Pinho Landscaping

The job was a disaster and when we went to find this guy he had shut down his office in Framingham. Avoid this idiot like the plague.

This review is being offered to help others avoid the hassles, frustration, and loss of resources I experienced with Mr. Pinho and his crew. November 2013 court date has been scheduled to resolve outstanding issues from July 2012. In preparation for my court claim, I learned that Mr. Pinho had a "D" rating with the Better Business Bureau, in 2009 his firm was listed on the debarment list for Massachusetts, and in 2008 his employees successfully took him to court for back wages. Based upon my experience, none of this now surprises me. In April 2012 we met and discussed a major landscaping of my front yard whihch involved new bed design as well as relocating about 10 plants and adding about 80 more. Between April and July he repeatedly missed appointments, did not return calls, and repeatedly delayed the work to be done. Disposal of material was not completed as agreed. Installation of asphalt walkway was substandard and agreed to be replaced (as of this writing no replacement, thus court case). My experience was that every couple months he changes his phione number, deals only in cash up front, and on more than one occassion had a crew on my site doing nothing for hours. He tries to renegotate agreed upon prices, does not put things in writing and offers to do work that is beyond he skills. Bottom line save your self the headaches and court costs and find someone else!
