It was "uneventful" in that no problems were found with the furnace or water heater. The technician was polite, friendly, courteous and did a great job in making sure that my house remained clean and no dirt escaped, The technician did not identify the noisy blower for the furnace - I pointed this out to him. I received a very expensive quote to replace it - I did not use Titan Plumbing for that work since the quote was 3 times more than the alternative. I was also advised that my water heater is a couple of years beyond the end of its warranty and needed replacement "just to be on the safe side". Since there were no symptoms of any degradation of performance, or issues of any kind, the expensive quote he left me with went nowhere. The basic service was ok - it was a straightforward maintenance job. I was not over-impressed with the skill or knowledge of the technician. It all seemed to be about the "upsell" rather than finding ways to extend the life of my existing equipment. Not dissatisfied, just a little skeptical.

Jared unreeled video cable with a camera at the end, and fed it through the main sewer line. He showed us breaks in the wall of our 100+ year old line, and a variety of roots growing inside. For not being able to see the pipe without digging, it was amazing technology. Jared gave us different scenarios of causes and effects and consequences; if we needed to have corrective work done we would definitely put Titan at the top of the list to do the work.

The job went as well as could be expected, and only moderately inconvenienced us. We lost some front shrubs to the excavation, though some others were dug up, then moved back whence they came. The new sink installation is very satisfactory. Since the sewer line passed under our front walk, it was broken up for the excavation. At my request, they put the pieces of concrete back as best they could, so that we would not have to walk on mud until we could have a proper replacement installed. The only part of the job that did not go so well was their attempt to make a new cover for the hole in the basement floor near the sewer clean-out, which they had enlarged for access. I had to contrive some wood boards to fit it better.

I have been using Titan for almost a year now, and they are always very professional. I have not had a problem with them, and I will hopefully have a lifelong plumber with them.

Poorly given the advertised deal wasn't what the provider understood it to be.

As I said previously, everything went very well. I was very pleased!

They did a thourough job cleaning the bolier. In the course of the cleaning they noted two problems (leaky copper piping going into my hot water tank and a circulator pump that was getting ready to fail. They provided a quote to do the work but it was rather high so I opted to wait and get other bids. Turns out their quote was 50-75% higher than the bids I got from other reputable companies for the same work so I am glad I waited. OVerall though, they did a nice job servicing the boiler and answered the questions I had.

Although it was anticipated that some work would be necessary to clear some root build-up in the sewer line, based on a plumber's recommendation four years ago that it be cleaned out every 3-5 years as routine maintenance, Titan said it was too dangerous to do that work because it might cause a collapse of the line. Their recommendation was that the line be replaced, which would require digging a trench from the house to the street, removing foundation plantings, trimming a tree so that a backhoe could gain access, getting a permit from the city, paying for a police detail, etc. All of this was estimated to cost $16,000. Needless to say I got a second opinion, and the line was cleaned out with no problems by a different company, with the advice that it be done again in about 3 years or so.

The young man arrived on time and my husband took him to the basement to look at our water heater. There was an overflow valve we were watching because it was dripping a little bit. It didn't seem to be affecting anything, but we wanted to be sure. The technician told us that we were sitting on a time bomb and that the water heater could go at any minute. He wrote up a proposal for a $3,000 job - a Super Stor stainless steel water heater that would replace the one we had now. He was very informative in telling us how water heaters gained their warranty ratings (10 year, etc.). We decided to get a second opinion, and so that is what we did. We were pleased with the Big Deal in that we got what we expected from it - an opinion and a recommendation.

According to my husband they were more interested in writing up an estimate for over $8,000.00 that outlined all the things that they determined we should have them do. This experience has made him very negative about all deals. He was that unhappy I spoke with him again to confirm the correctness of my statement.

Jared did an incredible job removing the old cast iron sewer pipe and making sure that the areas were fully prepped in order to avoid any potential spills or messes. He is extremely knowledgeable in what he does and did an incredible job installing the new sewer line and plumbing to ensure everything works optimally. He is very meticulous and does the job quickly but without rushing to ensure everything is done correctly and perfectly. I've definitely used Titan Plumbing for additional follow up service calls and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

The good news, it was an awesome value at $49 to get a sense of how the sewer line is performing and get some peace of mind. The bad news, peace of mind went out the door when reality met up with fantasy. it just happens that our sewer line had been gradually backing up over the past 10-15 years or so, we'd only purchased the home about 3 years prior. Once we realized the situation, Jared did an exceptional job of going over all the options at our disposal to remedy the issue. In our case, it just made the most sense to replace the old cast iron pipes and sewer line before the problem escalated. That's a separate entry for a separate service... I've used them for several service calls and have been very pleased with their service.

Titan employee told us we had to have the trap removed from the line before he could clean out the tree roots. We subsequently used another provider, who said the trap was no problem.

