IT WENT GREAT. I was concerned about the time it would take (September; getting colder). They Removed the old and installed the new furnace in 1 day, including a new flu & cleanup. They helped with all paperwork for the Mass loan program (still available???). They did a great job, with no surprises. I definitely recommend them

Gave recommendations for small maintenance we can do ourselves. The tech was great. He was prompt and knowledgeable. It was easy to schedule an appointment. We will use them again when needed.

Horribly. They charged me $200 to replace a pressure switch on my furnace because it was not blowing heat out of the vents. Less than a week later my unit stopped working again on the coldest day of the year. The technician came out quickly then said I needed an inducer motor that would cost me $500. I found the part on eBay for $100 and replaced it myself with a little help from the Internet. I feel that they could have just replaced that to begin with but instead put a $200 band-aid on it and then tried getting another $500 out of me to fix the real problem. I will NEVER use this company again.

Once identified the problem with the motor, he called the manufacturer and completed all the needed details to ensure the work was done under the warranty. We then rescheduled a time once the part was delivered to have it fixed. I also had a concern with the 2nd furnace (upstairs) and he checked it and completed a few extra checks to ensure all was working properly. I feel ARS went the extra mile on my service call and will use them for all my heating and AC needs!

The service turned out fine, they did a good job. They made a suggestion as to something that should be done in the future, and didn't need to be done now. I had paid $99 and there wasn't any additional cost. The price was very good.

Marc from ARS was very prompt (arriving earlier than originally planned, but with a phone call ahead of time) and professional during our visit. He was informative and offered us a quote that was significantly lower than the previous quotes we had received for comparable products and services.

They arrived promptly. I haven't had any problems with my boiler, but I figured its worthwhile to get it tuned up annually. Technician did servicing and told me I had valves that needed to be replaced, one critical valve which delivers water to the boiler. Interestingly, the broken valve worked fine when I put water into the boiler 2 weeks ago. so, the $89 tune-up ended up costing an additional $125. That would be fine except that today, one day later, my heat isn't working properly. It is currently registering 5 degrees below what the temperature is set at. 2.5 hrs later, I'm still waiting to hear when a technician might arrive to fix it. I feel like the Angie's deal was a scam to find additional problems they could charge for and now heat that had been working fine isn't.

I guess it turned out fine. I don't have a perfect experience with them when they installed the equipment. In fact they have to come back and fix some stuff. They were sloppy and they damaged my attic floor. I have them come back out again maybe 'cause they're the one's who installed the equipment and they seem to be good job for their inspection that they did. There's in and out and courteous guy. I would use them again in the future.

They did a good job with the work. It was more expensive than I hoped for, but it worked out great other than that.

We were initially informed that our system needed replacement. We had our system replaced.

ARS found a gas leak and other issues with the furnace which I was unaware of. After authorizing the additional work I was satisfied with the work performed.

The technician arrived at my house and looked at my in wall heater. He told me that they did not service this type of unit. He called his service manager who told me to contact Angie's List to ask for a refund.

He was very professional, examined all three systems, found one system that didn't pass inspection (expected due to its age). He changed filters, check gas levels, CO leakage. Overall, very happy with service.

I was very impressed with ARS Heating and happy with the service that they provided. They were prompt and professional and did a great job with the service. They also easily explained the work that needed to be done in a great way so that I was able to understand.

Punctual. Professional I had lots of questions about how the furnace works and he took as much time as I needed to answer. No problem with me looking over his shoulder, asking for more explanation. Basically he gave "Furnace 101" so I understand WHY everything is in working order and what's "under the hood". That is worth more than just the "it's ok" visit.

The service was fine. They had a really good guy come out and check it, and helped us with the condensers, and gave us advise about the humidifier down in the basement.

The service tech was on time, professional, knowledgeable, and quite informative. I definitely will use this company again for future heating and air-conditioning needs

Salesman had no intention of giving a written quote for the system I inquired about. 5 minutes after he walked in he threw out an outrageous verbal quote on the Mitsubishi system without knowing any particulars such as: insulation type, head placements, condenser placements or living habits. This was done, in my opinion, to drive me into the system he wanted to sell (Lennox ducted system). When I persisted he got angry and I asked him to leave. When he still insisted on the Lennox system and refused to leave I escorted him to the door. When he continued to push the Lennox system I closed the door on him in the middle of his sales spiel.

Was okay but a little sloppy work. Lost some nuts and had to replace them when they was servicing the equipment.

One week after receiving the quote I called to make an appointment to have the duct work done. I wanted to wait for the spring to move the condensors. The person I spoke to told me they couldn't just come and install the duct work. I wasnt given a reason why and was told that the person that gave me the estimate would contact me. I never heard back from them. I tried calling again and was told again someone would get back to me. No follow up. I have used them in the past for the annual service on my heat and central air systems but will not in the future.

They were professional and polite. The big knock against them is that they oversold what a tune-up was. Basically, the technician just confirmed that hot water was coming out of the boiler. Then he wrote it on a carbon copy, handed us a copy, and collected the money. We asked him to take a look at the thermostats, which didn't seem to be calibrated correctly, and without looking, he just recommended that we buy new ones. Before buying a tune-up, make sure you'll get useful information out of it. If all they'll do is feel the pipes and tell you they're warm, I'm pretty sure you can do that on your own.
