Five Star Ventilation

I had them out in 2018 to replace a wood stove flue. I was given a lifetime warranty on all stainless steel parts and labor. No where in the paper work did it say I must use them to service my wood stove. The Stainless Steel Tee failed this year, and when I called in a warranty claim I was yelled at and told that my warranty was void because I did not use them for service. They seemed to only want to hang up on me and get out of fixing the faulty product they sold me. They do not stand behind their work; look elsewhere.

I feel this company was very good and staff pleasant. They cleaned, re-lined a flu, capped 3, and fixed a few brick, retipping that area. Great work but the price was steep.

They are pros, we worked with two teams, both were outstanding.

Jimmy and Mike were at my house for almost an hour to do a thorough inspection in order to put together an appropriate quote for the proposed work. Mike explained everything clearly. This all helped ensure no surprises for any of us. The work was completed carefully and professionally a few days later.

We were aware of a problem with our chimney and contacted 5 Star. Sean and Marcos came out the next day, did a thorough inspection, took pictures of the problems they identified and explained what needed to be done, and completed the work that same day. They were very professional, courteous, and charged a fair price.

I had an emergency to replace a condemned furnace from Tuesday. I couldn't get new one installed till I had chimney inspected and add a liner if need. I ended up needing the liner. They installed same day. They came out Wednesday. I was able to get new furnace installed Thursday.

The 2 workmen showed up at 8:01 ( scheduled 8-8:30 Sean was extremely polite and very professional he took pictures on his iPad and explained and showed us everything inside our chimney. He found a kink in our furnace flue and stayed that day to install a liner. Went very well. The only issue was it was expensive and we were not offered financing which we might have gotten because it was an unexpected $4000.00 But the service was impeccable. Weâ ve already been bragging to our friends about them both Sean and Marcos . Thanks again