We asked them to leave when they began to give us crazy quotes for a very simple job. End of story.

Titan Plumbing did a great job. Jared came over to our house and was really helpful. He worked with us on cost-effective solutions for preventing issues with some aging plumbing in our house. I really respect his style and approach and would use him for future work.

I bought $50 sewer line televising coupon because we had some sewer backup and smell problems before. It was a right answer. Telescope showed serious problems with a broken sewer line under ground that had caused backup and smell. If we hadn't been aware of the problems, we would have had much terrible backup in the basement any time soon. We were glad that we could find and fix it before a possible disaster. The young pleasant technician who had showed telescope explained professionally and patiently about what was needed to be done. He contacted his office to get cost and date for the work. He presented a cost of $24750 but also he gave us another plan of $21000 with a warrant purchase. We bought 2 year warranty of $1600 in addition to $21000 that included everything including hiring police detail and finishing destroyed lawn, pavement, and sidewalk. My husband and I had no idea about the price but we didn't have time to get the second opinion so we decided to go forward trusting them. Even now, still we don't know if it was proper cost or not. And they presented just whole one price without detailed each cost listed. So I marked "C" in price just because we can't judge it but we feel too expensive. They worked professionally and promptly, especially they got permission from a city the next day and they were ready for the work in a week. They finished outdoor professionally (would be "A" in Quality). Just one thing we're not satisfied with is finishing the part of the basement floor. It was not even and indented so small furniture didn't stand upright. We called them back to refinish it. But still the finish is uneven and bumpy, hardly a professional masonry work. That's why we marked "C" in Quality. But overall it was a good experience with them.

I got a call back & appointment set up the same day I contacted Titan through Angie's list. Jared came to check out the situation and give me some estimates. He took his time and came up with several different options in different price ranges, and explained in detail his reasoning for his recommendations. If he ever gets tired of the plumbing business he could get a job selling just about anything and probably make a fortune. I like having options even though I almost always take the one in the middle. I also signed up for a service contract which includes maintenance and discounts. I got an appointment to get the work done in two weeks. The office called me with a reminder a couple of days before which was nice. The plumber (I didn't get his name, sorry!) was on the early side of the appointment window and did, as far as I can tell, a flawless job. Everything is neat and solid and I'm thinking it will last for a very long time. Part of the purchase price for this is regular service and filter changes, which is a relief since I busted the last one, obviously not the job for me. I can't vouch for the pricing on this job since it was within my budget and I really didn't shop around. The other plumber I contacted didn't respond so I went with Jared. I'm very happy with the job that they did and glad that I went for the improvement and not the patch-up. I'm a firm believer in long-term relationships with critical service providers like plumbers, electricians, and of course the furnace guys (brrr) and I'm glad to do business with Titan. Everyone involved was friendly, organized, and professional from start to finish.

Their service was fine. They were able to get it unclogged for me. The guy arrived on time. He was clean and neat. He made a recommendation for my drain, which I did get. It was a good service.

Overall it was a great experience. I thought the price of the putting in the disposal was a little high but the work performed was very good. He was efficient and did the job in a timely manner. In regards to the strange leak, when he couldn't find the leak himself, he called his boss for advice and then advised us accordingly. He was honest and did what he could to help us. It turns out that the second floor tenant had left their window open during a rainstorm and didn't want to tell us. Overall I like the "per job" pricing that they do because then you know what you are getting yourself into. There are no surprises like with some contractors who say it's going to be one price but then it turns out to be more.

They are very polite, very professional. It was mostly the high price and lack of flexibility that disturbed me. I also worried about thoroughness because they were working by a rigid script.

The technician came on time and seemed to do a thorough job cleaning and tuning up the furnaces. He suggested some changes that should be made to the furnace piping. He also inspected our hot water heaters and discovered one to be developing a small leak in the top. This company has technicians that are very knowledgable about steam heat. However, I find some of their plumbing prices to be a good deal higher than other companies. For this reason, we had the hot water heaters replaced by another plumber. Sometimes I also feel that some of the work they recommend is unnecessary. However, they are knowledgable and I have never been disappointed with any work in the past that I have hired them to do.

Titan contacted me to schedule my annual plumbing inspection (benefit as a Silver customer). I also requested installation of a sillcock spigot to replace a leaking exterior faucet. Jared came on-time and was well prepared. Explained my options, since my original proposal was not consistent with building code. Very informative. Work was done immediately and professionally.

Toilet wasn't flushing properly and it went from replacing entire insides to a new toilet.us My wife ask about shortening the chain in the flush and low and behold it solved the problem. I got the impression that the plumbers were paid on a bonus if there brought in new business. The young man was very pleasant and prompt. He did not get offended and made adjustments needed.
