Description of Work: I needed someone to look at our dryer to determine if it could be fixed or junked. I called on a Saturday around noon and they scheduled me for Monday. Then they called back to say they had a cancellation and could come by that afternoon. What great service! The technician quickly took a look and indicated that he could fix it and gave me a quote. I ultimately decided to buy a new dryer instead. But their service was great!

Description of Work: Washing machine of 4 years died. AAARGH! Called Same day service and although they couldn't come the same day, the did come a couple of days later. As I suspected, the cost of repair was not worth it, so no repair was done, but I did have to pay a $90.00 service fee. The technician was very professional and answered any and all questions I had. It was great to have someone who actually knew what they were talking about!

Description of Work: They diagnosed problems with my dishwasher and oven. The circuit board was replaced in the oven and when that didn't fix the problem, they replaced the broiler element at no charge. The repair for the dishwasher cost more than we wanted to spend on an older machine, so we decided to buy an new one. Our repairman was on time and very professional. I would use them again.

Description of Work: Same Day came out the next day as agreed. They drained the extra water out of the dishwasher and reattached the handle to the oven door. They were done in a short period time and the price was reasonable.

Description of Work: Replaced fan on refrigerator. Did not have parts so came back the next day to finish repairs. i was away at the time so had to do everything by phone They were great, cleaned everything up and replaced the food that I had to leave out in the snow when the frig died.

Description of Work: Oven and microwave did not work. Service person removed the appliance, checked the internal fuses, and finally determined that there was no power to the junction box, so I needed to hire an electrician to fix the problem.

Description of Work: I would use them again. What they did I could have fixed. It was a small issue I overlooked. However, that's my fault, not theirs. And they have to cover costs to come out, I understand. I just thought it was still pricey (I'm estimating cost/can't find exact price) despite that. He fixed it quickly.

Description of Work: Same Day Service came to fix my old GE SpaceSaver range. Very responsive and professional team on the phone. Service came and diagnosed the problem then replaced the part. The range worked when they left. Unfortunately, after they left, it stopped working again the same day. I declined to have them come back because the only potential course of action was to replace an even more expensive part and I was not willing to pay for that. I called to explain the situation and was given a 50% refund on the repair. Still waiting for that check. I think they handled this well.

Description of Work: He charged me for the visit. Estimated cost for fixing dishwasher: $500. I can buy a new one for that. Needed new control pad (on/off buttons). He said I also needed a new motor. Dishwasher is 3 years old.
