I can't say enough about Wes and S&W Tile. He showed up on extremely short notice, provided an estimate on spot, and then proceeded to tell me additional ways I could save money on the job. For example, he recommended that, given the type and color of tile I was using, I could save 50% or more by changing my tile supplier. He even offered to meet me anywhere anytime when it came time to pick out the tile/grout to make sure the supplies wouldn't cause any issues for him. Regarding the installation, he worked with me to find a time that was agreeable with my tenant, which turned out to be over a weekend. His crew showed up exactly when they said they would, and despite finding some unanticipated problems, finished the job earlier than expected. They were extremely neat and diligent, and adapted to the needs of our tenant, as well as some of the unique aspects of our kitchen (such as as extremely tight clearances between the cabinets and appliances) which was greatly appreciated. Regarding the unanticipated problems, Wes phoned me right away, gave me an exact cost to rectify, and explained very clearly the various options. In general, Wes was in constant communication with me prior, during, and after the installation to make sure my needs were met. Very refreshing. I couldn't be happier with the quality of the installation. It looks terrific, and I'm sure will last a lot longer than the last installation. My tenant is ecstatic. I will definitely be calling Wes if I need tile in the future.
Description of Work: I own a two-family as an investment property. A problem with the dishwasher caused water to get into the subfloor, and the old tiles started popping and cracking. S&W came in, provided an estimate, and then later replaced the entire floor with new tiles and a new subfloor designed to avoid the problem in the future.

Overall our experience with Wes was wonderful. He immediately responded to my request for a quote and gladly came to our house free of charge to look at the job after work one day. He gave us an immediate quote and was sure to clarify that the price could change based on what tile we chose and how much cutting he had to do. He also highly recommended we do all the demo ourselves to save us money, which we did. Even though his quote was slightly higher than others, his customer service was far better! In fact while he was at our house giving us a quote, he got a call from his previous customer that day after her cat jumped into his freshly poured concrete and he went back to her house after answering all my questions (it was already around 6pm). He also checked in with me to see if I had any questions the day after he gave us a quote and happily answered some quesitons about cement board a few weeks later once I finally got around to doing the demo. The day of the install he showed up right on time which all contractors should do, but often don't. He was extremely helpful suggesting different ways we could install the tile we chose- all of which we never would have thought of if we did the job ourselves. He continually checked in with us during the day and had the job done by early afternoon. Though the price seemed a little steep for 3/4 of a day of work, he was worth every penny (I would give him a B+ for price). The fireplace looks fabulous and he saved my husband and I many hours of bickering had we tried to do the job ourselves. We've done a lot of projects on our house over the past 3 years and he was by far the most professional and personable contractor we've hired.
Description of Work: Wes installed new tile around our fireplace and hearth.

First, let me say Wes and Sylvester deserve all the praise they receive in the Angie List reports. We called Wes approximately 3 weeks prior to the start of the work. Wes came out on a Sunday evening, looked over what had to be done, listened to us (very important) and then went over options. After discussing the situation, he provided detailed information of what he would do, how long it would take and the cost. We set a date for the work to be done. Throughout the whole process, both Wes and Sylvester were professionals in attitude, customer service and skill. They were prompt (always a plus!) and neat (another plus). They worked about 9 hours the first day and got all the preparation work done and completely tiled the fireplace and hearth area. They left the room as clean as when they arrived. We liked the fact that Wes consulted us throughout the day when he found something unusual while working and wanted to be sure we were okay with how things were done. Wes was back the next day to grout the tile. The last stage of sealing will be done in a couple of days. My husband and I were more then satisfied with the experience. We highly recommend Wes and his team and plan to use them again.
Description of Work: We have a fireplace that needed refacing. The fireplace once had large river rock and cement covering it. It also had a raised brick hearth. My husband removed the hearth as well as the river rock and cement. He got the fireplace down to the original brick. However, the original brick was very uneven, and he realized we needed a professional to go any further. This is where Wes and Sylvester with S&W Tile come in. They leveled and plumbed the fireplace surface using strapping and Durock substrate. They installed 35sf of fieldstone veneer and 15lf of fieldstone bullnose. They also applied a high gloss sealer to the final product. In addition, when the hearth was removed, the area left had to be tiled as well. Since the entire floor is already ceramic tiled to a cement floor, Wes had to cut away some of that tile to even out the area so that he could apply tile even with the existing floor tile.

