great the guy was very knowledgeable. our dishwasher is a Bosch and I guess some people won't service them. this guy knew right away what was most likely the problem some Bosch related auto anti flood switch had triggered. but he also fixed another part that was aging to prevent future problems. he was very cheerful and friendly and helpful

Drain pump seized up on our dishwasher and simply stopped working. Same Day Service came promptly, figured out the problem, told me exactly what the process would be to replace the drain pump and how much it would cost, and honored the Angie's List coupon. As I had been told, they called 5 days later when they had the new drain pump, came the next day and installed it, tested the machine, and cleaned up. Both men were helpful, courteous and professional. I'll call them any time I need help with an appliance.

I called in the morning, and was able to have a tech come that same day. Jeff was great. He arrived within the time window the company had provided over the phone. Jeff took the refrigerator apart and concluded that thermostat assembly & heater had gone, and a complete replacement would cost $580. He presented me with clear options and explained how the problem had occurred. When I informed him I'd just buy a new one, he offered maintenance advice to keep the new one running well. I would call them again in the future for large appliance repairs.

Very well. During the initial esimate, the repair person took time and great care in explaining the problem and listing options. He arrived promptly for the repair, and after replacing the broken parts, offered several suggestions to improve use and maintenance of the dishwasher.

I found Same Day Service (SDS) on Angie's List last night; went to their website and entered a service request. I got a call @ 8:30 from SDS this morning acknowledging the request and offering that they could send someone here today who would call me 30 minutes before arrival. He called @ 9:30 to let me know that he could be here in 30 minutes. He was here in 30 minutes!!! Within 10 minutes he had diagnosed the problem and within 45 he had completed the repair. Excellent service!!!

Got there within an hour on a Saturday! Very friendly nice person with good manners. Was quoted per job, not by time which is so much safer, you know what you are getting into.

I called Same Day in the afternoon, and they were able to come out the next day. On their visit, they identified the parts that were needed. 2 of the repair parts were in stock but 1 part needed to be ordered. This took 2 days. They then scheduled an appt with me to install the part the following day.

They are very reasonable, and they quote you the price right away. They are really nice people and their quality of work has been fine. You can get an appointment immediately and they are very available. The freezer broke over the Memorial Day weekend, and while they couldn?t come over the weekend, they were here first thing Tuesday morning.

It took less time than I thought. The washer works great now!

Came when they said they would. Diagnosed problem and explained repairs needed and why. Estimated repairs. Fixed the problem as outlined. Good company.

Very well, they offered to send someone to the hous if possible that day (May 7, 2009) , ut I was going to be unavailable. We resulted in getting some one in on May 8 in the morning. The technician arrived by 10am with a call about 30 minutes before arrival so I could meet him at the house. The diagnosis was almost instant and the repair took until about 11:30am to get it all apart and replace the circulation fan motor and thermostat and get everythign defrosted and back together.

very professional from start to finish. They allowed my young boys to watch what they were doing and explained things to them along the way. they loved it!

I was satisfied with the work and the technician. Took two days to complete, due to part on order. Good work, but not cheap.

Our gas dryer stopped getting hot. It would just cycle without heat for hours and hours and the clothes did not get dry. SDC cleaned the vents, and did some temperature test. The technician found the dryer was actually overheating and the motor, burner coils, and drive assembly needed to be replaced. He had everything in his truck, and the diagnostic and repair time from start to finish was just under 2 hours.

I found them to be very prompt and responsive to my requests. Once an appointment is fixed, they call ahead of time so I can be at home. We've had the same serviceman here 3 times, which I like and he knows our equipment well. He came to repair the washing machine and noticed that our dryer has some problem which could cause some serious problem. He took care of that as well for a reasonable cost. I was very pleased with that.

Prompt service. Technician was skilled and communicated well what he was doing and the various options based on price. I would highly recommend this company.

Same Day Service came the day after we called. Mekti showed up early, assessed the situation, told us what the part would cost, when it would be ordered and when it could be installed. He was charming and informative. Mike showed up five days later, as promised, with the part to install, also arriving earlier than expected, and was also charming and informative. They were both friendly to our rambunctious dogs and were extremely knowledgeable about the other appliances in our home. We will absolutely use them in the future.

Their technicians explained what they were doing and why. They came in when they said they were going to come. They were professional and friendly. They cleaned up after themselves and were courteous about other things in the house.

Technician came to house and quickly diagnosed the problem. They needed to order the part, so it was several days before it was actually fixed, but they were very good at keeping me up to date and scheduling once the part came in.

Their service is very good. They were extremely timely on their response. They followed through and got the repairs done correctly. Ever since they fixed them the appliances have worked fine without problem.

I called and they sent a technician within a couple of hours. Fantastic. Wayne was courteous, prompt and professional. He said the problem was some fried wires at the bottom of the machine. I was a little miffed that I had mentioned this to SDS the last time they were here. Wayne offered me 10% off, but I already have that as an Angie's List member. He then said it was important to have a happy customer and offered me 20% off. My handyman said he could have done it for under $45 (his hourly charge) but it could have been a more serious issue and I feel confident that SDS will honor their work.

Exceptionally well. Service person called to tell me when he would arrive, showed up on time. Diagnosed the problem very quickly, gave me an exact price and performed the work. In total it took less than a half hour. Very nice guy. Would definitely use Same Day Service again.

Our washer had been smoking after a recent load, so I requested a contact from Same Day via their website. They called and came the next day (I emailed on a Sunday night). Their tech came out, checked the machine, talked to my wife about what happened, and told her that there's actually no need to do anything, and instructed her on how best to use a front-load washer (we've never used one before moving into our new home last month). He could have easily pushed us to buy a new motor, belt, etc., but he was honest and fair.

It went very well the technician was very thorough, efficient, and knowledgeable.

I e-mailed the company the day after Christmas; they called me the next morning at 8:30AM to set up an appointment for that same day. The technician was great. He knew his stuff: got the oven out of the cabinet, walls off, motor and wiring exposed. Then he tested to find the circuit or switch that was not responding. To save money, we elected to order the parts online and to replace the switch ourselves. (After watching him dis-assemble and re-assemble the oven, we know we can easily and safely replace the switch ourselves. That will save us a return trip from SameDayService, and will save us several hundred dollars in repair costs.) The technician was clean, tidy, pleasant, good-natured, knowledgeable. The Saturday service did not cost more than weekday service. He was willing to diagnose the problem for just the regular service call fee of $75.99 (no Angie's List discount for service, only for the repairs), and to let us finish the task by ordering the parts and repairing it ourselves. Otherwise, the return trip would have cost several hundred dollars, he estimated. (Found the part online for $117; installation will be "free.") Far superior to the repairman who came to fix my dryer two weeks ago. He was several hours late; did not call; was not clean; left parts on the floor; and did not seem to know his stuff. Their cost was just as high as SameDayService: that is, $75 for the assessment, even if they cannot do anything for you. I will definitely call SameDay in the future even for Kenmore products.
