I found Gordon and Bonded Lock Service Inc on Angie's List and am glad that I did. He's more than pleasant, professional, punctual and answers the phone into the late hours of the evening. I first called Gordon for an estimate on installing a Schlage touchscreen deadbolt because he has a lot of deals on Angie's List and I wasn't sure which would be the most cost-appropriate. We exchanged a few quick text messages so I could send him pictures of our existing lock and of the hardware that we wanted to have installed, figured out pricing (super reasonable!!), and agreed on a 2-hour window for him to come out. He called me about an hour beforehand, was on time, a super nice guy, was great navigating my two toddlers and our dog while performing all of the work. We also wanted to have a new handle installed to match the deadbolt but he explained that we would need a carpenter to do some patchwork first on the door and recommended someone he uses in case we decide to move forward with that -- I would of course then have Gordon install the new hardware on the inside and outside of the door. I quickly realized after he left that the exterior push-button latch wasn't working and called him the following morning and he quickly and simply walked me through how to make the adjustment and now everything works perfectly!! There's not much else I can say about Gordon other than as a new homeowner, I will definitely be calling Bonded Lock Service Inc any time I need a locksmith and will more than be recommending him to anyone within his service range -- I imagine he'll travel, too, since he seems like such a sincere and honest tradesman. He is probably the first professional I've found on Angie's List and if others are as good as him, then I'll be a very happy camper. Thanks again Gordon!!

It went very well. He was running late due to an emergency, but he kept in touch so we weren't left guessing, which was much appreciated. When he arrived, he did a thorough job and charged a reasonable price. He was also very pleasant to deal with.

Gordon was great and was methodical about doing the job right. He spent a great deal of time fixing my backdoor that was not done correctly the first time. The locks were practically hanging off and now the door closes properly and locks.

I contacted Gordon when I was recovering from a broken hip and unable to use the stairs very much. The buzzer lock was not working properly and this was my way of granting access to my house to the various health care professionals coming on an almost daily basis. Gordon came (called twice when delayed a few minutes!), initially tried to repair the lock but it was not responding satisfactorily. When Gordon realized that he didn't have a the matching strike lock component in the truck, he called the supplier and somehow got them to stay open a bit longer, got the piece and came back to my house and finished the job. He could have left me with a non working piece until the next day but he kindly went out of his way to get the needed component and finish the job, working into the early evening. He is a great guy and I highly recommend him

This month I took advantage of the special deal that Angie?s List offered at a time I needed locksmith service. I had used Bonded Lock Service a few years back and at that time was equally impressed with their professional service. Gordon Silva, who is a very pleasant man, was very thorough and precise with installing and re-keying my locks. He offered good suggestions and provided knowledge about his quality services for any future needs I may have. Gordon cleans up after his work and makes sure all keys and locks are in workable condition prior to his leaving the premises. He also records every key he makes which will be helpful should I need him to make a duplicate when needed. I will continue using Bonded Lock Service for any future lock services that I may encounter. A year ago I used another locksmith that was referred by a neighbor and I was not satisfied with the quality of service or with the installer who was the owner. He left a mess after installing a new dead bolt lock and expected me to clean up afterwards. What a relief to reacquaint myself with Bonded Lock. Gordon is very knowledgeable in his field and very accommodating. I have recommended the company to my friends should they ever be in need of a locksmith. .

We needed to get our locks changed after moving into our new condo. Gordon was very professional and quick. He showed up when he promised and did his work while I did the million other things that needed to be done before moving in. I would recommend him to anyone in the area.

My deadbolt lock broke such that I couldn't unlock it. I called Bonded Lock Service and Gordon answered the phone. He made an appointment to come to my home a little after work. Because of a previous job that ran late he was late getting to my place, but he called to let me know, and then called when he was finished with the other job and on his way to my home. Once he got here he quickly figured out how to fix the deadbolt. He also offered to rekey the lock so I could use one key for all my locks.* Gordon also noticed that the deadbolt was missing a metal ring that provides extra security. He added that. He also discovered that my door hinge was missing a vital screw, and that the screws used to attach my door to the jam were too short. He fixed that. Likewise, he replaced the short screws used for the deadbolt frame with longer screws. He explained what he was doing and why as he worked, and also pointed out general features about my locks. I really appreciated him educating me about how house locks work. Overall I'm really glad I called Bonded Lock Service. Gordon was very professional and pleasant, and showed he had real knowledge, skill, pride in his work. *Originally my deadbolts and door locks all used one key, but I got locked out one day and unwittingly called a gypsy locksmith service. They charged me $400 to get me into my place and completely replaced the deadbolt with what turns out to be a second market lock. And the guy claimed their credit card machine wasn't working so I ended up paying cash. I wish I had been on Angie's List back then!!!