We recently remodeled two bathrooms, and the tiler did an awful job. So, we went in search of someone who could come in and tell us the best way to fix the job. Wes came out on a Sunday and spent about 45 minutes with us talking about what he would do if they were his bathrooms. Note, because Wes is a one-man operation, he charges $75 to come out, which is applied toward the cost of the job if you hire him. We were impressed with Wes's advice and honesty, so arranged to have him perform the fixes. Wes worked with me on the price a bit, which was nice. Wes came back the following Saturday with his sometimes partner, Sylvestor. That was fortunate, because Sylvestor is a very skilled tiler, and he works with real silicone caulk which is superior to the "siliconized" water soluble caulk, but MUCH messier to work with. Suffice to say, we appreciate having the permanently water proof silicone caulk, which was installed cleanly and for the same price as the siliconized caulk. After about 4 hours of work, they were done, and then Wes gladly showed me some tricks to keep the tile looking its best, which gave me confidence to do the maintenance myself. Wes was professional the whole time, he exuded a lot of enthusiasm for his work, and he cleaned up very well, leaving us with two bathrooms we are now proud of.
Description of Work: Scraping out and replacing a bad grout job, installing glass border tile in a shower, and caulking all wall seams, floor seams and tub seams.

I e-mailed Wes, as well as other service providers, on a Sunday evening as I wanted to address the water damage in my bathroom as soon as possible. Wes was the first provider to respond and I immediately booked an appt. within a couple of days for an estimate. I have a law student living in my home and he was able to conduct interviews with Wes and other providers during that week while I was at work. Although the estimate that Wes provided was a bit above his competitors, I decided to hire him based on my phone conversations with him and my student's recommendation. Wes actually called me at work (while he was in my home) to discuss his estimate for the work that needed to be done. Other service providers would only e-mail me an estimate the next day. Wes was careful to point out that once the floor was demo'd, the cost and time needed to do the repairs could change significantly as my home is close to 100 years old. This job turned out to be an urgent matter and Wes offered to work over a weekend to complete it. As it turned out, the damage was quite extensive and entailed additional costs - the tile, floor and two sub-floors had to be removed and discarded due to rotting and mold. Wes was able to rebuild the supporting structure, lay a subfloor, floor, cement board and tile. He was able to discard the debris himself and returned on Sunday to grout the tile and finish the job. Wes did a great job and was always very professional and punctual. He kept me updated on each unexpected challenge encounted along the way. Although the job entailed additional costs and the purchase of more materials, I feel the floor was expertly installed and am very confident in the quality of the work provided. I would hire Wes again!!
Description of Work: I experienced unexpected water damage in an upstairs bathroom due to leaking from the tub/shower and toilet. Apparently this water damage was ongoing for many years, without my knowledge, and was not detected until the ceiling in the bathroom below started to crack. I was inexperienced with all aspects related to the decisions I would have to make to remedy this situation - such as floor demolition and replacement of the tile/floor/subfloor. The job turned out to be more extensive and urgent than expected but was still completed over a weekend, in a day and a half as originally planned. Wes and his partner went above and beyond to get the job done.

Wes replied almost immediately to my inquiry and was able to stop by and give me an estimate that day and schedule the work very soon after. On day work was done, he was on time and efficient. He takes pride in his work. Very prompt, personable, informative and professional. Would hire Wes for work in the future.
Description of Work: In large tiled custom shower, contractor removed old grout/caulk, regrouted walls and ceiling, and caulked around edges of floor and marble bench. Caulked around backsplash of two vanities. Sealed marble floor in master bath. In kitchen, sealed granite countertops and filled seams.

Wes was extremely communicative, professional, and proficient. He first came to give me an estimate, and did not charge me for the estimate once we hired him. He worked carefully, made sure not to make a mess, and cleaned up after himself. He is an affable person and welcomes his customers to watch him as he works if they so wish. We had actually hired him after a previous contractor did a messy job tiling our backsplash. We invited Wes to come give his professional opinion on whether to uninstall the tile and redo the whole job, or to just grout over it. He explained the pitfalls when working with the type of tile that we selected (glass subway tile on a mesh - the mesh tends to dissolve or at a minimum is difficult to manage when wet). For that reason, he recommended that we grout and not undo what has been done. His opinion and accompanying explanation gave me the feeling he had my best interest in mind, and that he would recommend no different had he been asked by a family member. Although I admit I did wince at the price, by that point I was hesitant to risk paying bottom dollar for low quality. With Wes I felt like I was working with a true professional. The fact that he is knowledgeable and willing to communicate really made me comfortable paying what I had to pay, not to mention that in the end, his work was meticulous. I highly recommend hiring him for your tiling needs!
Description of Work: This job entailed both grouting of the glass tile on the kitchen backsplash, and some work in the guest bath (seal the tile and caulk the edges of the standing shower)

