Jarlath Galvin called me right back and came over quickly to assess the job. He was personable and professional. However, we ran into scheduling problems because he had a family member coming from Ireland for a visit. He made an initial appointment, came and installed an overhead fan, but then had to leave. We scheduled another appointment, which he was unable to keep because something came up. I was disappointed and contacted another electrician on your list. My Garvin did excellent work on the overhead installation, but my list was much longer and he was unable to do the work when scheduled. I think it was just bad timing for my job.

My friend recommended HomeAdvisor, so I decided to give them a try. No sooner did I fill out the questionaire then my phone rang. It was Jarlath Galvin, the electrician. I told him that I needed to install some lights in my basement, he told me he would be over that afternoon. I told him I would be around all day, he even showed up early! He is professional, prompt and courteous. Very fair in his pricing, he is a delight!

Mr Galvin was very professional and a pleasure to work with. He provided great options for the installation of some recessed LED lighting and the mounting of a flat-screen TV above my fireplace. The project exceeded my expectations in appearance and the final results. He was extremely competent and knew exactly what needed to be done. With older homes, there can be surprises behind the wall, and he was ready for them. I would definitely recommend hiring him for any remodel or retrofit job you may have... I would hire him again for any electrical work I needed done!

Jarlath was called on a Saturday afternoon. After working all day, he still found time to help me out after 4 others had said no due to it being a Saturday. He told me a time and arrived 30 minutes earlier. This helped me even more as I had renters arriving later that day. Jarlath is extremely knowledgable and personable. His rates were very fair. Jarlath - arrived as scheduled Sat morning at 8 AM. He installed our new lamppost with perfection. We did not have an outdoor connection and he suggested he install one on the outside of our lamppost and left for about 10 minutes to go to our local hardware store himself to purchase, come back and install. He installed our new globe on top of the lamppost and checked our inside house and outside connection to ensure everything was working properly. It made us so happy to have our walkway light up again, and we look forward to a couple of inside projects with Jarlath this fall, as he gave us a quick walk thought with suggestions on how to enhance our kitchen lighting problems.
