Kevin in the Millwork dept was helpful and competent. The installer from Malkin & Sons was punctual and did a highly professional installation.

Got an estimate from another company that was over $300 more (which included a 20% off coupon) than Home Depot.. Was able to do the work sooner than expected. Arrived earlier than expected (I'm okay with that!). Very happy with the look and quality of the work.

It went very well. It was reasonable, a lot of choice, the quote was good and the guys that came to install were phenomenon.

The guy who was doing the windows for my house bought the windows from them. There was a deal that when you spend $5,000 and you’ll get a $300 rebate and that’s why I bought it from them. The rebate was given to the guy that did my windows and it wasn’t given to me. I told them about it and they did nothing about it. I am very disappointed with them. I think what they were doing was illegal.

The experience was pretty cool.  I actually did a couple of things through them and the flooring guys were the good ones.  They showed up on time for the estimate.  They showed up on time for the work when they said they were going to.  They took care of everything.  They were in and out.  The flooring was great.  They subcontracted the work.  The price was satisfactory and didn't have any issues.  I left out because the floor that I wanted was getting discontinued, so they were able to ship everything from 4 different stores to my house.  It was 1/3rd of the price for what it was going to cost earlier.  The guys were pretty good.  They cleaned up and weren't obnoxious.  They waved at each other.  The punctuality was the best part of them.  They were fun.

The initial experience was frustrating in that the roofing team failed to replace the trim boards as requested in the work order.  They came out and did the work after I complained up past the local supervisor.  The work site had a pound or two of nails left in the yard which I picked up.  Two areas had water leaks during the winter.  They ended up fixing one and ignoring the other.  Apparently they don't do flashing unless you force them to.  The second area of leaks got worse in 2011.  The first excuse was that they don't warranty against ice dams. Then they said I had no warranty.  I pointed out the 25 year warranty and they said yes, there was a warranty on materials, but, the materials were fine, so there was nothing they would do.  They also suggested they don't do partial roofs, so I couldn't get them out to the site to do repairs.  All in all, a pretty furstrating experience.  I thought I was getting a reputable company with a reputation to defend.  What I got was something less than I expected.

I have been pretty satisfied with them overall.

It went very well. The only problem I had was, the estimator came up short on his estimation. They came up with three lines short. The price was reasonable. They give a life time warranty. The fence looks straight and it seems to be very substantial. This fence was a special order. I would use their services again in the future.

Contracted with HomeDepot to have 9 interior doors replaced and installed. Malkin & Sons sent out the measurer who took measurements - sent them to HomeDepot and on the date of install ALL the doors were the WRONG measurements. Malkin & Sons asked me if I could live with a 2+ inch gap at the bottom of my doors because my door openings are 80" but the doors that came were 78"...now this 2" gap would not take into account the shimming/fitting of the doors, ofcourse. I said NO. The doors had to be reordered. Malkin & Sons blamed HomeDepot - HomeDepot blamed Malkin & Sons. When the doors arrived for the second time the closet door sliders were not included in that shipment. I had to wait for those doors to come and and schedule and take a third day off to have the job completed almost 2 months later. When the closet doors did finally arrive the installer from Malkin & Sons told me they were the wrong sized doors again. I was furious! Homedepot told me that they weren't the wrong sized doors that the doors needed to be milled to fit and that the installer (Malkin & Sons) should have known this. Two hours later the installer shows back up and installs the doors rather quickly and leaves. After about an hour needing to cool off I looked at the closet doors and THEY ARE CROOKED. I called Malin & Sons they would not take my call. I called HomeDepot who said the installer said everuything was fine when he left. I was furious and HomeDepot offered to sendf out a HomeDepot mill worker to take a look. Never ever again will I allow Malkin & Sons or any company that contracts with them to do anything in my house. And, HomeDepot is very much not worth the added cost you pay thinking they'll stand by the work you pay them to have done.

Home Depot was to install the dishwasher within twenty-four hours. Five days later they called and said they would come. They then called again and couldn't make it. It was a full week later when they came and then they were much later in the day than they said they would be. The man was full of apologizes and showed up with his girlfriend.

I think appliances are made to go every so many years. I have gotten to the point that if one goes, rather than repair it and spend the money trying to do that, I just buy new. The Home Depot in my area is very good. They are helpful and they have a large selection. The prices are fair and that is just where I choose to take my business.

Purchased two separate carpets in-store for two floors in our new home. The installation was completed in just a few hours about a month later. The original quote included a 10% coupon given by the salesperson that was later deemed to not be valid for our purchase, but the manager eventually agreed to honor it. The installers were outstanding, worked hard, did an excellent job and finished early. We noted one area we wanted the carpet adjusted on the stairs, and he took care of it quickly before leaving and apologized. We have had it installed for over 6 months now with absolutely no problems.

We visited Home Depot to order a storm door for our back door. The clerk said someone would be out within 2 weeks to measure both the front and back doorframes (we were considering a front door as well). Two weeks passed, and we never heard from anyone, so we called and were told that someone did come out and measure, but they forgot to measure the back door, so they would have to send someone out again. That took several days. When the door was ready for installation, which is done through Malkin and Sons, Malkin called with a pre-set day and time window. We told them that wasn't convenient and chose another day. Then we got a follow up call from Malkin confirming the original day rather than the one we had agreed upon. We straightened that out, then the time frame was changed a couple of times. On the day of installation, the contractor called to say he'd be late. Although the final installation went well and we're happy with the door, it was a big hassle.