I called Wes because of his great reviews on Angie's list. He answered his phone right away, answered my questions about the job and said he could come over in 30 minutes to look and give me an estimate, if that worked for me. He was very friendly and immediately noticed I had just had my wooden floors refinished and took off his boots which was so thoughtful! He discussed various options of grout color and was open and honest about what the repairs would look like and gave me a good price for doing the job. He was able to come the next day, today, and arrived right on time, actually a little early. He was super friendly and considerate. He laid clean tarps to protect the wood floors, and brought in a shop vac which he used to clean up debris as he removed the old grout. When some parts of the backsplash started coming off the wall, Wes showed me how they had been improperly installed originally and he replaced them on the wall at no extra charge! We are going to have Wes come back next week after we have a new microwave installed. Then he will cut and replace tile as needed and regrout the backsplash as needed. Wes was completely honest in telling me that the counter repairs would not result in a like-new appearance since the original surface had settled and some of the tiles are chipped; but it is a fix which completely restores the functionality of the countertops and they really look great! The bathroom sinks look new again. Wes was careful to clean everything before he left. He gave me the name of the sealant he likes for sealing the grout so I can do that myself, and said he will give me a quick lesson when he comes back next week to do the microwave installation repairs. I highly recommend S&W Tile and will definitely call Wes again; maybe we'll finally do the tile shower I've been saving for.
Description of Work: Wes cleaned out the 18 year old crumbling grout on my heavily used kitchen countertops and regrouted them. He also caulked around a bathtub and a shower stall and recaulked the seams on two corian bathroom vanities. There were some surprises in the kitchen, when the tile back splash started to come away from the wall because it was improperly installed 18 years ago. Wes took it in stride and replaced the backsplash tiles and repaired gaps in the wall behind the sink before replacing the tile there.

S&W Tile was very professional and transparent in terms of explaining the necessary work, options and associated costs of the job. They expressed sympathy for the temporary disruption caused by the pipe repair and came to work friendly and cheerful, which made an otherwise unpleasant experience more bearable. But the most notable part of the experience was when S&W Tile went beyond the call of duty, and without charge. After the initial pouring and leveling of the concrete, they instructed me on the time it needed to dry. My kitchen does not have a door so I constructed a barrier to prevent my cat from entering. Readers will guess where this story goes. Of course, my cat, being more talented than I ever expected, scaled the barrier and landed squarely in the wet concrete, then ran across it. This was at 8:00 p.m. I immediately called Wes O'Connor, the owner, who despite his busy schedule and young son waiting for him to come home, turned his car around immediately and came back to re-level and smooth the concrete. He also helped me construct a better barrier that worked in deterring my cat. Wes did this with a smile on his face and no charge to me.
Description of Work: S&W Tile repaired and replaced a portion of my ceramic tile kitchen floor that had to be ripped up to replace a pipeline. They poured and leveled concrete, taking care to ensure not to create a raise in floor level, which otherwise would have prevented my door from being able to shut properly. This extra care avoided an additional expense of having to replace my kitchen door. They then replaced the tile on the floor. This required cutting some of the tile to fit in non-conforming spaces, which was done to the very last detail. They then filled in the grout and then cleaned off the floor.

Wes and his crew were prompt, professional and polite. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail is exceptional. They really take pride in their work and made us feel that they really cared about our job. We were having a get together at our house in the evening following our job and they were very sensitive to that and started extra early on that day to be sure that they would be all finished and cleaned up with plenty of time for us to prepare for our party. We were short one tile (my fault, not theirs!) and Wes happily returned a week or so after the job was completed to install the one tile for me. I highly recommend S&W and I will definitely call them again!!
Description of Work: We are replacing our old wood-burning fireplace with a gas insert and hired S&W to reface the old brick with ceramic tile and create a very simple "mantle" out of tile as well.

