From my first call with Olympia to inquire about their services, I received top notch service and this continued throughout the entire process. The crew that worked on my move was outstanding. They were so professional, efficient, and made sure that everything was handled with the utmost care. I was anticipating moving day to be chaotic and stressful and I was amazed at how easy and smooth the move went thanks to Olympia.

Charles and crew were exceptional. Always recommend Olympia and now I have the personal experience to back it up. I would personally ask for Charles again. Thank you for all your help the crew made the job as painless as possible. They were fast too! I would recommend again to all my clients. My move coordinator Lincoln was amazing !I tried calling other places no one even answered the phone and not even a callback after checking online. He walked me through my house on the phone and was able to give me an estimate and a very accurate calculation on how many vaults I`d need. He got the permits and even got them to come back again as the signs were poorly placed.He answered all my many questions via phone or email in a prompt and pleasant manner! The day of the guys showed up on time, except for one guy(he prorated the late guys time at the end) were extremely pleasant, very organized and well prepared. I had concerns about my dining table as previous movers had damaged it. You could drop that table off a cliff after he was done wrapping it! All in all I was very happy. I`ll have to see what happens on the return but they cataloged all of my belongs better than I did. Emma Curtis

Everything went smoothly. They called 15 min. before arriving, and arrived right on time. They worked fast, quietly, and very efficiently, never wasting time. When we called them next day to let them know we had just finished closing on the new house, they were already halfway there. The unloading and setup were just as smooth and efficient as the loading process the day before. The sole bit of damage was a tiny fragile door handle on an enormous and extremely heavy piece of furniture. Given how fast they worked, that was amazing. They are real pros!

Everything went fine from start to finish. All of the moving crew was outstanding. Very hard workers. I was very happy with everyone I worked with during my move. All of the men who packed and moved me did a wonderful job. All of my possessions arrived at my new house in the same condition that they left my old house.

Wonderfully! From the initial maneuvering of a large moving truck into a spot on a narrow residential street, I could tell it was a crew that worked together well. They were efficient, careful, pleasant, and professional - what more could one want? Olympia moved us into our house 16 years ago, and I would call them the next time I need movers! They aren't the cheapest crew in town, but they are comparable with other professional companies and cheaper than some.

I have used professional movers four times. Olympia Movers was by far the best moving company I have worked with. They were absolutely outstanding. First of all, they were very punctual on the packing and loading days as well as the delivery day. They communicated very closely with me regarding expected time of arrival, what the process would be, and what to expect. They did what they said they were going to do. Secondly, they packed and moved my things with a great deal of care, and demonstrated a high level of knowledge and expertise in how to pack things so that they would arrive undamaged. For example, I have a large glass cabinet. They were the first movers that ever put pillows inside as a way to add stability. I thought this was an excellent idea. Additionally, they wrapped furniture in padded blankets and moved it this way to protect the furniture and walls. Because of the great care the crew exercised, my belongings arrived absolutely in perfect condition, and there were no gouges or scratches on the walls or floor or anything else. Next, they were very efficient. They worked diligently until the job was complete. They communicated clearly with each other, working as a well functioning team. Next, they checked in with me throughout the packing, loading, and unloading process to ask if everything was meeting my expectations. During the unloading, I had to ask them to move a few pieces of furniture after they had been placed because I decided they were going to work well where they were placed. They were happy to move the items for me. The final cost was on target with what they had estimated. The crew was courteous, friendly, respectful and professional. I cannot say enough about this company. I absolutely recommend them. Eddie was my crew chief and he was outstanding.

I've recommended them to many people. I can't say enough about their people. The guy in charge cared about how we felt and were treated. They went above and beyond. They were terrific and outstanding. They were very careful. We had used them for storage before as well. There was absolutely nothing I would change about the experience.

Overall the people doing the move were very professional and courteous. However the price wound up costing over $3000more than the estimate they provided. Part of the reason for this was a particularly difficult piece of furniture to disassemble and reassemble, a bunk bed. Only one of the four movers worked on this while the others ran out of things to do, but I was paying them all out hourly. I think the bunk bed ate about three and a half hours worth of time, well over $600 worth, for this kind of money I could have gotten a new bed. I was happy with everything but the exorbitant cost.

