I bought a house in Brimfield, MA right before a tornado hit the area. Mike was hired to do all of the repairs to my new home. I was living in California at the time and the house needed a lot of remodeling before I could move in, so I called Mike to do the remodel. We exchanged several wish lists on my part, because I had a budget that I wanted to work with. Even though I changed the list at least 10 times, Mike kept working with me and did not show any frustration. When I traveled to Brimfield to sign the papers for the house, I finally got to meet Mike. We made a date and time and he showed up on schedule, with a big "nice to meet you" smile on his face. We went over the changes I wanted completed before I moved from California to Massachusetts. Mike would contact me at least weekly to let me know the progress of the remodel, and was extremely professional when answering my phone calls from the West Coast. Due to issues getting the building permit, Mike let me know that the house would not be done until after I arrived in Massachusetts. That was no problem for me since I had two dwellings on the property. When I finally reached Massachusetts, I got to meet Mikes crew who were also very nice and professional. Eve though Mike did not come to the site to work every day, he did stop by every day to check on the progress of his employees, and to let me know what was happening the next day: when the electricians were coming, when the plumber was coming, etc. I always knew exactly what to expect, and of course, I made requests and changes along the way, that Mike took in stride. He gave me exactly what I asked for even when it was a change to the original contract. He was so easy to work with that I also had him rebuild my garage and shed that the tornado had knocked down. Once again, he let me know the start date and he and his workers were at my house at exactly 8:00 to begin the work. As with the house remodel, Mike came by and checked the site every day and let me know what I should expect each day. He would also call to check that the electricity was turned on on schedule and that the garage door was put in on the day he had said. Working with Mike is a wonderful experience and I will continue to work with him ion the future. He is the best contractor I ever worked with. His next project is to put in a new bulkhead door to my basement. That is being held up by the weather in Massachusetts right now, but he will certainly let me know when he plans to get the work started.