I purchased a home about a year ago in the South End, and the tile in both the kitchen and the bathroom had cracks, chips and a large amount of wear. When saved up enough money, I decided to get it replaced. I planned to go with a wood-look porcelain tile (Provenza Lignes Karù) in the Kitchen and black honeycomb tile in the bathroom. I called Wes because of his high ratings on Angie's list and he was able to fit me in for an estimate a few days after I called him. After some quick measurements, he explained all of the costs involved in the job, including issues with disposal of the tile, where it would be cut during the job, parking, and the list goes on. He is a very thorough guy. We spent the most time discussing the underlayment underneath the tile; the previous owners had placed poor-quality Home Depot brand tile right over the plywood subfloor, which likely contributed to the cracking and poor wear on the floor. He suggested laying down a 1/4" sheet of a concrete underlayment, but that would have presented a problem in the kitchen where it would make the transition between the tile floor and an existing wood floor problematic, as well as require cutting a larger opening for the refrigerator. Over the next week, we exchanged emails and phone calls about potential alternatives, and ended up picking a rubber underlayment called Ditra to save a little over 1/8" on the height of the floor. Wes was very understanding when it came to my concerns about the height, and the additional cost it would add. The bathroom had fewer height issues, so we went with Durock there. Because it did raise the height of the floor as well, we opted to put a row of tiles around the room on the wall to make the transition between the existing white wall tile and the black floor look better. Wes scheduled the demolition for the next Saturday, and brought his partner Sylvester and another friend along to assist. They put up a plastic sheet to cover any openings to cut down on the dust that would inevitably be created by the demo. They made quick work of the tile, and had the Ditra sheet installed in a matter of hours. Once they were finished, they made sure to clean up after themselves. I chose to do the demolition with some friends in my Bathroom at the same time. Even though I wasn't paying Wes to do the demolition there, he offered tools and advice while we were tackling the job. It was incredibly useful having a pro there to give us suggestions on how to do the job better. The next Monday, Sylvester and Wes came over in the morning and got to work installing the tile. I had to go to work, but trusted Wes enough to give him keys to lock up when he was done. He got all of the installation completed that day, and came the next day by himself to finish the grouting. By 11 am, he was finished, and he did a great job. I couldn't be more pleased by the work that he did at my place. It looks incredible. Thanks Wes and Sylvester!
Description of Work: Remove tile in Kitchen (105 sqft), put down underlayment (Ditra in Kitchen and Durock in Bathroom) and lay tile in Bathroom (53 sqft) and Kitchen. This included a new marble threshold, as well as a row of tiles where the floor and wall meet in the Bathroom.

We scheduled the job for when I was gone on a business trip, so I had to leave him the key to my house. I don't normally do that, but I already had a good feeling about Wes, Not only was he trustworthy, but he also took in my mail while I was gone. He texted me pictures of my floor through every stage of the job, so I was pretty excited to see it when I got home. The pictures didn't do it justice. The floor is beautiful, the work was amazing and Wes is just a great guy to work with. On time, on budget, and I got my mail brought in.I just hope he doesn't get too busy for when I need my next tile job. He's the best.
Description of Work: This was by far the best experience I've ever had with any contractor. When Wes came over to look at the job, I was on a business call and only had about 5 minutes to talk with him. He accomodated my limited time, but gave me exactly what I needed. I did get another quote, but his was better and his reviews were great. The job was to demo the tile currently in the kitchen and install the new tile.

Wes was very responsive when I called him the first time and always answered his phone thereafter. He told me in our first conversation where to get the most economical tile and that he would suggest that we remove the tile that was being replaced ourselves to save on the cost of him doing it. He also recommended that we get all the supplies ourselves. I would say the most important thing when working with Wes would be to WRITE DOWN exactly what he tells you to buy and where to buy it as he is very specific about the materials he likes to work with. The onus lies with the customer to get all the required materials and have the place prepped in the way he tells you to so be sure you have the ability and means to do this work before he begins his job. I'm sure he would do the work himself but we went the route he suggested to save money and since my husband is handy. Overall, we are very happy with the final result and his work. I also appreciated the fact that he was always easy to reach and made himself available for questions and concerns.

