Antoniel Painting & Finish

Initially, took a few times to get a hold of them: but after that: 1) Showed up when they said they were going to show up: date/time, 2) Very professional/nice/respectful, 3) Knowledgeable, 4) Did exactly what I asked (in terms of what I needed done), 5) Door/Handrails/Trim all turned out great (Haiden/Raiden did the custom cuts for the trim - excellent job), and 6) Cleaned up after themselves. I couldn't have asked for a better job! Thank you!

I needed quite a bit of prep work. It took 1 day for prep work and 1 day for painting.

I spotted Antoniel on Angies list and called to inquire about scheduling an appointment to get an estimate. When I called I inquired about one of their specials (I believe it was 2 painters for a day for 399) on this website. When I called they said they would call me back, hanging up with no explanation. About 3 minutes later, that offer was removed and I could no longer purchase. I found that timing to be interesting. Anyway, Antoniel did end up coming out and quoted us $6800 for the interior. He did not bother to explain his process or how long it would take or how big the crew would be. He just kept saying over and over, "I give you good price," "I give you good price". Also, it in our opinion, he made us feel like we were bothering him with our job. He was not the friendliest of visitors. Based on all of the deals they were advertising, the cost did not make any sense, so we went price shopping - thankfully. We brought in three other company's to give estimates, and the second highest came in at $3500. They were all in the same general range but all around 50% less than Antoniel's $6800 price. For 3800 Antoniel said he could only do our family room, dining room and office - not even half our house. I told Carla about this when she placed a follow-up call but she played the "we are so highly reviewed" and "our quality of work is best" and "the other company's are trying to make a quick buck" cards - just a heads up, Carla, your company is not the only highly rated company. All other company's I called to give estimates (and the one I hired) are highly reviewed. In short, I'm glad we price shopped. We will not look at this company again.

They got both projects done in the same day and were very professional. I would definitely hire them again.

Antoniel and his crew worked hard and diligently. They prepped the area and cleaned up everything when they were done. I am very pleased with the work and would hire them again should I need other projects done at my house or rental property.

Antoniel showed up on time and worked hard to finish painting my trims. His was professional and cleaned up when he was done. I would consider him a master painter and would hire him again when I have the budget for my other projects.

Antoniel arrived at the agreed upon time & assessed the problem. His workers went to a local Home Depot to procure the items necessary to do the job. They worked efficiently to replace the damaged wood and prime the new ( pressure treated ) wood. Antonella & his workers were courteous & professional. The deal on Angie's list cost $299.00.When I scheduled the work I was told that I could get my own materials or pay $30 " runners fee" & reimburse Antoniel for the materials. I chose to do this & the total came to $100.59. I would hire Antoniel again based on this experience.

It went fine, the work was done well. My only complaint was that I paid for 8 hours of time and he finished in 6. I was happy with the work but it would have been nice if he, at least, asked if there was anything else he could do.

It went very well. Workers arrived on time, did an excellent job and cleaned up properly. After repairing porch they continued other needed work until I ran out of supplies. I asked for a business card and would call Antoniel for future home repairs or painting.

Great - the workers constructed the face frame from materials provided. Given the house is old and nothing is square, working out the spacing and leveling of the cabinet doors was challenging, but they came up with a solution that looks great.

Very well. The price was higher than I would have liked because there was a lot of scraping and caulking. But very satisfied overall.

Two men showed up early, worked hard the entire time, did a good job removing old wallpaper in kitchen, patched areas that needed and cleaned up before leaving.

Antoniel and his two assistants did excellent work for about 4 hours and were able to correct a number of carpentry issues. They were friendly, professional and responsive to suggestions.

They did a wonderful job. They completely filled out the contract. They were here for 8 hours. I give them high marks. I'd be pleased to recommend them and to use them again.

Once we actually made contact, fine. It took multiple attempts to connect--calling the number listed was frustrating, not avery professional introduction to Anotniel at all. Once Antoniel reached out directly, it went smoothly. Polite, cleaned up after themselves, and. I was happy with the results.

Were over 3 hours late to give us an estimate. Said immediately that Angie's List deal wouldn't apply because of all the scraping needed. Said it would cost $7,000 to paint the house but refused to give a breakdown of that cost.

I couldn't be happier with the job performed by Antoniel Painting & Finish. They contacted me promptly and were happy to answer any questions I may have had be it through email or telephone. Their crew did an amazing job painting our home, from the very thorough prep work to the finished coat of paint. On top of being professionals and very very good at their jobs every involved was extremely friendly and pleasant to chat with, which is essential when you have someone at your home for multiple days. I can't recommend them enough!

I knew painting 2 rooms would take a while, and bought a deal for 8 hours of work. Based on my own experience, it looked like about 9 hours to complete, so I was expecting the rooms to not be entirely finished, and told them if they needed to skip a 2nd coat in one of them, I understood. However, much less was done than I expected, as they didn't even finished with the single coat. I gave a 'B' based on the work compared to cost. I got about $200 worth of work - so I guess you get what you pay for. However, if I were to rate based on time, I would give a 'D'. I am entirely certain this is a low-level scam, where they send a single painter, plus another 'person', so that the 8 hours of work only takes 4 hours of their painters time, but they still get to claim 8 hours total. In my estimate, I'd say that I got a good 5 hours of actual painting time. So, I had to finish the job myself, and fix a lot of their errors. I've attached a picture of where the drips were the worst. Most of the rooms turned out well, or as well as could be for a single coat, but around an hour of my time was spent cleaning up their messes. My recommendation: they are fine painters if you base it on the money, but ignore any 'deals' they offer.

They did a very good job, at a reasonable price, and on agreed-upon schedule.

I bought a deal for 8 hrs wallpaper removal, wall repair and paint. When Antoniel started the work, they discovered that there was no wallpaper under the old paint in any area other than the spot I had uncovered! They were very concerned that I get the full 8 hours, and everything was finished nicely.
