NW Pest Control Inc

NW Pest Control came to look at possible bed bug infestation. They were professional and punctual. No evidence was found, but they put out glue strips to see if any other insects might be present. They did not charge for their efforts. I will use them again to remove some unknown rodents in my attic.

I pay them quarterly and they come once a month. We have had so many different pests. They have done a full range of stuff for us. They are very responsive. I have certainly got my monies worth.

My initial call was attended to courteously and promptly. An appointment was made and kept to come out, give a free estimate and, if I agreed to the price, perform the work that day. The mouse baiting happened that day, as well as the filling of some of the external entry points but the service man ran out of filler (caulking) and had to come back another day. Another appointment was made which I had to change. They were very accommodating. Another appointment was made and kept. The job was finished without a hitch. Cannot say that I will have no more mice, but have had no further evidence of any so far. The treatment is for 6 months. They offered additional service which I decided not to take.

We have a contract with them. They are due to come out again. They are pretty thorough and they have been informative. They are personable and explain stuff. The quality has been very good. Their responsiveness has been excellent. We really don?t have appointments. Sometimes we have to be here, but sometimes we don?t.

I had a carpenter ant problem and called NW Pest control to come out to give me an estimate. They were able to come out rather quickly, one day after my call. The window I was given for my appointment was between 10:00 - 2:00. The person first called and told me he would arrive at the later end of my window. He then called a couple hours later to tell me he was running late. He actually didn't arrive until after 3:00 pm. This was sort of a waste of a Saturday but he was very apologetic and I did appreciate that he called to keep me updated on the status of his arrival time. When he arrived, he was very pleasant and professional. The ants were gone for a couple of days but I began seeing them again. I called the company about two weeks later and got the answering servcie. They took a message saying someone would return my call but they never did. I called back a few days later and requested another treatment. They did come out to spray again but I do still occassionally see the ants. I guess this kind of thing needs several treatments.

They come for general pest control spraying and if I have any issues they will also take care of that. For example every single summer, they make at least two service calls to take care of either hornets or bees and things like that and they come out and take care of the entire issue. Everything goes fine. They come out four times a year, they provide quarterly service. We pay $375 a year, we are under a contract. They let me know when they are coming ahead of time, and always leave a receipt at the door showing what they have done. Whenever I have had an issue between my service dates they have always been right on taking care of it with no additional fee, which is nice. I would continue to use them in the future.

They were okay and a lot of people loved them and they had good recommendations. The thing is that we weren?t home, so we don?t really know if they did the work or not. We did not feel like we trusted that, so we now switched to a different provider. They have a good reputation. I had to pay probably an initial charge and then $ 80 four times a year for every season. Their pricing is comparable and I liked that we could pay 4 times a year. We had an attic and since we were renting the house, it was bolted down, so nobody would go into the attic, but finally one guy came and he unscrewed the screws and went in. I said to him that he was going above and beyond the call of duty and that none of the other men went in there and he said that they must have been lazy and that they should have been going up there. They were excellent about being responsive.

I use NW Pest in my own home and thought of them first when we had problems at work. We are behind a grocery store, and there was recently construction next to us, so mice have become a problem. NW did a great job and we are on a program now so we can keep ahead of the problem.

I really like them. I love them and they are great. There was new construction and there were a lot of misplaced creatures, which tried to come into our house. They have been great. Their office people are great. They always make an appointment and are always on time. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend them to anybody. I will definitely use them in the future.

He told me that if I see another one to call him, so I did see another one or more. So I called him and he came back. Although I saw the trap, I did not see a rat caught in the trap. He came out once and I did see another rat. He then came out again and I think there was more spraying and they possibly laid some more traps. Since then I never had a problem. He was very quick and very good. I would use their services again in the future.

An appointment was set up for the following Monday, the young man (I forgot his name) came on time. He couldn't see anything from the attic's scrawl space, so he went outside to check (with a ladder) what he could see. He told me that it was squirrels and that he would have to come back to set traps, it would cost $450, he would return every day to check the trap, and he would return the following day if I wanted him to do the job. As promised, he returned the following day and said that birds were flying in and out of my attic, so he had to reschedule as the traps he had were for squirrels. Two days later he came with another worker, the holes were screened and sealed off. I was charged $400 instead $450. The only reason I gave this company a B is because they did not clean up after themselves. The first day, snow and grit were tracked into the house and insulation from the crawl space, fell on the floor. On the last day they left three empty caulk containers in the driveway.

