Everyone we worked with at Olympia Moving & Storage was helpful and professional. We communicated several times with Ida, Candace and Lucie to set up our move and ask questions before moving day. Our driver, Calin Moldovan, was present for both the loading and unloading and helped coordinate everything. The teams of movers in both states were helpful, friendly and did a terrific job. I recommend Olympia for interstate moves.

I got 3 quotes for this move. Olympia’s was in the middle (and quite reasonable), but their approach made them stand out immediately. They sent me a phone app to use for recording / narrating video of what we were moving, along with the ability to make notes to accompany the video. It was automatically uploaded to them, enabling them to produce a detailed, accurate and well-organized quote. After 2 phone calls with Justin, the quote was amended and I had settled on Olympia. Candy was our move coordinator who kept us informed and confident that we’d made the right choice. Then Roberto, our driver and move supervisor, superbly managed the packing, loading and then unloading at our destination. Everyone we dealt with at Olympia was pleasant, capable and professional. We would use them again in a heartbeat, and highly recommend them.

I highly recommend Olympia for all moves: commercial (I am in the commercial move planning business) and personal (they have moved my family and I each time we have moved). I highly recommend them to all of my professional contacts, friends and family members. They are professional, polite, careful, helpful, friendly -- I have been working with them for years!

The 3 man crew did a fantastic job loading and unloading my belongings. There was great communication from the team and Ciprian the foreman was fantastic.

Just getting around to reviewing this business. We used Olympia for our move this past June and it was a fantastic experience. We got quotes from a couple of other moving companies and Olympia beat them all. As far as their services, I could not ask for anything more. Someone came to my apartment a few weeks before the move to see what they needed to provide. I was assigned a coordinator (Sophia) who kept in constant contact with me right up until the day of the move, guiding me through the process. Finally, the movers (led by Gheorge) were fantastic. We paid for packing services also...Gheorge came the day before the move and packed our entire apartment within a few hours. The day of the move he came with his team and was extremely quick, careful and efficient. We were done by 1:00 PM. I highly recommend Olympia!

Keven Doherty was absolutely phenomenal in every way and trust in him and his explanation of process and costs for both long term storage and moving was the reason we decided to choose Olympia. He’s the initial face of the company to the customer and Olympia chose well in having him out front. He listens well, is cordial, thorough and a complete professional. We could not be happier with his work and responsiveness. Also, we were concerned about several pieces of fine art we have. Keven assured us that while they treat all their customers’ goods with great care, he would make sure we had a team who could handle that issue. And he did! Paul Sand, the packing team lead, was amazing and quickly allayed any fears that things wouldn’t be handled expertly. Between Keven and Paul, we’d give 100 stars if we could. The office and the coordination with Candy Longo has been so easy to work with and has made the process, so far, a dream. The entire team listens and responds and today that’s a rare commodity. Candy has been wonderful to work with because she’s responsive, cordial and professional. This is a great group of people. And Paul Sand and his crew in packing and loading were AMAZING!!! The things we noticed the most were that Paul and his crew were so FOCUSED, professional and worked HARD and consistently. Paul was So Easy and Wonderful to work with (as was the whole team) - knew our concerns ahead of time and addressed them and explained how they would approach certain packing issues - and seemed to always be thinking two steps ahead. Rain was forecast for the second day so Paul and his team packed and loaded one full truck the first day so more than half the house was done. And they were able to beat the rain the following day except for a few items at the end that didn’t matter. We have made so many moves over the years from our Navy days to corporate executive moves but so far, this has been the best experience by far. Our experience has been that the entire team, from Keven to Candy and the home office to Paul and his crew work together as the proverbial “well oiled machine.” That’s how it should be but isn’t so much anymore. So Olympia stands out because the group has a work ethic and professionalism that, in our experience, puts Olympia at the top of what a good company should be. We are very pleased customers. We interviewed 3 highly recommend moving companies and while Olympia fell in the middle price wise, Eddie McDaid did the best job of providing us with the level of confidence we needed to get through this daunting process. We are confident we made a great choice. Our first move in 37 years so it was quite overwhelming to imagine surviving it! The entire team held our hands all along the way and never made us feel like we were as annoying as we probably were! The attitude, professionalism and thoughtfulness was really over the top. Starting with Eddie who even returned calls on the weekends when he wasn't on the clock. We could not have been more impressed or felt more at ease given moving is such a difficult event. They carefully wrapped every single piece of furniture, glass, and protected boxes that I packed that were not up to their standards. It was a long difficult day for them and they never had long faces - camaraderie of this team was impressive. We really couldn't say enough about Michue (spelling)? and every person on the team. They all performed at the same high standard. They worked quickly and really didn't take breaks. Even after everything was off the trucks, we went room by room to see if anything needed to be moved around! Very considerate considering we would have had to hire someone else to help us to do that later (we are not physically capable). There was damage to an item that was not brought to my attention. We did purchase the insurance but the deductible is too high to bother with and it was not a valuable item. There was also damage to a ceiling when moving a very heavy sofa bed into a tricky location. A repair person was here 3 DAYS after the file was claimed. Very impressive!! And he did a great job on the repair. The next time, I would try to wait to bring the estimator in until after we had been further along through the elimination process as it may have had some bearing on the original estimate. It may not actually be a realistic option, especially if you like to plan ahead. We would highly recommend Olympia movers to anyone!