I sent Wes an e-mail on Sept. 28th and within 15 minutes received a call back. Wes came the following morning at the designated time and finished the job under 2 hours. He was very professional, polite, friendly and cleaned up beautifully when done. He pointed out some areas that might need to be addressed in the future and assured us he would come back if we had any concerns later on. I recommend him highly and will certainly call him when and if we need tile work later on.

I decided on a Saturday morning that I wanted to have new kitchen and sunroom floors before the end of October. After checking Angie's List, I called S&W Tile, just to leave a message. Wes answered, told me he had some time the following week, and asked if I wanted him to come out to talk about the project, then go with him to Lowe's to choose tile that very afternoon! Which is what we did, and he returned on Tuesday and Wednesday to do the tiling. I think it's the fastest project I have ever done. Wes was very helpful, very courteous, very prompt and responsive. Wes had some frustration with the variation in the size of the tiles (they were all supposed to be the same size), but managed to create a good look. Although I still have to replace the thresholds, the tile is done and looks great. Note: Tiling is one of those projects that requires a lot of waiting: lay the tile and wait 24 hours; grout the tile and wait 48 hours (wash the tile to remove grout haze after 12 hours) ; seal the grout with several coats of sealer, waiting several hours between coats. If one is willing to take on the washing and the sealing, so that a contractor doesn't have to come back, one can save some money.

I found Wes (owner of S&W tile) on Angie's list. I called him and he answered the phone right away. I told him about my project and we arranged for him to come to my house after work that night! (very accommodating). He came and spent some time asking a lot of questions and offering some great advice (since I hadn't purchased my tile yet). He gave me a quote on the spot and told me to contact him once I had my tile and then he would schedule our job. He schedules on a first come, first served basis, which is great. He told me to call him anytime with any questions and I did just that as I was picking out my base tile and tile boarder. I must have called him four or five times and he answered the phone every time no matter what day of the week!!. He made some recommendations on where to shop to save money on quality tile, which ended up saving me money. I called him once I got my tile and we scheduled the job for the next week. He came early in the morning (to accommodate my work schedule) so we could meet before he started to go over the plan. He stuck to the plan and was finished over a three day period. On his last day finishing the job, I wasn't home so he called me a few days later to find out what I thought of the work - excellent customer service!!! and excellent work! I would highly recommend Wes to anyone.
Description of Work: I had my entire master bathroom floor and walls around my tub tiled with porcelain tiles and my kitchen floor re-grouted. For the bathroom floor, Ditra was laid out and 12” tiles were installed in a brick pattern over it. The wall around my tub was tiled using the same floor tiles (and pattern) and a 3” mosaic tile boarder with a bull nose stone motif was installed. S&W tile also installed a marble threshold between the bathroom and master bedroom. For the kitchen, the grout of the entire floor (not originally done by S&W) was scraped out and new grout was installed. S&W also installed a marble threshold between the kitchen and the half-bath.

Wes replied immediately to our email. We conversed by phone and thanks to 21st century technology, he asked that we send photos to him of the holes in the walls which were able to do instantly. He came out the following day, even a little bit early, assessed the situation and actually scheduled and finished the work the following morning. He did explain to us that the replacement tile may not match exactly as the walls were 20 years old and the replacement tiles we had were still new in the boxes. Again, he arrived a little early the next morning, and with no fuss or muss, completed the job. As he said, the tiles do not match exactly, but the job itself was done perfectly and professionally. Wes made sure to leave my bathrooms in the same clean, pristine condition that he found them in, even cleaning up after the messy plumber that was here two days before. I believe he is a true professional, friendly and concerned, and would definitely use him again. I do believe his pricing was a little on the high side, but as we all know, you get what you pay for. I would much rather pay a few hundred dollars more to have someone the likes of Wes do this work and do it so well, than to roll the dice elsewhere.
Description of Work: We had two shower valves replaced by the plumber who had to remove the old tile to get into the walls. These tiles needed to be replaced. We did have some left over tile from the original installation so that was a blessing. The wall around the valves needed to be rebuilt and the new tile installed.

