There was a question about the extent of the service that we were expecting for that repair. We were expecting them to replace the house trap and a video that would show out to the street, so we were disappointed. The trap is fine, we are just not sure if it is clear since we can not visibly see it.

I was very happy with the work. The most important part, for me, was that Titan was able to look at my disaster of a heating installation and determine how it could be altered to work correctly. I talked to a number of other people and no one else could do that type of problem solving for me. After they developed a plan, the work went very smoothly--they were on time, on budget, and always willing to explain what they were doing. I'd work with them again and recommend them to anyone I knew.

I would not recommend Titan Plumbing, as I did not have a good experience with Jarrod, and ultimately decided NOT to hire them. Jarrod came to my house to give me an estimate on the work outlined above. For the pedestal sink I needed installed, I knew it needed to be anchored to a board in the wall, but I wasn't sure whether or not there was already one in place. Jarrod told me I'd either have to cut into the wall myself, or hire a carpenter to do it (the plumber I ultimately hired just did it himself as part of the job). In addition, when Jarrod was putting the 2 pieces of my pedestal sink together to see what kind of work it would entail, he chipped the porcelain on my sink! I would've been more ok if he had been apologetic, or concerned, or had offered to replace it, but instead, he shrugged his shoulders and said, "Oh well, that's no big deal, you can't see it anyway." I was shocked and apalled. To make it worse, by that night, the chip had turned into a crack all the way down the length of the pedestal, so I had to go to the store and plead my case in order to be able to exchange the sink for a new one. In addition, I needed my existing toilet rebuilt and re-installed. The porcelain was in great condition, but the flange was rusted and corroded and the toilet itself didn't flush. I just wanted someone to rebuild and resintall it, using the existing structure, but Jarrod refused. He told me I'd have to buy a new toilet for him to install because "it wasn't worth it" for him to do anything to my existing toilet (he would ONLY give me a price for an install of a NEW toilet, NOT rebuilding my existing toilet, as I had asked). In addition, Jarrod's total estimate was 50% higher than the other estimate(s) I had received, and Jarrod's estimate didn't even include the cost of the brand new toilet he was requiring me to purchase. I have since hired someone else and this work has all been completed, exactly as requested, and I haven't had any problems whatsoever with my "existing toilet."

I called Titan Plumbing around 5:30 PM on the 25th. I arranged a visit for the 26th and Jared showed up on time we went to the problem toilet he used a heavier snake unit than I have and cleared the clog in minutes. Jared was thoroughly professional and a pleasure to work and talk with. I highly recommend Titan for all your plumbing needs.

There are people who do a job. There are people who do the job in a way that allows you to tell they enjoy and take pride in their work. Finally, there are people who do all that and when they're done you wish they were part of your family. Titan's Dan called because of a cancelation and offered to come early, which was great for us. He went right to work, but like a good doctor not before listening to all our plumbing concerns and drawing from us all the right information about each one. Then he operated, quickly, efficiently, neatly. When he was finished, the shower which had stopped bestowing hot water suddenly worked better than the upstairs one we thought was fine. He did a neat job in a tight space for the dehumidifier drain. In each case, instead of doing an almost perfect job, he did just a bit more than asked, a "pluperfect" job. This company doesn't just care about high quality work, it cares about connecting with people. What a treat.

I spoke to Jared who asked how I got his number and I told him I got it from Angie's List. He said that he loves the people from Angie's List. I needed a faucet installed. He said he'd come and see if it was the correct faucet, and then give me an estimate. He came on time. I noticed he wore plastic booties on his shoes. Good start! He clearly explained that the faucet was fine, but that whoever had installed my vanity had put in a trap that was illegal in MA. Was my drain slow? Yes, it is because the hair, etc gets trapped there and won't go down. He explained the prority customer plans which save you money. I got the silver plan which was only $175 and included a 13 point annual inspection. This is very inexpensive compared to other plans I've had. When he was done I had a beautiful faucet and a drain that actually works the way it's supposed to work. The motto at his shop is : Don't do it if you wouldn't do it in your mother's house. He was finished in 45 minutes, left everything clean, is friendly and extremely knowledgable. I finally have an honest plumber and heating man who knows what he's doing. Jared is great. Hire him.

