We think they're ok. We have noticed significantly less ants since they started spraying the exterior.

They are great and I use them all the time.

We have used them for a number of years. They are very reliable

They gave me a quick quote by phone. They were supposed to call me the next day (a Friday) to schedule the appointment, but I didn’t hear anything. I attempted to contact them twice and didn’t hear anything back until it a couple weeks later, once it was too late.

I wanted to like this company, I really did! About 18 months ago we hired NW Pest Control to remove flying squirrels from our attic. Their price was much better than a competitor and Dave, who did the work, was really pleasant to us and explained the whole process. He came back every other day for a week to remove the squirrels that were caught in the traps (they also set complimentary mice traps in the attic and garage) and we were charged $550 plus $20/squirrel (total of $60). In December we realized we had them again. The original warranty was for only a year so, unfortunately, we had to have them removed again. This time we talked with Steve- he said the lowest he could go was $450- we were a little disappointed b/c the original $550 included setting up ALL of the screens at ALL of the soffets/ridge vents/gables, which was pretty labor-intensive. This time, even though they needed to check all the possible entry points we didn't think it would require as much labor. So Steve said we could pay $300 but we wouldn't have a warranty with it. He also said he's never heard of NW Pest charging for removal of squirrels, even though we did 18 months ago. So he said that's included in the cost. We had them come on December 13th to do the work- we decided on the $300 version w/no warranty and basically said "hey, if it doesn't work this time we're definitely not using this company again". When Steve left he told my husband he'd be back to check the squirrel traps. He said they found a possible access point and sealed it up- that made us happy that they had done the job well. A few weeks later we still hadn't heard anything about them coming back (checked the attic and have 3 dead squirrels up there) so we called. They set up an appointment for today, 1/9/12 between 8 and 12. Both my husband and I waited around and after 12:00 we called to see what was up. They told me they left me a voicemail (which didn't come in until 12:08) to say that they had talked to Steve and he said we agreed on the $300 price with no warranty (TRUE) and that we told him we'd remove the dead squirrels ourselves (FALSE) b/c we had no warranty. We chose the cheaper route (i.e. no warranty) b/c we decided that, ONCE THE JOB WAS COMPLETED AND WE WERE SURE THERE WERE NO MORE SQUIRRELS up there, we'd deal with it if the squirrels came back in the future. We have no idea of knowing if any more squirrels are getting in or are already up there which is why we expected them to come back (as they did the last time around- even if they had to charge us for it) to empty the traps and re-set them. To call us at 12:08pm, after the 4 hours we waited for them, and leave us this message that it wasn't covered is ridiculous. Maybe he misunderstood us, but like I said, he told my husband when he left that they'd be back to check the traps. They could've called or told us right when we made the appointment last week. When my husband just called them back to see why they weren't coming they offered to send Steve out again to remove the traps, but honestly, I didn't want him to give me attitude when he showed up that we were wrong. Plain and simple, the job wasn't completed and they're saying we agreed to something (removing the dead squirrels ourselves) that we didn't. It's too bad, we had a great experience with them the last time around but this time (maybe it was just that we dealt with Steve and not Dave) we are really disappointed. If they want to send someone else out to remove the squirrels and not charge us then we'll go along our merry way and have no warranty. But at this point, the job has not been completed so we cannot give a good rating.

NW showed up on time after calling me when they were close so that I could meet them there for the estimate and for the work, which was very convenient. They took care of the problem over a few days and then blocked off the entrance and a couple other potential future entrance locations for the little buggers. Very professional and very prompt service. I would recommend NW Pest.

The guy who came out was great and I got them from Angie's List. I thought their price was great; I got a $35 Angie's List discount. They were very honest and did not try to sell me anything; there was nothing uncomfortable about them. I will use them again in the future.

Everything went very well. They were very straightforward and efficient. He came back when he said he would and I am very happy with their service. I would use them again.

It was a good experience. They were professional and got the job done. They took care of the issue and my tenets have experienced no problems. I would recommend their services. They communicated effectively and kept me updated throughout the service.

They are the ones that were used by the people who maintained the house before me. They are just very reliable. They come when they say they’re going to come. I pay them once a quarter and it’s not the same person that comes out every time. I’ve had a couple of people for the last few years. They seem reasonable to me in terms of price. I haven’t compared their prices to anybody because I haven’t used anyone else. I will use their services again in the future.

I called NW Pest because I had water-logged rotten wood around some of my windows. The contractor I hired to replace the wood around the windows recommended that I get a pest control firm to have a look to make sure that we would not be 'sealing in' any insect populations during the repair. NW Pest came out within 2 days to inspect and give an estimate if treatment was needed. They offered me a 3 hour window appointment with a 30 min advance cell-phone call. I got both and they were 100% on-time. Best of all, Andrew inspected my windows of concern and said that he saw no signs of insect-related damage or problems. How's THAT for honest? I did not get charged for the inspection because it was an estimate/inspection call. How refreshing to have a contractor *not* try to sell me something I didn't need. If I do encounter any pest problems in the future, I will *definitely* be calling NW Pest and recommending them to my friends!

They do an excellent job! If we need them in between scheduled appointments, they come out right away with no problem or charge. They are very professional and are very dependable.

They do a good job. They come out every 3 months automatically. They always do the outside of the home, and if the inside needs done, they will do that at no extra cost. They are very accomodating if you need an extra visit.

We just got the bill and its $85. Their service has been wonderful. I think they’re very efficient and also very fair in their pricing. In fact the man who came out the first time misquoted us the price but they honored that price when they came out, which I thought was fabulous. They do a pretty good job. We have no critters and so that means they are doing good. We just got a few other estimates but theirs was the cheapest. They also did the best job. I don’t know anybody who would want to do the job. Their quality was excellent. We will absolutely use their services again in the future.

This second time, the person who came didn't seem to know why they were here or what my ant problem was and the spray didn't work. I'm just letting nature take it's course at this point. My plan is to use a home remedy next Spring.

I've been doing a historic renovation on my 110 year old Victorian home and noticed some small burrow holes along the exterior door trim out of which came what appeared to be an ant with wings. Concerned about carpenter ants (and the damage they can do!) I called a number of Pest Control companies. By far, NW Pest Control was the best in terms of promptly returning my call. They sent someone out, Fred who confirmed that it was a carpenter ant, examined and treated our property and we haven't had a problem since!

They did a wonderful job. They also provided a written statement that there were no termites found during the inspection.

After using NW Pest for a nasty hornet situation, we had to call on them again when we discovered we had mice. They came out quickly, described what they needed to do and then went about setting bait traps throughout the house. So far, so good. The peace of mind alone is worth every penny. They also told me that since I had just had the hornet treatment that I could sign the quarterly contract they left for me initially and get a years worth of service for another $90 a quarter. A great deal and really good service.

The first guy was very nice, and he seemed to know what he was doing. They called before the second appointment to see if they could come earlier. They had do send someone different than was originally scheduled. This second guy didn't have any information about the first visit. The problem seems to have gotten better after the second visit. They said to wait 30 days to see if the problem is solved.

Initial impression is excellent. Long term success may take years to assess.
