He and his coworker worked very hard. The yard looked noticeably better and we are pleased with the quality of the work. He is a pretty straightforward guy to work with and even helped get us a discount on some of our shrub purchases. We recommended him to family members and did a good job there as well...and was flexible to a late cancellation.

Dave gave me a quote of $600 to aerate my lawn, do a spring clean up and take away debris. My yard is about .4 acres. I told him there was a couple years worth of leaves in the corner of my yard. Dave said he would come Thursday morning. They were four hours late. After they were at my house a couple hours, Dave said: we can't do your job for $600. He wanted $1000 on top of the $600 that he quoted to do the job. He said, there are more leaves than we anticipated in this corner. He has a very little trailer that can fit about a tarp full of leaves. He said it would take him hours to remove the leaves. I reminded him that his quote included removing the leaves. He had my addrHe said it was more work than he anticipated. I said, you should have told me that when you gave me the quote. You could have also told me that before you started the job. To raise your price in the middle of the job? NOT FAIR. I looked at the work he did. The aeration ripped up my lawn. My beds still had many leaves and branches. He refused to take the leaves away. His last offer was to take the leaves away for an additional $200, so for a total of $800. I refused. I told him I was not satisfied with the clean up. Very unprofessional. In the end, I paid him for part of the job just to get him off my property.

Purchased an Angie's List Deal for Lawn Aeration. I was contacted promptly requesting follow up information. Several days later, the lawn was aerated! Thanks for a great experience.

The gentleman was polite and professional. Told me exactly what I needed without trying to sell me more than I needed!!! I would definitely use this company in the future!

This one was a very nice guy really trying to help and do everything properly. Performed a really good job despite my lawn having big rocks here and there. Again, very nice and not really pushing any other services and unnecessary things like many other people do. Will use his services again.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and he was great. He was fast and conscientious. He had to bring all the leaves off the lawn before he could do the work so he put them all in our leaf pile himself instead of having us do it. He was nice that way. I was not here, but my roommate said he did a very thorough job. We spent an additional $300 to get the aeration and fall fertilization since the de-thatching was the only thing included in the Big Deal. There was some misunderstanding and he came on a different day and later than we expected. I don't know what happened.

He called right away, did it within days, quick My only issue, and I am assuming this is how it is. Where the plus were pulled the grass died all around it. This is a lawn thats had no maintenance on so hoping in a couple years I see some good progress!

Dave got back to my request for a quote within an hour. He showed up when he said he would, and completed the work very quickly. He did a thorough and professional job. Although I had cleared the leaves off of our lawn the day before, they come down almost continuously in mid-October, so Dave used a blower to clear the the worst areas before aerating. After he was done, he spent some time giving me some advice on lawn care. I will definitely use Merrimack Aerating again!

I thought the work was performed professionally and efficiently. I received helpful information about improving the quality of my lawn as well as what products to purchase in an effort to achieve this goal.

The service was fine. It was just as expected. I am very happy with them. I would probably use them again. I never met the guy. It was just exchanged by e-mail. The work got done.

The service was excellent. They did a nice job. They were great. They were prompt. They called me and scheduled an appointment. They came out and did the work. He was a good guy. He gave me some recommendations along with the stuff that he had to do. The price was good. Actually, he is doing some more work for me right now, this weekend.

Mission Completed and the service was EXCELLENT! My professional contractor, David, communicated with me, as promised. He waited until I arrived at home to an agreed upon time. He even acommodated my time until I was there to do what was requested. He even did leaf blowing to remove the leaves first - and at 'no charge'!!! It was WONDERFUL. He gave good advice and said my soil was healthy, he even offered seeding and fertilizing if needed. AAA+++ Very professional, indeed and very determined, enthusiastic and energetic. If the world had more honest hard working souls like this there wouldn't have to be an Angies List, although I'm glad they referred him. Angies list always advertises 'out of area' contractors, when they don't even put this on their advert. I would definitely use Merrimack Valley Aerating again, but no through Angies list. He drove all the way from Westford, MA to Milford, NH without any complaints and finished the job in a timely fashion and highly professional manner. Thank you David! Dave was great with communication, showed up on time, and did a great job. I had done some repair work on my lawn a few weeks ago and her was careful not to tear up the new grass. I bought an AngiesList Deal, and he was quick to schedule, which was appreciated. I'd recommend Merrimack Aerating for any future job and will use them again.

Another happy customer. Dave did a great job and was careful with some new areas I had planted. He has modern equipment, and he's attentive to what he's doing. He also spread my fertilizer for me (I supplied fertilizer) after aeration. He's a nice guy too. I'd certainly use him again.

Went very well, what I liked was that he fertilized it as an extra service. I provided the fertilizer but he spread it. One less thing to do for me. Seemed to be a one man operation, he worked quickly, also english was first language.

It was cheaper to go directly through the company for the service.

Trimmed the shrubs, cut the trees, did the aeration for the lawn.

Everything went excellent. They answered emails very fast and did a great job.

Very prompt response from provider, was able to perform the service at the time I wanted and showed up on time. The aeration was done effectively and covered entire lawn. Can't ask for more than that.

After aerating my lawn, David suggested he could remove several tree stumps that were in a couple of places in the lawn. Provided this service promptly and as he described. Satisfied completely with his work.

It went great! He was able to come within an hour or two of our conversation and got right to work. We walked through my yard to discuss options for a few issues I am having and I will certainly be using him again throughout the season and for seasons to come!

Quick response and came with rental. I provided seed and everything was done in about 2 hrs. Gave me suggestions on items that I wanted to do as a first time home buyer and that helped immensely.
