He was professional - no pressure - and helped us with ideas for the landscaping. The price was good and the he and his crew did a great job. We will absolutely use him again.

 + 1 moreThe entire job went smoothly. The crew arrived on time and they were able to remove and reinstall a fence post allowing for an excavator to enter the yard so that the existing soil and overgrowth could be removed and new soil installed. Very well executed.
Description of Work: Macauley Brothers were hired to dig out an overgrown garden and replace the soil with clean fill for a future vegetable garden.

 + 1 moreWorkers did a thorough job of the landscaping but the crew got a little out of hand at one point. Landscaping truck was parked a little too far out in the street and an ambulance needed to get by. Apparently one of the workers had some words with the ambulance driver and the police were called in! As much as I think they did a good job at the landscaping and the fact that they came to my home very fast, I will not use this company again due to the unprofessionalism of the workers.

Description of Work: They did a simple job (mulching and pouring stones into areas of a backyard) but the yard had unusually complicated logistics in that there was no easy access to it other than throwing bags of mulch and stones over a precipice to the yard below, then spreading it from there.

 + 2 moreI first met with Bernie to discuss our needs, he was very knowledgeable about the plants we had and what I wanted to save. His crew arrived (3 men) and all were fantastic. They were very knowledgeable about what they were cleaning out and did a fantastic job. They left the yard much cleaner than when they had arrived! One of the crew was able to make several recommendations in regards to the plant placements that would better suit our tastes as this was just our first season in the house. Their expertise is very evident.
Description of Work: pruned back several bushes, cut back several tree branches that had come over my fence, cleaned and weeded flower beds and removed ivy that had started to take over

On the day, his team arrived and were very professional. They competed all the tasks within the agreed time and even did some extra bits and bobs. They left my yard spotless and I'm really pleased with everything they did. It was also helpful that they were able to bring mulch at a reasonable rate. I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them

 + 2 moreThey provide so many excellent services, everything went as planned and on schedule (which is very important to me). The quality of their work was top notch and reasonably priced. I feel confident recommending them to my family, friends and neighbors.
Description of Work: I had problems with people parking on my lawn to pick up their children from school. After much frustration with this issue I called Bernie. He came to my home and made many helpful suggestions. We decided the best course of action was to put boulders around the perimeter of the yard. I also had small trees removed from the property, my back yard cleaned and a one car gravel driveway put in the back for extra parking and a matching walk way leading to the garage. the whole process took less than 2 days. The crew was professional, the price was awesome and I was totally satisfied with the results. I had many neighbors stop by to tell me how fabulous the yard looks. I Had Bernie's crew return on 11/21/12 to do my fall clean up and clean my gutters. They were finished in less than 3 hours, the yard looked awesome for the Thanksgiving holiday, again they were totally professional and hard working. I will be having them back again in the spring.