This crew does amazing work! As a team, they functioned expertly. They were beyond courteous, and made it very clear that whatever the customer needed, they would make happen. It was a physically demanding move for this crew, and they handled it EXTREMELY well! We are so grateful especially with their degree of care about and for our furniture and possessions. We also want to call out the GREAT work done by the crew foreman - Liviu Leordean. He led this crew of young men with constant teaching and respectful guidance. He is to be commended for his leadership skills... and good humor as well. The entire team, including Dovydas, Albert and Graham did such a good job. We are repeat customers. This is a second home we've moved in the span of nine years. Extremely pleased both times!

it was the best move we've ever experienced and we've had quite a few. Wheaton did the move and they were excellent at both ends.

The total move took approx. 11 hours and 2 trucks. Our team of 5 were fantastic. They were professional, extremely hardworking, knowledgeable, smart and a pleasure to work with. We couldn't have asked for a better team.

It went great. They were flexible, on time, helpful, communicative, conscientious, honest, considerate, deliberate, trustworthy and a pleasure to do business with and work with. Their staff and the movers themselves were truly a pleasure to work with.

I had a complicated move, with things going to two different locations, and things needing to be packed in a specific order. My move team was outstanding. Crew chief Elliot and his partner Jeff were very professional and efficient. They were so hardworking--I was really impressed with them. when you are paying by the hour you want to make sure you get good value for each minute, which I certainly did. Thanks guys!

Olympia Moving and Storage initially took a bunch of our stuff so that we could stage our home, they gave us an estimate for the first load and the second load. I was amazed at how wonderful they seemed to be, they came in and moved out the bulk of our belongings in no time flat (come to find out when they were unpacking the truck with our final move the reason they did it so quickly is they hire non professional cheap young help over the summer that just focuses on moving quickly) We were also told that the estimate we were given by their "professional" was WAY off and turns out both our first and second load were DOUBLE what they had estimated. We were a bit confused and upset but knee deep into selling and looking for a home so figuring we would find a home by the end of the summer we just crossed our fingers and hoped for the best.... 2 years later we found our dream home and were finally ready to stop paying our monthly payments (that we should have clearly disputed in the beginning because they really added up) Over this time there was horrendous lack of communication, once they had our stuff it seemed like any customer service went out the window! When we finally did get someone on the phone or an email, they all threw each other under the but, no one took any responsibility for ANY issue we had. I had been dreaming of the day we got our stuff back for almost 2 years.... long story short because of their own horrible job loading the vans up with our belongings initially 2 years prior, we had NO WAY of knowing if we had all of our belongings once the truck was unloaded. The movers we had that day were wonderful and professional and they were dumbfounded as to why the labels that the initial movers had put on our stuff didnt correspond to each other at all. Frustrated they tried calling their supervisors while we did as well... it took over an hour for anyone to answer or call us back. Our own movers told us NOT to sign their paperwork that they typically have people sign. This is not even mentioning the gross negligence they took with our furniture. We had three pieces of antique furniture that were broken beyond the scope of fixing... from utter, sheer negligence. And unfortunately, until we threatened with contacting a lawyer they wouldn't even return our phone calls or emails.....and whats worse I HAD TOLD SO MANY PEOPLE TO USE THEM AFTER MY INITIAL MEETING WITH THEIR STAFF THAT I THOUGHT GOOD PEOPLE.....NEVER AGAIN! BEWARE!!! IF I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD.... THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR BELONGINGS OR YOUR SERVICE....ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY!!!

