S & W Tile

From my first interactions with Wes over the phone, to the final conversation with Steve, my experience with S&W Tile was a positive one. Wes was super responsive, getting me a quote on the phone and coming out to the house two days later to look at the space and go over details. I wanted to job done rather quickly, and S&W was able to accomodate me without any trouble. Steve was out as scheduled to do the work. He was always punctual, clean, hardworking, and a general pleasure to have around. He finished quickly and left the place spotless. The tile job is stellar and he even gave me tips about sealing other tile areas in my house. These guys are consummate professionals and I will be using them for all my future tiling jobs.

I contacted S&W tile late on a Friday evening after the handyman working on our bathroom left us with one of the worst tile jobs I have ever seen. From uneven walls to excess grout to the mess outside of our bathroom, this job was a disaster. Wes replied to my email in less than 24 hours and immediately picked up the phone when I called early Saturday morning. From the very beginning working with S&W tile was a delight. Wes was understanding about our situation and very sympathetic. He came by the next day (a Sunday) to give us an estimate and was able to squeeze us in just one week later on a Saturday and Sunday due to a cancellation. S&W tile removed the existing tile in our bathroom, installed new cement board, retiled and grouted the entire shower in one and a half days (less than half the time our handyman spent) and left us with an amazing tile job and a bathroom that was cleaner than when they started. Their tile work is impeccable and they accompany it with flawless customer service. S&W tile gave us our shower back and left us with a tile job we couldn?t be happier with. They saved us in a tight situation, and I only wish we had contacted them first. I wouldn?t hesitate to recommend their work to anyone and will definitely be going back to them for any tile work in the future.

My husband and I hired Wes and Steve to speed up the endless renovation process in our new Victorian house. After ten months of renovations and still much to do, including the bathroom, we felt discouraged about being ever able to move in our new house. Steve and Wes accomplished an amazing work within a few days, as promised. Wes helped us selecting the tiles and design of the bathroom and backsplash. We are very happy with the work, and finally able to move in.

They originally came out to do a regrout on the tub and shower to prevent it from leaking into the basement. When the regrout was started it was discovered that the whole shower needed to be waterproofed which was a much bigger job. They were able to get back to us quickly and they waterproofed the shower and the tub and it no longer leaks. I would use them again in the future.

Spoke to Wes over the phone about backsplash needs, he was knowledgeable and professional. Through looking at photos and our measurements he was able to give us a quote over the phone for $1100 to provide tile and install white subway tile for ~42 sq ft. Schedules were difficult to match up to do the work, but we were not in a rush for the work to be done, scheduled about a month out. Wes and Steve showed up as scheduled on Friday, Steve did the bulk of the work and completed the tiling in ~7 hours. He cleaned up everything and was very professional. Looks great, all of the tile cuts are very professional and smooth and the spacing between is perfect. Our old walls are not exactly flat but Steve did a great job making the tile smooth and flat, what an improvement. We had a slight issue with the grout drying between the granite countertop and the backsplash as overnight it bubbled. I texted Wes on the weekend with some photos of what had happened, he responded right away and said Steve would come back that following Friday to fix it. Steve showed up and put in white silicone over the grout to seal it and conceal any imperfections from the grout, only took him about 20 minutes to complete. Looks flawless. We are very happy with the service all around and would highly recommend them.

Steve did a great job tiling our bathroom! We are very pleased. All went well and everything was left in perfect order. I would not hesitate to use S&W Tile again.

Steve did an excellent job. He was here on time, very clean and he worked with minimum waste of tiles. We will absolutely use his services in the future.

It was good that they discovered this shoddy work before things got too bad. After pulling off all the tile, they saw that there was some damage to the structure and called in a carpenter. He came right over and fixed it. Then they returned and finished the job. It was done in just 2-1/2 days. They were extremely professional and accommodating.

S&W did a great job. First they came and gave us a quote/overview of the project with different options, which was very thorough and clearly explained our situation (why the tile grout was coming out in the first place, etc.) They were able to return to do the work very quickly, and the entire project was completed in less than a day which really minimized the inconvenience of not being able to use our master bathroom. The tile grouting turned out better than we had expected, and the re-caulking looks great. They also did a bit of caulking in our kitchen at no additional cost. Wes was very communicative and professional, as well as friendly and easy to have in the home. I'd definitely recommend this service!

They were able to come within just a couple of days, and worked over the weekend to complete the job, helping me meet an important deadline for the upcoming week. Wes was very responsive and communicated well throughout the process. The quality of the installation was very good, and they helped me work through and problem solve some issues with the tiles (some were thicker than others). They worked very cleanly, and were very considerate and mindful of my home and the project location, which was in my toddler son's bedroom.

As a first time home buyer with no experience with home repairs I really didn't know what to expect. I had an amazing experience with Wes. Wes went out of his way to explain the the work that needed to be done, how long it would take, and what an approximate cost would be. Wes and Steve did an incredible job, the new back splash looks amazing. Their attention to detail and passion for their work shines through in the finished product. A+ work and a very satisfied customer.

Wes and Steve did a great job. They arrived right on time and completed the work in half a day. The tile floor looks beautiful and the problem is solved - no more dripping onto the ceiling below the copper pan. Wes came up with a creative, inexpensive, and quick solution that no other contractor suggested. They did a great job cleaning up, and even replaced a smoke detector battery for me that started chirping while they were there. I highly recommend them.

From the start, Wes was wonderful to work with. He called back within the hour of my initial call for a quote and came out the same day to give an estimate. Pricing was very competitive with other contractors we had gotten quotes from. They were able to start the project the next week. Wes and Steve were always on time and very professional. In addition, Wes provided us with several references to other contractors who were great. This was invaluable in helping us save money and work seamlessly with other contractors who were also very professional (i.e. plumbing, marble & granite company, glass door installation, rubbish removal). Emails or phone calls were always answered usually within the hour. We saved an estimated $3000-4000 that we would have paid in overhead to a General Contractor by coordinating the project ourselves with Wes. Most importantly, Steve & Wes provided us with a beautiful finished product. Will 100% use them again for any future tile projects we may have!

I have used Wes and Steve before when we did our bathrooms over last summer and the work they did was so impressive that I knew when we started planning our kitchen remodel they would be the ones to do all of our tile work. We put in tile floors that resemble hardwood floors in our kitchen and dinning room and they came out awesome. We also did over the entry way and added a decretive tile layout there again top notch tile work. Finally we did the back splash but added a picture motif behind the range which came out beautiful. I would highly recommend using S&W Tile to anyone they do beautiful work and are very responsive.

Wes replied to my inquiry quickly on a Saturday afternoon, we talked through the job via phone and email. Wes was always very responsive throughout the project. He arrived at the house promptly at the scheduled time and worked with my wife and me on the tile layout. Wes and Steve completed the installation with professionalism and cleaned up after themselves. We are very happy with the end result.

They were a pleasure to work with. The day they were to come, was a day when a big storm was predicted, and they kept in touch with me from 9 the night before until 7 the next morning, about whether they would be able to do the job. They were really responsive, and responsible. They were able to come out during the snow. I think they were expensive, and I had a conversation with them about it, and they explained why they charged what they did, and I would hire them again.

We could not have been happier with the work that Wes and Steve did. They were very collaborative and provided great suggestions on locations where we could purchase good quality tiles at a reasonable price. They were very responsive and truly a pleasure to work with.