NW Pest gave us a prompt estimate. They came back at the designated time and promptly treated the nest and removed the yellow jackets.

I would say they responded quickly - I called and they returned the call and provided an estimate same day (granted this was exterior work so no appt would be required). I accepted the quote and they started work when they said they would. Unfortunately, they didn't catch the raccoon - I cannot blame the company just my bad luck. I haven't seen the raccoon in several weeks so perhaps the wire mesh was a help. I would recommend them.

They sprayed with only cedar oil the first time they came in the end of November. That did not get rid of the fleas, so they came back in January and sprayed some rooms with chemical and some rooms with cedar oil again. It seems to be working. The first guy they sent out was late arriving and seemed to be in a hurry. He didn't want to spend much time at the house. The second guy they sent, Erik, was more helpful and thorough. He seemed like he really cared about helping us get rid of our problem. The manager we spoke to on the phone was always knowledgeable and helpful.

My apartment had bugs. They did a visit the weekend after I called & checked the entire house. They told me about additional issues they saw & what the best solutions were. He gave me options for services they provide. I hired them to come quarterly & do regular mantenance. These guys are great!

It went very well. We got an estimate from them. They then did the work and came back to do the follow up work on schedule and on price.

He arrived on time. He did an inspection of the whole house and took a detailed history of the problem. He gave his diagnosis, and the rationale for his conclusion. He explained that there wouldn't be damage to the house from the mice, which had been my concern. Their price seemed fair so I went ahead the same day with treatment. It only took 15 minutes, and I have never seen or heard mice again, despite the cold weather.

During summertime, I noticed that I had some ant problems. So, they came out and took care of the insect problem outside. However, they bound me into a contract wherein they would come out once a quarter for $85. When I used them for the first time, I thought that it was a one-time deal. However, they came out again the next quarter. They charge $285 a year and they charge it incrementally across quarters. They did a good job. They did what they said they would do. I don?t have any ants now. However, they didn?t explain the entire contract very well. I wanted to get out of the contract and when I asked them to call me back, nobody called me. I will continue to use them because I don?t have a choice now.

The experience was very good. They were prompt, they came when they said they would. They took care of a job that was a little bit dangerous because they were coming in where the power line was coming in. The price was reasonable. It didn't take them very long to do.

They were really responsive and timely. They were reasonable in their pricing. They addressed the problem quickly and it seems to be working so far after 3 weeks. They guarantee their work for 6 months. I think they were really effective.

I had one squirrel in chimney and one squirrel in attic/bedroom wall. Called on a Sunday for a quote; quote given was $250. Managed to get rid of chimney squirrel on my own and had a friend patch up the hole. Couldn't get rid of attic/wall squirrel, so called back to schedule a time. Double checked price; price was not $250 to $350. Made an appointment. Guy showed up, price was now miraculously $450!!! I agreed to price since I was totally sleep deprived (from attic/bedroom wall squirrel) and desperate. They couldn't do anything for a few more days. When the technician showed up, for some reason he focussed on the chimney squirrel (which I had told him repeatedly was gone already) and ignored the bedroom wall squirrel!!! Watched him in amazement for a couple of days (wondering how someone could be so dim) and tried repeatedly to gently suggest he do something about the squirrel in the attic/bedroom wall. FINALLY after +1 week got him to place a trap where the squirrel was obviously getting in. He caught nothing. He finally ended up placing poison traps (because he couldn't do the "animal removal" he was supposed to do. Promised me animals would leave the house to die... which of course they did not. I did contact the company about the amazingly different prices, and they did honor the first price $250 I was given. However, I had to really fight and negotiate and repeat that I had confirmed the price. However, since they accomplished nothing, I still paid too much! Unprofessional, INEFFECTIVE and, quite frankly, not that bright. Plus I really felt cheated about the price thing. Would never ever hire these people again. Moth balls in attic much cheaper, easier, and effective. And you don't end up with dead animals.

Went well. We were told the least it would cost was $500 and were pleasantly surprised when that was the actual charge.

Fine. there is no story. They came when they said that they would, they did what our contract provided. I was very satisfied.

Excellent - very professional. We already used them again (bees this time).
