2 The repairman, Nick G., was on time. Arrival time was between 7am & 9 am with the hope of being closer to 7am. Nick arrived at 7:22. I showed him what was needed. He wrote up the job description and I accepted. Nick started the job Immediately had everything done by 9:40.I had other workers here at the time. Nick completed his work, showed me what he had done before he left. The area was clean and all trash taken with him. Nick was very pleasant and helpful with his explanations of what was needed and why. The initial cost of the job was $650 with a $200 Angie's coupon and it came to 450.00 I paid $99.00 for the coupon so my total was $549.00 I am very pleased with his work and he was very professional and approachable. I highly recommend this company.

He let me know the boiler was in pretty good working order but I didn’t feel he really tuned it up or cleaned it. It seemed he primarily performed an audit on the boiler. He gave me an estimate on replacing the copper tubes. He also didn’t change the dirty water in the boiler. The response time was reasonable but there was misunderstanding of what I thought I purchased and the work that was performed.

We bought the deal from Angie's list to get the furnace tuned up and see if there was any problem. They came in because the heater was not producing any heat. ARS technician came and found there was an intermittent problem with the gas pressure. He got the heater to start up but said that the heater needed coil cleaning for which he would charge $1800 because he could not access the coil from the front. He commented that the furnace was not efficient and dirty and the motor had a crack etc. So. I called another heating company who came and replaced the ignitor, limit switch, cleaned the coil accessing from above and charged me $300. They said that the system did not need to be replaced because it was functioning as expected. The new guys charged me $300 for 3 separate visits. It seemed like the ARS heating guys low balled me in getting the deal but it is a tactic to get in the door. They scared me about the system about all kinds of things.

He came and got the job done. He got the work done in a reasonable time and at a reasonable price. He was clear in exactly what he did. I was happy with the work.

Excellent. Very timely arrival and service performance. Eric knew his equipment and was efficient and informative, reviewing my needs and prospects. An excellent experience. Always reluctant to make recommendations because one never knows what someone elses experience may be but I do recommend Eric Amico of ARS.

They were very informative, the tech that came out gave me a lot of different options.

He turned on the water valve for my inline humidifier but was not thorough. There was clearly a leak and it made a mess in my basement. He was friendly but gave no explanation of what he was going to do or how things looked with the unit.

Great job. Took time, explained everything and made recommendations. Very personable. Put on foot coverings to protect my carpet from outside elements which was greatly appreciated. Also, all contacts over the phone before and after service have been outstanding. Would highly recommend.

The service turned out great. They were prompt and worked quickly. They seemed very thorough. I was happy with their service.

They were terrible. They did what they could, but in my opinion, they kind of did it half hearted. They tried to sell me everything for ages. I then had a proper firm come out and do it. I wish they wouldn't be so dramatic and forceful when it comes to making a sale.

They did a good job and came multiple times. I would recommend them. I think it is a very big company and so every time a different person showed up. One did a good job and the other one did relatively good job. They had to send out people 3 times to fix the problem.

We had used them for years, and they got on Angie's List and the service went down dramatically, which was disappointing. We called them for a service and they left us high and dry. I had to call somebody else. And when I called to complain, one of their service technicians finally did call us back to explain that ever since they went on Angie's List, the response has been tremendous, but the bad part is that the service is bad. They tried to charge us, but basically gave us 50-percent off later on.

He did a very thorough check up. I would use them again if the price is discounted again.

They are fantastic, responsive, on time, quick, came in under budget, clean and just did everything you would want.

This was the best inspection I have ever had the pleasure of paying for. First of all, I was told that my contractor would arrive between 9-11 and David arrived at 10:15am. We had just had another snow storm and I was concerned that he would track in snow from outside but he was prepared with a second pair of boots to wear inside the house! He asked me questions relating to my concerns and listened very carefully to help me decifer what I wanted from this visit. He got it and immediately went to work on finding the problem. He was very professional, courteous and full of information in providing a detail of what was happening and why. He actually went down to the basement to inspect the main drain pipe and tracking the system to ensure he didn't miss anything. I would encourage anyone to call him for the most thorough work performance and attention to detail one would expect.

It was good. They did what they said they would and got it done.

It was fine. They did what they were out here to do. They were basically on time, did the work, and left. Nothing stands out about the service, it was pretty typical.

Worked out great. He showed up on time and was very friendly. Did everything he could to get my system in better shape with a full teardown.

He was fabulous. He was very helpful. I would definitely call them again if I needed plumbing or heating work done. The office staff was also very good. They know what customer service is.

Inspection was fine. It is an old service. Later was a leak - we called, they responded promptly, fixed the problem and price was reasonable.

The tech was very knowledgeable and very friendly.

Chris was right on time. He fixed the issue with the toilet. He fixed the leak under the kitchen sink. He was thorough and professional. He checked if the hot water temperature is right and he also took a water sample for analysis free of cost. I would definitely recommend ARS for any of your plumbing needs.

The serviceman (Gordon) arrived promptly at the prearranged time. He was a very efficient and knowledgeable worker. I found him to be a completely thorough, skilled craftsman, and did an excellent job on the two furnace tune ups. This was an excellent deal with the Groupon they offered, and to have such service expertise, too, it was a very satisfactory experience.

He adjusted something he shouldn’t have and about a month later a different technician came back, explained what had happened and fixed it. He came back immediately after I called him. The scheduling with them was fine. They didn’t charge me anything when they came back. I was happy with the way it ended up.
