Description of Work: Services included, measurement of countertops, laminate countertop. and installation, excluding plumbing for gas shut off and water shut off. The company itself was very respectful, and punctual. The installation didn't go that well! My sisters and I, had to keep pointing out that the countertop was not level. They had to correct this several times with using "shims", only with us pointing out the discrepencies in height. They finally used a levelor to make sure it was level(which they hadn't done before). We then noticed there was a gap(seam" very noticable) where the corner peices came together. I called on this, and they said," it's impossible to not have a "seam, where you're talking about.". They said there was nothing they could do until/ or unless, the "seam" became more widened. They could then come and "glue" the gap back together. That is Not the work I was showed in the display room. The fact that, if we had not been there during the installation(which many people may not be),to oversee things, is unfortunate for the company. With this experience, I feel the people they hire, not the company itself necessarily, are to blame for what happened! I also have no warranty on the work performed(after a year), so that if there is a problem with the gap(which is already happening,(after a year and a half ago). I think the company, and it's immediate staff at the showroom were helpful. If the people coming out, want to just install things, and leave without checking that Everything is up to code, Level, and that the custmer is really happy with thee overall!!!(without the customer having to point it out), The company should consider hiring other people , or overseeing things more closely, to make sure things are done as they're supposed to be! Thank you for the time, MaryEllen O'Neil
