It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went just fine.

Reliable and professional

The service was related to a coupon for heating boiler tune up and review. We had air in our water system that was very noisy. The service was set up quickly and Matt came on time and made a good job reviewing our heating system but he was not familiar with radiant heat systems that we have on 2 zones in our home. He got rid of the air. However the noises came back about 2 weeks later and we called them back to find out why. Dave came and he was more familiar with the radiant part of the system and identified a stuck valve and a leaking connection of one of the radiant pipes that let air get into the system. He made a quote on the spot and we are waiting for the full fixing of the valve and connections.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and they were great. The gentleman who came out was very friendly, punctual and thorough. As far as I know the work was good.

We were so pleased. have had the furnace checked over before but no one ever really took it apart and really cleaned and assessed it until now. We were amazed. We were also having problems with our thermometer. It wasn't accurate and it was difficult to program. He removed the old thermometer and installed a new digital thermometer. Nick came out in a snow storm to give me an estimate on replacing a well pressure tank and installing some forced hot water baseboard in my entry hall. He answered all my questions, and gave me a good price. 2 weeks later, in another snow storm he came back to actually do the work. He worked quickly and efficiently. I now have a warm entry hall, and water pressure in the shower.

Angie's List was very responsive. Service provider called to schedule appointment, but we are unable to use the coupon due to the nature of the furnace. (oil vs gas) Overall satisfied with the ability to cancel the deal easily.

Disappointed that he was out of air filters and did not replace. Told me I needed about $1500 of work or should replace at about $4500. Was here for about an hour. Spent time interacting with office for information.

It went well very timely accommodating service

I was very satisfied with technicians (Marc E.) thoroughness in inspecting and cleaning the furnace. My furnace is relatively new (2008), and ARS installed the furnace, and provided contracted tune up's in the past, I wanted to make sure the furnace was operating at peak efficiency, and check for any problem signs. I don't usually stay with the technician while they work, however, this time I did, and I observed the technician carefully opened and checked both gas burning and electrical components, and brush cleaned a few areas. This process took about 1/2 hour, and appeared to be very thorough. ARS has preformed tune-ups to my A/C and Heating systems for the past several years, and at my request, sends the same technician each time. Also, a few years ago, while my A/C was under a service contract, ARS also performed 2 preventative repairs to my A/C during the tune-up (which I was satisfied with). No repairs were needed to the heating system, and I plan to have ARS come back and tune up my A/C in the springtime. The technician worked quickly, performed numerous checks, provided useful information about my furnace, answered all my questions, and was very courteous. This was money well spent!

I have very old plumbing (galvanized pipes) and he managed to clear them!! I bought the big deal and had immediate response to my email and got a phone call. Appointment set up that was convenient for me. He showed up on time, explained everything. Wore disposable booties to protect my floors. Everthing was done quickly and efficiently.

With such a big purchase I need a lot of reading of reviews both on Angies list and other places, these guys got very good reviews. Their price was higher then the other company I had narrowed it down to, they did not match, but split the difference with me, guess I could have been more heavy handed for a better price. Taze did the estimating for me, nice guy, quick return on calls. The installers were prompt and cleaned up well, as well as pleasant to deal with. I want to follow up with them, the humidifier is not working as well as I hoped. How that goes with them will be intersting.

Called and cancelled my appointment - and they will be coming out to give me a free estimate on a tankless water heating system. Might have them help us with furnace as well.

The service man was punctual and very helpful. Not only did he tune up the boiler, but he also spent some time to make suggestions for to further improve the heating systems in our home. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Extremely well. I had this on my radar for a while since moving into a new condo. I thought that the fan for the hot air blower was too loud and I wanted the furnace checked anyway. Literally, as soon as I bought the deal and emailed them to set up an appointment, Jay (the owner) called me and asked if I would be home that day. I said yes, and Eric came in about an hour and a half. He spent an hour plus cleaning the contacts, checking the voltage, checking the pilots and the flames, he looked at the fan, venting, duct work and the thermostat. He answered all of my questions and gave me pointers. He scrubbed and cleaned everything, and pronounced it in very good working condition. He was extremely nice and very efficient. I will use them for the a/c in the spring. Thanks so much!

It went fine. They were responsive, did high quality work. It was done shortly after the big deal purchase. I would use them again.

Dave Wietzel (sp?) was great. He arrived right on time at 7am even though it was snowing. He took his shoes off and made sure not to track any snow in the house. He spent over 1 hour tuning-up the boiler and educating me all about it. He was very friendly and optimistic, and did not try to sell me other services. A couple days later on a Saturday we had no hot water (unrelated to the boiler) and so I called ARS and spoke with Jim, the general manager. He systematically went through everything with me on the phone and ultimately correctly diagnosed the problem as being due to a frozen pipe. He could have easily just sent someone out and charged me the weekend rate, but didn't. Based on my two interactions with technicians at ARS, I would definitely use their services again over other plumbing/HVAC services I've used in the past, including some highly rated Angie's List servicers. They definitely won me over.

The serviceman arrived on time and was very professional. He showed me what he was doing and made sure I knew what type of filter the units used.

That went wonderfully. He answered all my questions. Took the time to check something that was broken. He fixed the broken coil too. He was also very throughout and gave great advice. This company scheduled me right away after purchasing the deal.

I simply wanted my furnace tune-up before the cold weather hit. Showed up on time, tune-up my furnace and gave me their recommendations. In the meantime, I was also showed what to look out for in case things were beginning to break down. I will hire them when I'm ready to move forward with their recommendations.

I went really well from the call to setup the appointment to DAW arriving with his own slippers (shoes are not permitted my home). The attention to detail along with clear and precise expanations were greatly appreciated. I would use this service again and recommend to others.

He recommended replacing the unit. I would have appreciated it if they had offered me some credit for the payment I had made.

Furnace tune up. They were very professional and explained everything that was performed. The tech, Gordon, was very friendly and walk through everything upon completion and left the area spotless. I am very pleased.