On a Friday at 6:30AM, we did not have hot water and discovered a leaking water heater. Not having a regular plumber, I called Titan Plumbing, and Jared returned my call within minutes. He assured me that he could replace the water heater that day and would be at my house that afternoon. He came at 2:00, looked at our setup, explained my options and all costs involved. Since I had already done some research, I knew I wanted a Bradford White 10 year water heater. He went to get it, came back promptly, and installed it without a problem. I was quite pleased to be treated as a valued customer from my initial contact. Jared has since returned to install new bathroom faucets. He is pleasant, respectful and explains everything clearly. I feel very secure knowing that Titan Plumbing is just a phone call away.

The appointment went very well overall. They arrived early for the appointment (calling ahead to be sure it was ok) which was great for me. I showed him what I wanted done and where and after explaining to me completely what he would do and how much it would cost I had him do the work. He completed it quickly and to my satisfaction. He was very honest and forthcoming with information, explaining how to stop a minor leak on my shut off valve without me asking. I would definately use them again.

They were able to give some tips on how to optimize the savings.

I signed up for the Gold Plan, they were supposed to do a drip test and furnace cleaning. They never did the drip test. They were supposed to come out in September for the furnace cleaning, stated that they had called me twice but I never heard from them. At this point I do not want them back in my house. I was supposed to get %15 off of future services. You are not really getting anything for that. When we had an issue with our furnace he was trying to push a $1000 major job which I did not need. It was a ten dollar part that needed to be serviced. I really like their work but I don't trust them. I think they push more work than you need and they are expensive.

Jared had come out for another job, and I mentioned the sink - we talked about what would need to be done, he gave me a quote, and came out today to do the work. My son had dropped a rock (a very, very special rock) down an already sluggish drain, and it clogged. Jared came out and rescued the rock, and cleared out the rest of the clog. He then replaced the plumbing under the sink. He tidied up afterwards, and showed me while he tested the sink. It's never drained so well! And, at my request, Jared gave me the rock. I showed my son the (soap-scummed) rock, and he agreed to be more careful with his treasures next time.

Jarid was quick to return my phone call and I was able to make an appointment in a reasonable amount of time. Though I personally was away from home when the work was done, he called me during and after the work to make sure all was done to my satisfaction.

At the initial consultation, the Technician reviewed the current situation and provided a detailed quote on the upgrades and improvements required to bring plumbing up to code as well as replace existing faucet and disposal. Date of Service the technician arrived early and finished the improvements ahead of schedule. When the faucet I selected did not fit the current holes in the counter, the technician completed the update to plumbing with quick shutoffs just beneath the sink. This allowed me to make minor adjustments to the counter and easily install the faucet I selected the same day. I am delighted with the finished product.

The process was great. They are real pros. near the end of the second day there was a tiny problem. Tim and his crew stayed at my home until almost 11PM making sure I had heat before they left. They installed a top of the line Boderus 95% efficient boiler and a super store hot water system. I am thrilled with it. I will report back when I get a few bills in. I can't wait to see how small they are...

Tim and Jarod are very reliable. They were quick to respond to my call. They were able to resolve the problem and identify other problems that could have became a bigger problem. Its great to have a plumber who is very knowledgeable, reliable and someone you can trust. Thank you Tim and Jarod for your hard work and for sacrificing your day off.

On time, very reasonably priced. Did the work ahead of schedule and when they left it as so clean you did not know they were even there.

I was very impressed with the service I received from Titan Plumbing & Heating. Tim responded to my call very quickly. When he came out to appraise the job, he had clear understanding about my problem. He was able to provide me with some information about my boiler and steam pipe system. The leaky steam pipe has been fixed, There's no more restless nights from loud banging pipes. No more complaints from tenants. One less worry as a home owner. Overall the project went well, although I thought the prices were a little higher than others I have seen quoted on Angie's List. Titan responded to our inquiry quickly; the plumber arrived promptly & explained all the work & charges. All the work was completed during a half-day, and he cleaned up before leaving.

They came on time, did a great job, and cleaned up.

TITAN PLUMBING IS THE ONLY PLUMBING COMPANY WE HAVE USED SINCE 2002. THEY ARE GOOD PLUMBERS, BUT DID NOT USE THEM FOR HOT WATER HEATER INSTALL B/C FOUND BETTER DEAL. THEY DO NOT PROVIDE 24 HOUR SERVICE IN THE SUMMER NO MATTER WHAT THEIR ADDS SAY! WEEKENDS ONLY HAVE PHONE SERVICE ANSWERING - DO NOT ALWAYS GET A CALL BACK. HAVE HAD THEM MESS UP TWICE, BUT ALWAYS CAME BACK AND FIXED ISSUE WITHOUT GIVING ME A HARD TIME.
