaddressed.