The whole experience was great. Gordon came out the same week I called, called me a couple of times to let me know he was running a bit behind and did a thorough job of re-keying everything. He offered several tidbits of information regarding our locks too which were helpful!

I lost my key at the gym today and called Gordon when I realized that I had lost it. He came over within an hour and re-keyed our locks. He also spent some time trying to make a key for a lock that we've never had a key to, which was no small task! And on top of that, he also fixed some little things on the doors he was working on that weren't quite right. They were just things that he noticed as he worked that he had no obligation to fix or even mention, but did anyway. The locks and the new keys are working like a charm now.

Bob showed up early, so he was ready to go when I pulled up. We needed locks rekeyed for our new house. The front door was stuck and the lock was seriously screwed up. Bob spent a good amount of time getting that door unstuck and repairing the lock. When he was ready to get to the rekeying and deadbolt install, he finished in less than the time he quoted me. Bob was friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. He did his best to keep my costs down. I would use Bonded Lock again and request Bob's services.

While he was getting ready to set up to be able to break into the 1995 Subaru Legacy Sedan, I ran upstairs with the newly made key and obtained entrance into my bedroom. Once inside the bedroom, I then found the original set of car keys and was able to get access into my trunk of my car. One thing about Gordon, he doesn't keep keys but he keeps excellent records and records every key he makes which helps to make a duplicate when you are stranded. He is very organized, quick and gets results every time. I've been using this company for more than 20 years and he's the only locksmith I will deal with. If you want results and a job done right, give Bonded Lock a call and you will be totally satisfied every time.

He was late through no fault of his own, but it was quite late. He did keep me informed, and luckily this was an ok day for me to hang around. A very lovely, professional man, who fixed everything and explained everything. Probably the price was ok, but I had no idea how much this would cost. I totally trusted his work, and everything works better than it has in 15 years. Would definitely call him again.

I called after our back door lock broke and could only be locked from inside. They were prompt in responding and arrived on time. I wish that I had asked for an estimate before they arrived, as the cost was more than I expected. They did a good job, and were probably no more expensive than any other locksmith, but more than we were expecting.

He worked quickly. There was no sign he was even here. I was actually surprised and very impressed. He charged me for changing 4 locks and making 8 keys. He was very kind, patient, and professional. I would highly recommend this business to anyone.

Great service - called at 7pm because I had a bathroom door that got locked accidentally and we needed access. It turned out that the door, which was new, had the lock installed backwards so the lock just couldn't be "popped". Super nice guy, took a while but he got it done and they came within an hour being called. Would use them again in a minute!

Gordon could not have been more professional or kind. He offered me several options with various prices for the locks and did not pressure me into choosing one over the other, He explained everything that had to be done and why. He came exactly when he was supposed to and scheduled the appointment around my crazy schedule.

Gordon answered the phone on the 2nd ring and had someone out to repair our burglarized front door within 2 hours. Bob was professional, knowledgable and did a great job securing the door and providing our home with renewed sense of security.

Over a number of years, the locks on my doors had been replaced and we were using 3 or 4 different keys. I wanted to have everything on one key. Gordon came out very promptly to assess the situation. He is very knowledgable and made a number of great suggestions. He added a deadbolt, re-keyed all the locks and adjusted the front door latch so that it caught perfectly when closed. The job was completed very professionally and he was thoughtful enough to let me know he had to pick up supplies and would be a little late. I would absolutely use Bonded Lock Service again

I was so pleased with the service. He seemed very special. He was very talented. Not every locksmith can take the guts of the lock apart and assemble it so it is good as new.

We called Gordon mid-day on a Friday to release a stuck knob and replace an existing lock with something more sturdy. He was able to make a service call the same day. He arrived on time in the afternoon and was willing and able to work into the evening on a Friday to complete the job. He first attempted to repair the failed knob but found it broken internally. He then assessed our options for replacing the knob, ultimately finding that no replacement was necessary and instead he could retain the exterior hardware and disable the knob internally. This approach saved us ~$120. He then installed a deadbolt to replace the existing lock which was relatively flimsy. The installation proceeded smoothly and the work was performed with high quality. He cleaned up thoroughly after the work was done. Gordon went above and beyond during the service call. He is extremely knowledgeable about his profession and happily shared insights with us about our locks and keys. I highly recommend Gordon and would gladly use his services again.
