Called the company inquiring about availability and was told he could squeeze me in same day. He was very responsive and finished the work very quickly. He also helped point out a couple of other issues with the door that I should look into. Overall a great experience and would definitely bring back in for any locksmith needs I may have.

Star Locksmith was prompt and professional. They arrived on time and completed a rather small job in a minimal amount of time, charging us only their very reasonable service fee. The locksmith also gave the door lock and deadbolt a look over and told us that the locks were in good condition and set up properly.

Add was misrepresented. The locksmith came on time and performed the task in minutes. He mentioned that the add was written wrong and the Money paid was for just a consultation.. Never have I been charged for anyone to come and give me an estimate for any kind of job. Perhaps I am naive. He did however apply the charge for the estimate, after some discussion, to the cost of removing the lock. I must say I was a bit disappointed as this was my first purchase from Angie's list.

I was not there and my husband was. I was not at home when he came but overall, it looked fine to me. Everything is working. I thought it was a little pricey. The quality was good and I don’t have any complaints on that.

It was fine, not so good. I wanted to replace the locks, it was 4 on the purchase, but when he came and mentioned that I just needed 3 and not 4. They were on time.

I contacted Star Locksmith as soon as the problem was discovered, but it was already close to 5 PM. The locksmith offered to come to the house after hours, but I opted for an appointment on the following day. While we were on the phone, the locksmith explained his charges (e.g., so much for the house call, so much for the repair and so on). The next morning, at approximately 20 minutes before the scheduled appointment, I received a call from the locksmith, who let me know that he would be at the house shortly. The locksmith first attempted to repair the lock mechanism, but then determined that an internal component was actually broken. He offered two options. One was to replace just the (internal) bolt section of the lock with a comparable (but not completely identical) component. The second option was to replace the entire lock. I asked about the price and functional differences between the two options. These were explained in detail. Based on that explanation, I opted for doing the replacement. While he was at the house, I also asked the locksmith if he could look at another deadbolt, which was difficult to operate. He removed and disassembled the lock, tightened some of the internal screws, oiled the mechanism and re-installed it. All work was completed very quickly and very neatly. The locksmith also included a couple of spare keys.

He was excellent. I made an appt then had to cancel due to travel plans. He easily rescheduled and came out right away upon my return. He was professional, quick and gave me two extra keys. I would use him again in an instant. Great work.

Very good service, strong customer orientation, flexible mindset. They thoroughly queried the issues over the phone and dispatched someone rapidly even though I had signalled that the scope was not excactly what was offered in the deal. I had a security problem in a new condo as the deadbolt would no longer enter the doorframe, the door handle would no longer click in and I had never been given any keys. The guy changed or fixed everything, gave me new keys, and all in less than hour.
