Excellent - fixed the boiler as part of standard service and remounted the thermostat that was not mounted properly at no additional charge. Very nice and professional service.

DAW was incredibly thorough in the tuneup after I mentioned that there was a smell "like Grandma's house." He spent two hours running tests and looking for any possible reason for the smell. He explained every step along the way so we knew what he was doing. He was terrific.

They did a thorough tune up on two separate furnaces on 2 seperate floors. Dave Smith was very nice, he answered all my questions even when I asked a variety of questions multiple times. I liked dealing with him because it felt like the conversation was honest and straightforward. I had to replace a furnace. He explained the proposal. He was very forthcoming. He shared some personal stuff with me that made me feel more confident with the service. He gave me complete and concise information about the finance information and my other options. He was very accommodating and comprehensive on his explanation. I was very apprehensive, because this was a big job. He didn't give me a hard time when I requested his license information. He honored my request and willingly provided me with his credentials. He even acknowledged my need for additional information. I am going forward with the purchase and installation of the furnace. He even gave me quality information to be able to make an informed decision including my financing options. I am even strongly considering an annual service plan in the near future.

They diagnose the much larger problem but I didn't ended up doing that yet. They only did an inspection and that was good. They're very friendly and I would recommend them to others.

Technician was punctual, thorough, patient, and courteous. Did not try to hard sell us on unnecessary fixes, just took care of what was most important. Our heating system had been ignored for years and was in dire need of some maintenance and flushing the heating units throughout our apartment took way longer than initially anticipated, yet he maintained a patient and positive attitude for what turned out to be a 4+ hour job. Would gladly hire ARS again in the future.

They provided the service a month ago. It was fine. It was very good. They were on time. I was not there. They were efficient. The price was very good.

It seemed like a pretense to generate business

The service went just fine. They did not charge me more than the big deal purchase but I did end up having to buy a new furnace so there was an expense but it wasn't the service charge.

The tech was great! He showed me different things about my system as I am a new owner, showed me different parts and checked out my system. It is all in working order but was good to get an expert to reassure me given a report from the insulation company. All is great for another 2 years. I would definitely use the company again and I even got a deal on this service which was great!

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine. They did a great job. The unit is working perfectly. I wasn't home but I talked on the phone to the guy while he did the work. They came the day after I purchased the deal. They were good. My daughter was there and she was happy with them. I would use them again.

I was happy with him. I had some technician from Verizon here at the same time so it was kind of three different guys roam in the house so I wasn't going to watch over him to see what he is doing, but I know he went outside and he went up in the attic and brought up the recommendations and everything. He is very pleasant guy. I didn't have any issues or concerns. I think he came few days after I called them. I originally had one day that they were going to come out and then I had to change it because I wanted them to come the same time as Verizon as I didn't want to have to be two separate days and Verizon is coming out for my internet so I called them back and rescheduled for that day and we were able to do that. It was like three days later than what I originally had them scheduled for because I want them all come together. The gentleman who came was professional and punctual. I would use them again in the future.

Very well. The appt was between 11 and 1 and he arrived at 11:30. He was polite and well informed. He did the work in a timely manner.

ARS arrived on time within the 2 hour window. He went right to work and discovered that my furnance should be replaced. He thought I had never had the furnance serviced because of the shape it was in. In other words, I think I was ripped off by past service companies. ARS was honest with me, so it was rell worth the money. I thank ARS for the advise to replace the furnance and will work on that right away!

They were good. They called me right away to setup an appointment. They were on time and they didn’t want to mess my house up and asked if they could go in and out of the basement which was nice of them.

The ARS HVAC specialist was on time and courteous. I could tell he was very knowledgeable about boilers and he provided me with a quote for a new one. I ultimately did not contract ARS services as the quote was slightly out of my price range. Maybe down the road when I have saved up some more money I will call ARS but I just can't swing it today.

It's a bit hard to evaluate this service because though I set it up, I was out of town when it happened and only my husband was home. After the basic special deal -- annual checkup, filter change -- the service guy started proposing cleaning the outdoor unit and air handler, and so my husband called me, without warning, and put me on the phone. I let the guy sell me the cleaning because our previous service outfit had gone out of business, we'd missed a year's service, and basically I was just surprised by the call and happy someone was there taking care of it. And to be fair, he did not try to hard sell it; "I'm not saying you have to have it done," he said. However, I'm not at all sure it was worth doing at all; I hope the "chemicals" he alluded to were detergent and water, because that's what most people recommend for cleaning. On the whole, though, I thought they were nice, responsive, and pleasant to work with. If I'd been here, I could have handled the decision better. I don't think businesses should sell (however softly) unnecessary service, but I did say yes, partly because I had already been favorably impressed, so I share the blame (if any). Bottom line: The more you know ahead of time, the better off you'll be. (And don't let your spouse put you on the spot by phone!)

he did the inspection; i asked about the duct work because the a/c does not work as good as i thought it should, he told me what he thought was the problem but did not suggest any means to improve it. overall, i was happy to hear the a/c unit was fine (i just bought house the year before) but was not impressed with the technician or the follow thru.