From the minute I contacted Olympia they were nothing but courteous, responsive, and thorough. They kept in constant email contact to make sure everything was in order during the months before the move. When it came to moving day , they were prompt, careful, an treated us and our belongings with respect. It was the same way when the furniture was delivered. Both days they called when on their way. No guessing at all. They delivered the best customer service we could have imagined . Our contact's name was Ryan Hegarty, and he was terrific. The movers both days were great as well. No doubt anyone who uses this Company will feel the same

Staff was extremely professional, from sales, survey/pricing and moving staff. The three movers were quick, efficient, and professional. They provided a few extra boxes and tape to pack smaller things that we didn't get to. Were very good about labeling and putting things exactly where we needed them. A few small things were broken in transit, but they give you 9 months to file a claim. I'm very happy with their services and would use them again in the future.

This was my first moving experience in decades and the first of this size. I would not hesitate to use them again. The only items that were broken were ones I had packed myself.

They were fantastic. There were two different crews, both led by Paul. Packing was one day and moving another. They were there exactly when they said they would be. They worked extremely efficiently. They were incredibly courteous and very nice. They were very flexible, even when we made some requests that probably seemed silly to them. They did a particularly good job with fragile or difficult pieces. There were some very complicated disassembly/assemblies sequences that they had to do. Even though it was very hot outside, they didn't slow down. We were ecstatic about their performance.

Terrific move. The movers were right on time; all were very courteous, good natured and vey flexible . They were very efficient; worked hard and mad the move in short order. We had them do all of the packing. The owner dropped in to check on the progress. The foreman was excellent. The bill was less than estimated

They did it all in one day. We left some things for the buyer of the house. We got what we paid for. There was no damage to our furniture.

They were really friendly and easy to get along with. It took them several days, but they packed everything. They loaded the truck and drove it to Georgia. They then unloaded the truck and helped us partially unpack our stuff. We are getting ready to move again, and I am going to check on their services. I recommend them for corporate relocation. The day the packed everything up they told us they would see us in the morning. We drove from North Carolina to Georgia and got a hotel. The next morning we left our hotel and the mover we all ready at pour house waiting for us.

On this most recent move there were some challenging aspects: we had a fair amount of boxes and furniture (including a grand piano) in a storage unit, plus our stuff from a 2-BR apartment in the city. It was a tight fit getting everything onto the truck, but the crew chief, who packed the truck, did an incredible job utilizing every inch of available space to get all our stuff on and not kick us into needing an additional truck or crew of guys. And frankly, they could have done that because we weren't in a position to tell them otherwise. Everything was packed very well and nothing was damaged during the move.

The driver arrived in Philadelphia with no help. I was not there so my boyfriend had to help unload and he got workers in the condo building to help out and paid them. This is supposedly an old "bait and switch". The cost of the help is budgeted into the cost of the move and when the driver does not have help he gets the extra money. I contacted the company about this and spoke briefly with the sales agent who would get back to me. They have not gotten back to me despite numerous calls

The first time went smoothly, and cost approximately what they had estimated. The second move, when we moved most of our household, took twice as long as the estimate (and so cost twice the estimate). I had told them that one piece of furniture, a 19th c. sideboard, was a bear, and probably needed a lift to get out a second floor window onto the truck. They said it would be possible to get it down the stairs. In the end, after much difficulty, they had to lower it out the window. Besides taking many hours longer than expected, the movers punched two holes in the walls. During the move from storage to our new home, the movers managed to scratch the newly refinished floors. Not a significant cost to redo - fortunately it was only on a stair landing, and so contained - but a real annoyance, since it could easily have been avoided. There's no reason to use this company when there are many others.

I had a fabulous experience with this company. After the items were loaded, they traveled 10 days to get to their destinations. They had some other stops along the way which is why it took 10 days. He was very dependable and I could always rely on his phone calls to let me know where he was each night. When he reached his location, he unloaded everything into the house and everything looked great. I have used this company before and they were great back then. The rates are pretty much based on TARIFF, so no matter who I would have gone with, it is the same price across the board. The guy who helped me move in was able to take the items I couldn't put in the home into my garage. He did most everything without complaint. I will remember this company for future moves.

Furniture was damaged along with my piano. Wheaton is known for their piano moving. I think the local movers were in too much of a hurry, it was not put on the truck correctly. It was not a very good experience.

I had to call three times to get the original estimate. When I called (and emailed) this spring trying to get dates and a revised estimate, they never returned my call or responded to my email.

We couldnt have asked for better movers! They were fast, professional, careful with all of our stuff, and somehow managed to get everything down from our 3rd floor apartment (with a curving stairwell). They arrived on time, took a shorter lunch break than they told us, and their estimate on the phone was pretty close to the final cost. Didnt break a thing; even our 250 lb. TV made it into our new house without a scratch. At the end of the move, the foreman walked through the house with me to make sure everything was in the correct room. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a Boston-area move!
