A/C tune-up, went smoothly. NO problems.

We have spoken with the service provider as well as the owner of the company. They are rectifying the issues we had with them by redeeming this certificate and still going to do the work. We are grateful that their customer service department has been doing their due diligence with making things right.

The serviceman took about an hour to check the functioning of my gas furnace. He showed me how the humidifier worked, how to replace the filter, and just systematically took the time to explain what he was doing. I think these might be good people with whom to have a service contract.

This was the fifth provider I had called. Two never returned my calls. One, an A lister on Angie's List, dropped the ball between salesman and manager. That is why I am in DECEMBER replacing a furnace. ARS returned my call promptly. The salesman came out and gave me an estimate on the spot. He answered all questions, gave me literature about the furnace options, and explained the options so that a layperson could understand them easily. No pressure, no rush from Taze, the salesman. The price estimate was in the middle range of the quotes actually received from the companies who responded with quotes, and the brand was well regarded by Consumer Reports. Taze came out once more for measurements of the ducts, then scheduled the job. They arrived approximately 20 minutes late, but stayed with the job until it was done (~9 hours). The guys were professional, polite, apparently competent, because at the end of the day, the furnace worked. The work area was left cleaner than they started. I am very happy. If the unit continues to work as promised, they will be replacing my other furnace, also.

Dave S. was very knowledgeable and helpful. He walked me through how my particular furnace works and gave me tips on how to make it run most efficiently. This was great since we just moved into the house and I was unfamiliar with how gas systems work. Already I'm noticing an improvement in how my house is maintaining a comfortable temperature.

I was called the day after I purchased the deal on Angie's List. They were able to set up the service within a week. The staff on the phone were very professional and courteous. Day of he arrived when scheduled, pretty early in the window they provided me. Was very professional and respectful. Service took some time, but I could tell he was being thorough. Cleaned up really well. Gave me some pointers on the system and info about its age and efficiency. With the age of it, I wouldn't have been surprised if he suggested just replacing it, but instead told me that it was a reliable system but just not the most efficient one out there, but with good maintenance should run for many more years. I appreciated the honesty and that he wasn't just looking to sell more services.

He was great, really knowledgeable and answered all my concerns. They were helpful in determining which units would work for our space. The installation was fabulous. The price was as quoted in the initial estimate. They even sent me a thank you for your business note and coupons for future services.

Eric arrived at time indicated. Very professional and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.

He simply said, "it works" and left. I paid $89 for this?

Chris T. was the service tech that came out to fix my heating system. He was on time, courteous, and very thorough. He also was careful to wear floor protectors to prevent damage to the hardwood. The heating system is working great, and ready for the upcoming winter. Thanks!

Purchased Angie's List Big deal for furnace tune up. The technician was a little late but called in advance to update the time and arrived when he said he would. He was very friendly and professional.

A little good, mostly a disaster. background: basement furnace not running. 8 year old American Standard Gas furnance with external vent through chimney pipe. Apparently, burner overheated and kick safeties. Issue was plugged chimney by squirrels. Good news, clarified need to replace chimney pipe from aluminum to Stainless steel. However, F is because serviceman also condemned entire system and told me that burner value was leaking and unsafe. I wasn't there during call. Said I needed to replace with $6500 furnace (he gave my wife job estimate on spot). I looked it over that night and didn't see the issue visually. I promptly replaced my chimney pipe with separate company. I called R&S to make sure I understood how turned off system. They reiterated that even thought the pipe was now venting properly, that the system was unsafe. I tried to run and couldn't get the burner to go. They didn't tell me that they turned off the gas value power as well. Now day 7 with no heat downstairs. Called another A rated furnace company the next day and they turned on the switch and my furnace is cranking away. They are perplexed at how R&S concluded the burners were failed. Silver lining is that it is warm again.

Eric A. performed this service. He was punctual, professional, and obviously highly experienced with this type of work. Since we recently moved into our home, I had lots of questions about what we needed to do, and he answered all of them patiently. He even helped me move a very large piece of furniture to better access the furnace work space area. I could not have been happier with the quality of the service and the excellent price to have all this work done. We will be using ARS for all of our furnace/AC needs, and I will ask for Eric each time.

Jay came to our home this morning nice and early and within the time limit given. With a great personality and knowledgable of our heating system it was apparent we decided on the right company for our heating needs. Jay even helped with recommendations on how to save on our heating bill. We will definatly will be using their services again.

ARS was professional from beginning to end, from the first phone call to schedule the appointment, to the technician taking the extra steps to look at hot water heater connections and what we should look for through the winter.

ARS - HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING SERVICES, called promptly to arrange an appt to tune up my 5year old gas furnace. They were great when I had to call and re-schedule, no problem. The actual tune-up went well, tech was very professional, went over each step of procedure, did not try to sell me anything, made good suggestions. All in all, a good experience and I will be calling ARS again.

The service turned out great. They honored the coupon, and I was extremely happy with them. The workers were very professional, and also nice and friendly. I would definitely use them again.

This was purchased for my mother's house. Company arranged and confirmed time. Technician was very polite and explained everything he did, also willing to answer any questions. My mother was extremely at ease with him and I suspect she'll call if further service is needed.

It took several phone calls to get this done. Customer service is not friendly. I am been told that there is no service on Weekends but why listing weekend service hours here. I am not happy with the whole procedure. I will update the information after the work is done.

Service specialist showed up on time and even though there was a window between 2 hours he called two times to provide his ETA. Entered the house with booties, explained how the furnace was working and doing in way that I could understand. Provided an quote for additional services that were recommended. Very professional, punctual, knowledgeable and was a very pleasant person to have in our house! They called to confirm the day before over the phone too.

ARS's service and professionalism were excellent. Mark, the technician who visited for the tune-up, furnace issue diagnosis and quote was excellent. ARS went the extra mile for us on numerous aspects, including price, temporary electric heaters while we waiting for new furnace to be installed, and scheduling of installation. I couldn't be happier with the service and highly recommend that you use them.
