I had several estimates to have air conditioning in our older home. I was a bit frustrated as we had a hard time finding the right contractor. Some never showed up. Some were just arrogant. And most were crazy expensive. We finally called Home Depot to get an estimate and we were referred to ARS.They are an installer for air conditioning for Home Depot in this area. We had a great experience from the initial contact to the quote and the install. We went with a combination of central air and mini-splits. Although it was an expensive project, ARS gave us the best pricing and their service was excellent. We are very happy with the install and would highly recommend ARS.

Due to the extended period of time since the last cleaning I let them talk me into cleaning the furnace coil and outside unit. They said pressure readings were better after the cleaning. I had second thoughts however, when they suggested I replace my 16 year old hi-efficiency furnace as well as purchase a hi-end furnace filter and install an air purification system. On the Monday before the appointment I called to verify the time and price. They had everything recorded correctly. The bill submitted however, was not the special I ordered using Angies List a month earlier. It appears delaying work until the next month placed me into a different time period and a different special price. Now I understand why they preferred I placed the order with them and not thru Angies. I called the office and was initially told there was no record of the appointment. Then after some insistence they found the appointment but was not forth coming with any more information. I really had a bad feeling about how they run their business. Smells like bait and switch.

They showed up on time, added the stops and drains to the two water lines, and then also gave me ballpark quotes on some other plumbing work. The cost was a bit more than I anticipated, but that was due to the materials that had previously been installed in the house- it's expensive piping that requires custom parts in order to be modified. Very respectful, and very efficient. I would have no problem recommending them to friends and family.

All went well. I was contacted immediately to set up appointment. Company was flexible working with my schedule. Service was prompt and technician was thorough and explained everything before performing service.

My husband met the gentleman at the house, he was very punctual. My husband reports he was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Answered any and all questions we had. We would definately use this company in the future!

It went very well, Matt the technician was on time, extremely polite and professional. He checked everything out and said it was in great condition. I have been looking for someone to maintain my heating and cooling system on a yearly basis and I feel I have found that company with ARS.

It went excellently! The man was extremely nice and taught me all about the furnace and what to watch out for. I will definitely be using them again!

The technician, was punctual, efficient and very informative. He did a thorough tune-up and explained everything he did... told us the unit was still running well considering its age. He also told us what parts might be needed in the near future due to wear over the years. We have used this company in the past and were always very pleased with their professionalism.... would recommend them to others and will definitely use them again.

Eric went through the whole system and inspected everything. I used ARS last year and they found some issues with my two year old system. We have cathedral ceilings in our bedroom and is in the sun all day. Our bedroom was always hotter than the rest of the house. ARS changed what we had in the room from one intake and one out vent into two out vents. Our room is now perfect. ARS also put an overflow sensor in the drain pan of the air unit in our attic. First year we had unit it froze and leaked into ceiling. I have no more worries about that issue happening. Great company!

The ARS HVAC Specialist (Nick) was extremely thorough, knowledgeable and professional. He spent approx 11/2hrs inspecting testing and tuning up the HVAC unit. Upon inspecting the indoor air handler/evaporator coil , it was recommended that, due to the age/condition of the A-Coil, the part should be replaced.(unit is approx 8 years old) After seeing the corrosion on the coil, I agreed. Unfortunately, the unit is a Westinghouse product and ARS only sells LENNOX Products (extremely high end products) therefore, I was told that they could not replace just the coil. They would have to replace the entire Air Handler, coil/pan/casing with a LENNOX Product. After making a call to the Sales manager, Nick came back with a $3900.-$4400. Estimate.. Yikes! Needless to say, I'm currently comparing estimates from other HVAC companies that will replace just the defective part (evaporator coil) at a fraction of the cost. In my opinion, if cost is not a concern, this is an excellent A+ company for all heating and cooling needs... Regretfully, this working class girl cannot afford their exorbitant prices..

Everything went as expected. This is anew home for me so I wanted to make sure the AC unit was ready to go this summer. The person servicing my system, went through everything with me. He explained that one particular part could use replacing so I went ahead with it. Now time will tell as the weather warms up.

He arrived on time. Drained/refilled hot water heater. Did a great job.

This was great. He was punctual and very clear about everything. He took me on the inspection, informed me of how everything looked and what I should keep a watch on to make sure that there won't be surprise problems. He was very willing to answer any questions I had and explained things in a very understandable way.

I contacted them to get an appointment and realized they are really far away. They were very professional on the phone and accommodating when working with my schedule.

They recommended some things and gave us a list and a price.

They were fine to work with. They came out relatively quickly to do the work. He was polite and nice. He seemed to know what he was doing. He gave me prices for other services down the road if I needed it.

It went as per expectation for most part. He inspected all the 3 bathrooms, basement and kitchen sink. One of his focus during inspection seemed to be getting future work from me. Price quote he gave for the future work was out of proportion. He was overall professional in his work.

I was and am very pleased with both the work that was done and the kindness and professionalism of the plumber who was sent. He explained everything he had to do and how long it would take and even allowed my little puppy to stay in the bathroom and watch him. He was just really nice and did a great job. I would definitely use them again.

My husband was here and he said the tech was very good.

The work was done well and clean. But the price was much higher than what I expected.

ARS showed up on time to complete the service. They performed service up in the attic and outside. They explained what was checked and the condition of the A/C unit. I also inquired about upgrading our air conditioning system to a 2-zone system. The service technician did not have the ability to provide detailed information or quote but recommended I contact their office to have a program manager answer my inquiry. Overall, I was satisfied with their service and would use them again.

Everything is now working well. We have a septic system and had the tank pumped out and that seems to have taken care of any problems with the tub and sink draining slowly and affecting the flushing of the toilet. Don't think that we'll need to have the drain pipes checked out.