Wes answered my call directly and was able to start work virtually immediately which was very helpful as I was having an increasingly severe leaking problem in my bathroom causing damage in my kitchen below. Wes went with me to Home Depot to purchase all of the materials needed to replace a fiberglass unit shower enclosure and then started work at 7 am the next morning, He put me in contact with a plumber who ended up doing all of the plumbing work for me. Just as my kitchen cabinets were being pulled out to access walls behind to find the source of the leak, it was Wes who realized that water was seeping beneath the floor tiles around the bathroom toilet and clued in the plumber. This saved my kitchen walls and ceiling from being (unnecessarily) torn out. It turned out that it was not the shower area leaking but the toilet. Wes then ripped out the bathroom floor which we discovered and again shopped with me at Lowe's to get the necessary materials to replace the floor. So I wanted a new shower enclosure anyway and am just as happy the flooring was replaced/updated. Given his quick response and getting the work done in less than 3 days and the good quality, I believe his price to be very reasonable. His pricing did not include any materials (all labor) but he provided valuable guidance in selecting the best materials for the job.
Description of Work: Removed fiberglass shower surround unit and tiled in shower walls (with waterproofing). Removed bathroom floor and installed new ceramic tile. Removed a towel bar and replaced 2 wall tiles.

My prior contractor installed tile in the bathroom and did a poor job around the opening for the soap dish. He also failed to install bullnosed tile around the edges of the tile. I called Wes O'Connor from S&W tile for an estimate after reading positive reviews on angieslist.com. He arrived on time, evaluated the work to be done, and gave me options as well as estimates for each option. After settling on the preferred method of fixing the tile he bought the tile and marble (he saved me some money by doing some research and finding some remnants of marble that fit and looked great) and returned the next day to complete the job. He stayed within his estimate and fixed the tile to my satisfaction. He was very personable and knowledgeable. Overall it was an excellent experience and I would definitely hire Wes from S&W TIle again.

I own a property in Watertown, MA that I currently rent out because I live out of state. The Watertown property needed to have the bathroom floor replaced. Their is only one bathroom in the unit so this job was not something I was looking forward to in regards to my tenants not having access to a bathroom and dealing with a contractor when I lived 1100 miles away.........BUT, then I met Wes. I found S&W Tile on Angie's list. I read the reviews and decided to give them a call. One the second ring Wes answered the phone. I wasn't sure if they would be interested in the job because it was small and because I lived out of state. I explained my situation to Wes and he agreed to come and take a look. What impressed me most during the call was that Wes truly listened to what I had to say. As it turned out I had to go to Boston the following week on a business trip so I was able to meet Wes in person. He knew I was only going to be in town for 2 days so he was very accommodating to my schedule. We agreed to meet at the house Wednesday at 11:00. He was early! I had some anxiety about the job because the house is over a hundred years old and that always leads to issues...and issues mean more money than you budgeted for. However his knowledge and confidence put me at ease right away. I showed him the job and described what I wanted. He was professional and knowledgable and offered several suggestions that I did not think of AND he did this without trying to sell me on something and try to make my small job bigger, which I was grateful for. I agreed to give Wes the job he said he could start the next morning. He showed up on time and finished the job on budget with quality craftsmanship. I was very pleased with his work but I want to share what impressed me the most. Wes goes above and beyond in regards to customer service. Not only was he extremely accommodating and honest with me but he was also very respectful of my tenants and helped them understand step by step what the job entailed. Wes started the job Thursday morning sent me pictures throughout the day to update me on the progress and finished that afternoon! AMAZING! His work was meticulous and he clean the job site when finished. I was actually able to see the finished job before I had to leave that afternoon. Impressive speed & quality. My husband and I are already planning to have Wes come back in the fall to do another job for us when we tile around the tub. I HIGHLY recommend Wes at S& W Tile with no reservations. The only mistake you will make is if you don't call him!

The owner, Wes, is outstanding; professional, knowledgeable, extremely punctual, and clean. He offered a variety of tile design placement and we were very happy with the one he suggested (we had not thought about the actual design until it was mentioned). The tile looks fantastic and we are very pleased with his work. We will not hesitate to contact Wes in the future if we need tile service.

He was done in 2 hours with scrubbing and sealing and restored the slate floor from poor sealing of someone else.
Description of Work: I would like to introduce you to the ultimate professional Wes O'Connor. He came to my home and fixed a Mr. Fix it job that I had hired someone else to install. The other individual did a slam down job with sealer and it was all over my beautifully designed slate floor. He came and scrubbed and cleaned it to remove the others haphazzard work. He restored the floor to what it should have been! My French inspired slate floor looks FABULOUS! Thanks Wes