It went well. The truck owner was a good communicator and provided clear directions to the loading team. The packers were efficient.

I had a great experience with Olympia. My biggest concern was that I couldn’t be there myself for the move. My wife would have to deal with it. And right from my first phone call to Olympia, John, my contact, gave me confidence that I didn’t have to worry about it. And I didn’t. In fact, my wife texted me twice on moving day saying “the movers are great” and “these guys are angels.” So if peace of mind is part of what you’re looking for in a moving company, I highly recommend them.

Moving can be very stressful, but Olympic Movers made the whole experience pleasant. The moving team (Paul, Mihal, Ryan and Frank) were so hard working, efficient, and professional. Melissa, our moving coordinator was great at getting back to me quickly and making updates and changes to our order. Kevin, our sales rep. was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. We will be hiring them again when we move into our new home.

From the first phone call with Mac to moving day, Olympia has been so helpful and accommodating. And the crew helping us move out of the North End was fantastic! Joe, Mike, and Paul and the whole Olympia team truly made the move stress free! Thank you!

Great service! The crew called when they were about 15 minutes away letting me know they'd be arriving shortly. We did a walk-through and I pointed out what I thought would be difficult to get out of the house. Specifically a refrigerator that had to clear a tight choke point between the stove and the island. All the furniture was wrapped protective pads and, because it was raining, wrapped again in plastic wrap. Everything but the refrigerator was placed on the truck and then came the fun part. They removed the freezer door from the bottom of the refrig to give them some more clearance. They maneuvered it to the choke point and then lifted it straight up 3-4 feet to clear the island. From there it was fairly simple to get it to the truck, although they did have to carry it down the deck staircase. Again, it was no problem for them. Constantine and Vlad were the crew and couldn't have been more courteous or professional on both the loading and the delivery. The items were kept locked on the truck for five days and upon return, everything was carefully unwrapped and put into place. And they took all the trash with them. Excellent job. Thanks!

It was smooth and unbelievably pain free! The team was professional, efficient, competent and confident putting us at ease from the start. I can't thank them enough, they were simply awesome!!

The moving crew was excellent. They went out of their way to carefully package and move all of our possessions. They were friendly and worked extremely hard. We were impressed by their professionalism, A job well done

It was excellent. The company was very responsive the whole time, and the movers were punctual, worked hard, and didn't break or lose anything. They even came back a few days later to pick up some remaining items that I could not bring with me. They also partnered with a great moving company in Hong Kong, who also did and excellent job.

THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. THEY ARRIVED EARLY AND STARTED EARLY HAD 4 MEN WITH TWO TRUCKS ,THEY WERE THROUGH AND PACKED THE 2 TRUCKS AND THEN WENT TO NEW ADDRESS AND UNLOADED ALL ITEMS AND PLACED THEM IN THE ROOMS AS THEY WERE TOLD . NOTHING WAS BROKEN OR DAMAGED . I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM AND WOULD HIRE THEM IF I HAD TO MOVE AGAIN .
