Description of Work: I had a heating vent valve that was leaking water onto my garage floor for a few days before I discovered it. Dennis and his son came out that afternoon and replaced the part. Took about an hour to perform. |Would not hesitate to use them in the future.

Description of Work: Denis came promptly and he addressed the problem quickly. While here he diagnosed another plumbing issue I asked him to look at. Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal from this company. I didn't get to use it before it expired. When I did need a plumber, I called Denis Goguen, explained about the expired coupon and asked if he would honor it. Initially, he refused to even honor it for what I paid for it -- I think that *may* acutally be illegal. Eventually, though, he relented somewhat and agreed to honor it for something less than what I paid for it. I called Angie's List customer service and fortunatley, they offered to either contact the plumber for me, or refund the money I had paid for the Big Deal. I chose the refund. If I had to work that hard to get him to minimally honor the coupon, I figured he wasn't going to be happy and I wasn't going to be happy with him!

 + -1 moreIt took two tries to reach him, the first an email and the second a phone message. He returned the phone call and the actual service was the next day. The work was performed satisfactory. There were some issues about the securing the flange to the floor, not his fault but it did slow him up. The entire job took less than two hours and he cleaned up after himself. No real complaints and I probably use him next time.
Description of Work: The service call involved replacing a cracked toilet base and rioted flange. The cost reflects the $99 Angies' promotion coupon. The extra $25 for materials. I'm sure the suspect the retail cost would be more otherwise.

 + 0 moreDenis was the second contractor to look over our water heater--but the first to think to call the manufacturer and check whether it was still under warranty. It was, and though that model was no longer made and we had to pay to upgrade to a better model, we still saved hundreds of dollars because of that call. He offered to do the work the next day; arrived when he'd said he would; installed the new water heater in the amount of time he'd expected; and cleaned up at the end. We're going to keep him in mind for the next time something comes up.
