I can't say enough good things. They did a great job and it's a very clean service. They quoted us with services and it seems pretty high. I think the deal was worth it.

I purchased a special for an annual tune-up, however, before the appointment, I realized I a had a problem with both of my central a/c units. Arron was very professional. He was able to find the problems with the first unit and he repaired them during this visit. It was great not to have to reschedule. The problem with the second unit turned out to be electrical, he actually discovered a fire hazard with my wiring and said i would need an electrician to fix that. I was very happy with his work, he seemed very thorough. I appreciated the effort he made to find the issue with the second unit. I would definitely use them again.

Professional, on time and full of information. Discovered my AC was a home built unit rather than an off the shelf variety. Bad news for me but buying a house is just a risky business these days.

I selected ARS because of the high reviews on Angies List. They were so puntual they even called ahead of time to see if they could come earlier. However, I had a scheduling conflict so they came out at the original scheduled tiem. The techician was friendly and punctual. The work was great. I would use them again without a doubt.

The man explained that since we have two units i would need to pay double, which seemed fair. He went about working on both units but explained that ultimately I needed to have more work done because there are issues which are not covered under the tune up price. I declined any additional work. The AC continues to work well. Had a feeling that the tune up offer was a way to try and get a larger job.

I couldn't get these guys scheduled. When I discussed a simple project, the cost was over the top. Further - I would avoid this coupon, my impression is that you are paying them for what should be a free consultation/estimate. That said, they didnt do any work for me. I pulled my coupon back once I came to this realization.

They were neat and clean and did a really nice job. He showed up right on-time. They were very responsive and called me moments after purchasing the Big Deal.

In addition to performing the services listed above, the technician, Jim C. made a number of suggestions of work that I could do during the year that would improve the functioning of the A/C unit.

He told me he wouldn't be able to service me and that I needed to get in touch with the city and contact Angie's List for a refund.

I moved into my condo about a year ago and was clueless on my gas furnace (how to maintain/ service it, etc). It was in working order, so there was no repair necessary. They were great--very very friendly and patient through some pretty dumb questions from me! Very thorough and approachable. Would absolutely use them again for either routine maintenance or any issues.

They came on time and got the job done. Replaced my heating system and A/C. I haven't used A/C yet but Heating works fine. However, I asked them to do me a favor by fixing chimney cap. They didn't do it.

He was very professional, didn't try to sell anything that we didn't need. His comment was 'it's 14 years old and it looks like it' but since everything was functioning fine, there was no upselling. Very much appreciated.

I called ARS before buying the Angie's List Big Deal to ask how much it costs to replace a bathroom faucet. They said it was around $250. I bought the big deal. Then two months later after I bought the faucet and called to schedule the service, they told me that actually it was going to be $450 because it is a widespread faucet. The last time I had a widespread faucet replaced, about a year ago, it cost $250, so I think $450 is ridiculous. They also told me it would be $300 to unclog a sink drain. That's twice as much as I have paid in the recent past. I got a refund on my Big Deal and am hiring a different plumber who is going to do it for $250. I feel like their prices are very inflated, making the Big Deal not such a great deal.

It was fine. They were on time and very professional. This is the second time I've used them.

Dave Smith was the technician and I was impressed with the service, knowledge, and giving information. ARS was not aware that than I had purchased both AC and furnace inspection. Apparently they did not get the information from Angies List on the furnace service. However, a call to the office resolved the issue and service was provided.

Marc is a great technician - professional prompt and does great work. No issues whatsoever - will definitely use ARS again and highly recommend them!

Felt completely ripped off. ARS refused to quote a price or estimate over the phone for installation of customer supplied toilet. Used Angies List Deal - somewhat difficult to schedule. Plumber did arrive on time and did a good job but this felt like a complete bait and switch when plumber said cost to install customer supplied toilet was a flat $375. I've never paid that much in either Boston or Boston Metrowest. Having spent $89 on deal and gone to DArtmouth for the day, I had the work done. The installation was absolutelty standard and ridiculously over-priced. Will neve use ARS again or an Angie's List Deal. Very disappointing - does Angie's list qualify members before including them on a deal?

Thought I need the flush but realized I needed a new water heater immediately. Their price was significantly higher than others so I did not transfer that money to a purchase with them.

The value of service was okay as mostly I paid ARS $170 for coming to do an inspection. They charged me additional $230 to charge 2 lb of refrigarant. However technician showed up on time and did a good job. Overall it was a satisfactory experience.

Purchased a Replacement Furnace with a Central AC System from Home Depot through ARS of Boston. I worked with Tom Darmetko who was excellent to work with. They sized the system, priced it and I purchased on my Home Depot card at 0 interest for 2 years. Installation went perfect. Installers were very professional. Instructed me on covering AC unit for winter. We saved alot of money this winter having this high efficiency lennox furnace. We also received rebates that were processed by ARS on our behalf. Last month I received a phone call stating they wanted to come out and service our AC cooling system for free and make sure it's ready for summer. Performed service and startup as well as quality control inspection. Great Job!! Also replaced air filter which was dirty after winter I will now inspect every month. They get a A+ rating from me.
